A lovely tranquil place to visit, suitable for all ages. You could easily spend a day here wandering around the many pathways throughout the gardens. Enjoy a picnic on the lawns or use one of the many picnic tables, or just sit and enjoy the views. They are open daily, the car park can be busy at times. There are toilet facilities and most walkways are wheelchair friendly. Admission is free, but a donation is very welcomed.

I recently visited the Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens in June 2022 and it was truly lovely. The garden is beautifully maintained and offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The various plants and flowers were in full bloom, creating a colorful and vibrant atmosphere. The gardens are well laid out with easy to navigate paths, making it a great place to spend a few hours. I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing experience. Overall, it was a wonderful visit to the Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens and I can't wait to go back.

We got there at 9am so the car park was empty. This place really is beautiful and so well thought out, the different walks are brilliant and the attention to detail is world class. Our kids loved exploring and reading the different information signs explaining different facts. Great that there are public toilets and picnic tables too. Beautiful, peaceful tranquility in the rainforest!

A pleasant surprise! Many times I came up to Tamborine Mountain and missed this beautiful Botanical Garden. Worth visiting! There are no cafes at this park would advice to bring your own cuppa and tukka for picnic.

This place is so beautiful and unique. It's great for all ages as it has delicate floral displays, fountains, and little forest trails with huts and sculptures. Perfect for a date picnic. The only criticism I would have is the toilets can be a little gross.

A beautiful Botanical Gardens, it's not crowded the day we came. Beautiful autumn colours amongst the trees. Nice ponds and walking through the garden with the sound of the fountain. But, it definitely needs a bit of work, the pond where the Koi fishes needs cleaning up, some rubbish floating in the pond as well. It's definitely a great place for picnics and to explore while walking to the trails amongst the trees.

Loved this botanical garden! Had the whole family with me! From a 5 year old to a 73 year old! Everyone had fun! You can easily spend 3 hours, with lots of places to sit and eat in. It is bring your own but a lovely place to visit.

A great place to bring the kids or wander through the various walking trails that have interesting things to see around almost every corner. Young children would have a lot of fun exploring Sooty Owl's Creekside Trail. It was very peaceful and relaxing.

An absolutely beautiful experience!!! I highly recommend stopping by to visit. It's a great place to bring young kids too! Keep in mind that although the majority of the paths are wheelchair friendly, some of the smaller ones have a few steps.

It's a beautiful and well maintained garden. There's so much to see and perfect for all age groups. There's a picnic area, seatings, toilet facilities and plenty of parking spaces. A perfect place to relax and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Totally worth a visit.

This place was so much more than I expected! It was absolutely fantastic, with so many little walks, all with interesting facts about the plants, trees, history, habitats and wildlife signposted along the way. The many trails have been well thought out and there are numerous quiet and private 'contemplative' spaces with a bench to sit and 'contemplate'. The gardens is run entirely by volunteers and they are clearly very dedicated, passionate, creative and skilled. The work they do is amazing and it delivers wonderful experiences for those who visit. There are several boxes around seeking a gold coin donation to help fund the work and supplies needed for the upkeep of the gardens and I urge anyone to make a donation, including paper dollars, to ensure this place that gives so much can continue to do so.

A really beautiful spot. Tucked away not too far from the main tourist street of the mountain, the gardens are well worth a visit. It is so peaceful and they have so many different little sections to look at. There is sheltered seating, and if you’re lucky you might spot a turtle in the water!

I never knew this was free! It was a very nice walk with cut little zones of different flora. Not a big fan of the animal noises but I got used to it. I particularly enjoyed the kids section- plenty of interactivity and cute bridges.

