Here is a great collection of memorabilia from the past Some of which has direct connection to the mountains past. Other items have been donated by people connected with the early pioneers . There’s a real spirit of adventure captured by those trailblazer community Some would not be popular in today outlook as they simply came to chop down the giant trees for timber The museum s exhibit s are a bit tired and many items are in a worn state needing tender care. It needs to be said this is completely a labour of love for the volunteers who keep the place open albeit just Sunday s 10 am to 3 pm I think it’s a wonderful effort to keep our past before us

We truly enjoyed a fascinating, interesting and educational visit. The exhibits are very well done, plenty to see and learn. Thankyou to the wonderful volunteer guides who made our time there even more informative by sharing their stories, knowledge and passion for times past. Loved it and will definitely visit again.

Lovely new place for us. Award winning Australian grown speciality coffee. We had ours with pecan pie. Yum! Coffee tree with red berries at front entrance and along border. Planted 7 years ago. Good service.

Absolutely loves our visits here. The volunteers have put a lot of time and love and effort including making it interesting and alive in places. The touch screens let you source so much information, seeing what buildings looked like originally and what stores they are today. The school was a lot of interest for our family - the history of what was taught, what was considered polite and what wasn’t, the differences and challenges that were faced … you can see the old newspaper clippings with so many adverts (including rent a place for 6p a week). Original furnishings, cars, beds - so much rich history and culture. if you really enjoy history, don’t miss this place. It is child friendly and disability friendly (parking directly at the front of the entrance to its a ramp for wheelchairs), and you can even see wildlife if you look hard enough. 😀

I’m bit surprise nice presentation is really worth a visit. If you’re an outsider I recommend grabbing save a coffin and go out explore the heritage. I was quite blown over sweetie with a visit.

Visiting the Tamborine Mountain Heritage centre is a must if you enjoy looking at how the early settlers lived up on the mountain. It's only $5 entry and $1 for children. Take the kids into the old schoolroom so they can see how privileged we are today. Read the rules for teachers back then. That will have you laughing.

Very cute little place, and things aren't all locked behind glass. Cheap at half the cost!
