Lake
laguna
park
is
moderately
large
park
with
a
50%
land
50%
water
ratio.
Saftey
is
paramount
at
laguna
park
and
it
becomes
obvious
at
first
glance.
The
playground
is
kitted
out
with
durable
plastic
climbing
frames.
On
the
frames
there
are
large
bold
signs
that
display
the
warning,
NO
CLIMBING.
This
may
seem
counterintuitive
but
it
actually
is
not
as
the
frames
are
there
for
the
children
to
gaze
at,
not
use.
They
are
the
childrens
equivalent
of
a
modern
art
gallery.
Around
the
park
a
sparse
smattering
of
BBQ's
can
be
accessed.
Once
again
saftey
is
the
most
important
aspect
and
the
BBQ's
demonstrate
this
perfectly.
The
electrical
equipment
next
to
the
BBQ
is
triple
padlocked
in
a
steel
box
and
on
the
BBQ
is
a
sign
the
fortells
the
heating
of
the
BBQ
as
a
dangerous
activity.
But
not
all
is
well.
A
loose
tank
of
possibley
propain
has
been
left
lying
around.
At
first
notice
the
lake
is
pristine
but
upon
closer
inspection
it
becomes
evident
the
the
lake
is
actually
a
cesspool
full
of
local
rubbish.
The
waterway
leading
out
of
the
lake
was
cloged
thick
with
rubbish
and
resembled
the
atrocious
connditions
of
an
indian
river.
I
found
a
orange
container
floating
sinisterly
by
the
shore
then
I
noticed
a
large
stick
bobbing
around
with
malicious
intent.
This
was
highly
concering
as
any
young
adults
hooning
their
tinnings
in
the
lake
may
hit
the
log
and
capsize.
It
was
then
i
noticed
the
explosive
mines,
the
kind
used
to
stop
a
submarine.
I
was
overjoyed
at
this
because
it
forced
tinny
rats
to
whoomp
their
boats
elsewhere
and
saves
the
lake
from
further
pollution
and
saves
boaters
from
hitting
stary
logs.
Though
it
was
a
small
silver
lining
to
a
smog
filled
cloud
it
was
enought
to
earn
lake
Laguna