Omg this is my happy place! There is something so peaceful and beautiful here that I haven't found in other botanical gardens. Its spacious enough that you do not feel crowded and yet, theres so much natural greenery that you feel like you are truly in nature and not a curated gardens. But beware! The bin chickens are nowhere in sight, but those Kookaburras? They are very 'friendly' and had no problems dive bombing our kebana WHILE we were eating it. 🤣

It is a beautiful garden is divided into several themes. There are different sections for flowers, palms, orchids, rainforest, cascade etc. There are several walking tracks to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the rainforest trail. There is ample parking and many benches and shady aress to sit and relax or even have a picnic. It's a great place to visit with kids. No dogs are allowed here.

Incredible place to explore. Wander around the different themed gardens, or have a picnic near the pond or in one of the peaceful grassed areas. BYO picnic rug, otherwise there are plenty of park benches and some picnic tables spread around the gardens. There are some interesting interactive places hidden within some of the walks. Lots of native birds. Toilets and free parking. No dogs or bikes, scooters, etc. Plenty of flat pathways for pram and wheelchair access. Take insect repellent! There are mossies!

Over all it’s a beautiful place to visit with so many hidden places to explore. Over all it’s not a big garden but you could easily spend the day there relaxing with friends and family, or just reading a book.

The Botanic garden has a large area to walk about, but it is not in its best, possibly due lack of fund, I guess. It would be splendid if the garden could be well preserved

Very nice garden with a beautiful lake. Lovely bridge over the lake with different plants and flowers. Not only walking around the lake, but more tracks to choose. Highly recommended.

This gem seamlessly combines the beauty of nature and well curated gardens featuring a wide variety of plants to discover. The themed trails offer a delightful and unique experience, and the picturesque short boardwalk through the palm tree forest is an unexpected and pleasant surprise.

Visiting the botanical garden was a truly enchanting experience. The diverse collection of plants and flowers in this garden is a sight to behold. I was captivated by the vibrant colors and the sheer variety of species on display. The well-maintained paths made it easy to explore the garden, and the informative signage provided interesting insights into the different plants and their origins. I particularly enjoyed the serene atmosphere and the opportunity to connect with nature in the heart of the city. Overall, a visit to this botanical garden is a perfect way to spend a peaceful and educational day surrounded by the beauty of the natural world.

Came here a week ago with my partner to see the autumn leaves. It’s been many times we came to Tambourine Mountain but the first time here in the Botanical Garden. We’re here during the weekday, so very quiet and peaceful. We walked around and felt we’re like walking into a Japanese garden once we saw the Torii here. Although it’s a bit late for the autumn leaves but we still saw the beautiful garden with different sorts of flowers and trees. We also visited the nursery garden and bought a few plants home. Just enjoyed the visit and if you haven’t been here before like us, definitely recommend this to you!

One of the best botanic gardens we have ever been to. The forest trail is lovely and it's perfect for children of all ages. Beautiful layers upon layers on different native and non native trees. A true paradise in the mountains.

Beautiful place above heights of the mountain. We loved the Rose garden. Lotus 🪷 flowers around. Water fountain and walking bridge are nice. You can take plenty of pictures. And it’s free entry it’s really good. We want to go again to enjoy it thoroughly. Thank you and appreciate the management. Australia land of plenty.

A nice relaxing forest with plenty of walking tracks & plant species. Toilets & tables are available for use. Limited parking inside the grounds. Plenty of mosquitoes, don't forget the aerogaurd, you will need it.

The Tambourine Botanical gardens are a beautiful spot to come for a picnic or a simple stroll. The gardens are well-maintained and provide a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The carpark is quite small, which could make it hard to find a park during busier times of the day. There are toilets available along with a nice picnic area.

Peaceful gardens at Mount Tambourine. Lovely spot for a picnic under shady trees or covered seated areas. Good toilet facilities & a fair amount of parking. We had a great time here exploring the different gardens.

Such a lovely relaxed shopping experience with a wonderful range of retail, cafes and bars. I really enjoyed the unique boutique vibe and super friendly service. The magical sunset view on the way home capped off a memorable day beautifully.

Lovely spot but not a lot of parking. Could certainly do with a coffee van so you could meander through the gardens with a coffee and a bite.
