Nice family friendly park and beach on Gold Coast. Have a play and swim. The beach is amazing and is part of many miles and kilometres of the Gold Coast beach. There is a market on every first Sunday of the month with lots of home-made goodies, homecooked food, great art and craft pieces and lots of gift ideas for pets and children. But the beach ⛱️ is the place to go, and I consider it one of the most beautiful places in the world. Lots of people go to the beach for early morning walks and surfing before work, and on the footpaths just outside the sand, by the road, there are lots of walkers and joggers. The beach is not busy and has a good breadth of sand as well, so you have plenty of space to sit, put your beach umbrellas up and other people don't have to walk around you. The beach is also patrolled (at specific times) and there are surf life saving outposts at regular intervals along the beach. Shops are not far off, and there are supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, fast good joints all close by. Best time to go to the beach for a stroll is either early morning or late afternoon. Heaps of car parking for early morning walkers to park cars, and car parking next to the beach is free till about 9am. Overall an amazing place to just enjoy.

All ages free fun. Great park with gate surrounding. Sensory rubber ground, sandpit, flying fox, submarine, slides for single and double rides. Steps away for a quick beach walk and the cafe at Broadbeach is open till 3pm.

Great beachfront location. Less touristy than Surfers Paradise, my pick of a spot for central Gold Coast. Great range of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Fantastic expanse of beach sub dune that has been kept free of development which is a miraculous happening considering the rapturous rate of building on the Gold Coast It provides a wonderful oasis for recreation in the midst of a concrete jungle of high rise ! Good place for a picnic or just to chill out after a swim in the ocean

So great to have green space beside the beach rather than just highrises and units. Well done whoever had the forethought to make it a reality. And so well used. Makes the area that much more liveable. And all lit up at night too.

Nice park. Spacious. Located between the beach and the Broadbeach mall it's handy to everything. Good facilities in the park too. Pity there's a monstrous surf club at the edge of the park spoiling a natural environment.

Was here for the Masters games. 12.50 for a mid strength 1 set of toilets inside the park. Park was nice. Would have appreciated it more if the games village was not there

Went there as part of Blues on Broadbeach. The set up was really good with the stage and plenty of food trucks around. Great bands playing and a great atmosphere. Good facilities and a fantastic playground for kids. Close to all the shops and excellent dining, and right next to the beach. What more could you want, one of the best parks on the Gold Coast!

Relaxing place with a nice grass shaded area and well looked after amenities. We attended a beach tennis tournament held on the huge nice and flat sand area just in front of the park. Definitely the best beach tennis venue in Australia.

A nice park overlooking the beach. There are many cafes around to grab a bite. Parking is limited. There is a small free 3 hour car park. Paid street parking is also available. It's a good place to picnic, go for a swim and enjoy a day out with friends and family.

Overall a great place to go for a relaxing walk, kick a ball around, or whatever takes your fancy. The beach is amazing too.

I really enjoy my time at this place. It has a strong focus on family-friendly activities, offering expansive grassy areas, two playgrounds for children, a fantastic walking path, and direct access to the beautiful surf beach! Moreover, the convenience of having Broadbeach shops, restaurants, and cafes just a stone's throw away from Kurrawa SLSC adds to its appeal.

Great childerns playground, next to beach. There were quite a lot of picnic places with barbecue, but unfortenately they are removed.

  • 5/5 T H. 8 months ago on Google
Awesome accessible play ground with a changing places restroom nearby for wheelchair users (who have an mlak key) there's an AAC board, a balance ship with ramp access that kids with wheelchairs can use, a seated flying fox and a super cool submarine that kids of all abilities can walk or roll into. the inclusion here is so wonderful to see. LOVE to see playgrounds that are accessible for children of all abilities, really hope this becomes a lot more common, just wonderful!

Really nice park to sit in the share with a warm ocean breeze. Lovely grass, areas with less of shade provided from the stunning trees. BBQs are available on site. Lots of parking available too, we did have to pay to park but there park was at the park... Lots of parking in that sentence! Wish we could have spent a lazy afternoon resting here. Only 2min walk to the beach too. Gold Coast at it's best.

Great part of the world but it's a pity the council decided to get rid of so many tables/shelters - obviously they don't want people to smvisit and stay. Markets were on as well which had a pretty good range of stalls but being a long weekend a few spots seemed empty.

Beautiful park, great family picnic place, a fantastic kids playground, oasis shopping centre across the road with your food and drink needs plus heaps more

  • 5/5 Mike C. 10 months ago on Google
Top park at broadbeach. Heaps to keep you busy with acres of sandy beach, great eating spot at the surf club, well equipped kids fenced play ground and sealed walkways. Add to this is the Oasis shopping center boasting easy shopping and many cafes. This all makes for a great day out.

Currently having the grass resurfaced. Great large park to relax in. Markets once a month on a Sunday. Lots of areas to relax, have a picnic, play ball games etc.

  • 3/5 Gustavo H. 1 year ago on Google
It seems like the park is under construction. Almost all of the grass is isolated, but some of the amenities such as water fountains and benches can be accessed. For some reason, it has a strong manure smell in some parts, which wasn't pleasurable as I walked towards the beach.

  • 5/5 Susan Marina R. 1 year ago on Google
Love spending time here. It's very family orientated with open grass areas, two playgrounds for the kids, a great walking path and right on the surf beach! Broadbeach shops, restaurants a d cafes are just across the road from Kurrawa SLSC, so nice and handy!

Parking can be difficult but there's a reason for this. Gorgeous beach and a large play area.

  • 5/5 Dorothy N. 3 years ago on Google
Best playground for children. A water park would be above addition for toddlers who don't like the sand and beach, otherwise it's great

Kurrawa park has large grassy areas for families and some tables and shaded tables. the BBQs are free but keep pressing the button to keep the heat on. Easy bike riding tracks and right next to the beach. You can walk across to cafes and get takeaway for a picnic or dine in. One of the most family friendly places on the Gold Coast
