Love the park always quiet ,sky is blue , enjoy swimming in the water

I love this place for a good day out with my dog - the Currumbin Creek Waters are a great opportunity for having a swim with him or throwing a ball or the odd stick. Dogs can be off their leash in some areas and it is very rare that there’s any aggression between them. Kids love it too. 👍 I will be very happy once the construction is completed in the new playground area.

What a lovely little beach! It was nice little spot for my son to paddle around in the water. We didn’t explore the park, as my son is still very little and it was overwhelmingly large for him. But for older kids the park looked like a dream! We will definitely be back when he is a little older - or soon, for the beautiful, calm little beach.

Great, safe place to take little ones for a swim. Pirate park a bonus. Shower facilities are fantastic to wash sand off before heading home. We love it here

Great place for spending time with family! Nice playground and beautiful beach. Lots of car parking space. Very busy on the weekend.

Loved spending time here with the kids. They have bbq (4 available), beach, bathrooms, cafeteria, and a nice walk! However, parking is terrible. If you cannot find any parking try parking on the street or across the road.

this is a great place for the fam. great park and great swimming location. just get there early on a weekend to avoid a long walk.

Fantastic hidden gem. Wish we'd discovered this earlier in our holiday. Magic location and not as busy as some other parks. Awesome kids playground and good swimming too.

Popular and sandy, pretty also comes to mind. But I left me bloody camera in the car so .....oh which reminds me a mate of mine had his busted into parked here so don’t leave something you want to keep in view for the poor junkie grubs to stock fill cash converters with.

Very nice area, great cafe there if you want food or a coffee.

It's a beautiful parkland area. Nice place to swim, have a BBQ, walk your dog or go for a nice walk yourself. Great cafe nearby. It will be so much better once the kids playground upgrade is finally finished. It does get busy so a carpark is sometimes hard to get close by.

Always buzzing with people and pets here and if you're patient enough to wait for a car park it will all be worth it. The estuary is a salty bath of bliss while a short walk to surfside promises invigorating waves. With ample picnic spots and an excellent cafe in between, it's no surprise this place is always a favourite for many.

Dune Cafe serves yummy food. Pirate Park has just been refurbished and is loads of fun for little and big kids. The creek and beach are dog friendly and off leash. Always a holiday atmosphere.

Love it, lots of activity for the kids and a beautiful bay to take a dip or get some sun. Parking is always an issue in the summer days but it's like that anywhere you go.

Renovations complete, pirate ship much improved, now has zipline. Only problem is getting a park, but given it's a great playground that backs onto a beach, it's still worth 5 stars

Great place for young families. There is shade, clean toilets. Playground can get hot during the day. Bay had no waves so small child can easily swim

Very busy today being school holidays but still plenty of room to put out a picnic blanket and enjoy the day. Cafe busy too but we had our own lunch. Water great for littlies and beach across the way for doggies to swim.

This beach is just a gorgeous place. Especially for dogs, with sheltered waves and clean sand and water. Let's keep it that way!

One of the best family and dog friendly parks on the gold coast. A fantastic kids pirate playground, grass areas with plenty of shaded spots, a lagoon with beach and clean toilets. Perfect. The Dune Cafe part of the park is excellent as well. Gets busy with the only downside can be harder to find a parking spot.

Good play area close to the beach. Pirate themed play area is really loved by the children.

Very impressed with the place. Great choices for swimming and activities wth the kids. All within a few minutes walk of each other. Was so nice to have the beach, river and the playground so close together. Plenty of toilet and changing facilities around and was nice to see many, many trees planted throughout the parklands providing shade. Best spot for us was down by the river, where the kids got swimming, sand castle building and we got a spot under a tree next to them. Need to get there early though, as parking is challenging due to the popularity. Alternatively, go down after 2pm when most people are starting to leave. Great for a family day out.

A favourite spot for our family. Plenty of room for children to run around, the cafe does a good coffee. We love the creek for a paddle too!

Great children’s play area. Came here for a night time dinner when the birds are asleep. Haha most peaceful dinner ever!

Heaven on earth

A fabulous little area. The water was so refreshing. Plenty of people with small children as the beach amd water are protected from the tides and waves. Great for fur babies as one part is designated for these babies. A couple of trees and benches under shelter but if you want shade suggest you bring your own. Cannot wait to return.

Always a good day out

Beautiful inlet for a swim, it is an off the leash area for dogs and the dogs do run wild and play. Fantastic for them to get their energy out. They can go swimming with you and the family as well. One of the only areas on the southern part of Gold Coast dogs are allowed off leash on a beach.
