The service here was exceptional!!!! The best food we’ve had at a Surf Club ever. Beautiful views. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend!

When making our reservation at the desk earlier in the day, Loretta was most helpful with information. Thanks for the service with a smile Loretta. Upon arrival there was an issue with our seating which was caused by another two patrons. The situation was quickly resolved by Leesa. Thanks Leesa for great service on the run. Great service at the bar from James. Good selection of wines and cold beers. Thanks James. On top of this, our meals were delicious and good value. We will be back.

Listen to me please, if you're in Burleigh Heads and you don't come here for breakfast you'd be an absolute fool. Amazing views, right on the beach, great food, very friendly staff. Sensational!

Excellent place for a meal and cool drink. We were lucky to get a table on the balcony. This had a view of the beach while we had dinner.

PARKING DIFFICULT BUT WORTH IT Great food and amazing specials For $49.90, you can get a garlic bread and choice of mains per couple. This included a bottle of wine. I had the chicken schnitzel and hubby had battered barramundi. Came with chips and salad or veges. Family friendly and plenty of seating. Toilets are okay and cater for wheelchairs. Accessibility is good for prams, wheelchairs and walkers as they have a lift. Plenty of tables with an outside area for functions. Views of the ocean, good service and great food - definitely a recommendation.

It was amazing. Have never been there but could not fault it staff were really great and food and service was excellent. Very roomy and beautiful view over the ocean.

The meat lovers pizza was 99 per cent cheese no spices undercook and quite sickening. Never again. The curry was dry, not saucy. The only 2 good things were the view and that the staff were friendly.

Advise to book, even for Monday night. Friendly service, good/honest food, great view.

Great food, friendly staff. A little disappointed with the takeaway ability. Although takeaway is allowed, and in case necessary, either packaging was poor, or sauces couldn’t be provided without mention. And portions for takeaway seemed much smaller compared to dine-in.

Food was very average. We both ordered a chili seafood pasta. Mine hardly had any chili looking totally 'white' & DRY yet my friends was pink & spicy. Surely both made at the same time? At least there was seafood. We were offered complimentary drinks when it was pointed out. Service was a bit slack. The view is always the best.

Went today for a late brekkie and yes had the eggs benny as per usual. Probably the best Eggs Benedict to date 👌 Two slices of sourdough which were not overcooked, two perfectly cooked eggs and definitely the best Hollandaise ever! Bravo 10/10

Would you be happy with this for $26? This ‘barra fillet’ looked depressing - and tasted like rubber. Not surprised if it’s from a frozen box.. Wife’s seafood platter was also a disappointment (and missing a prawn..).

Nice view only from the dozen or so window tables available. Order at the bar for food and drinks, no table service, however food is delivered to your table. Would be nice if they had music softly playing. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of seating available on our visit however not many with a view. Staff need some coaching on smiles and hospitality to have you feel welcomed.

Food ok. Service slow and uneven. Served 5 out of 6, several reminders before 6th arrived. Last coffee even slower. Service at the coffee shop downstairs attrocious.

Almost every review talks about the view, which you can enjoy for free by just standing on the beach. The club finished a major upstairs reno in 2021. The food was consistently terrible for a while but improved with new kitchen staff. Meal quality and presentation is still very much hit and miss. The downstairs bar is known to locals as the Crabpot. It is in dire need of renovation. Character is one thing but decay and mold are another. The flooring is dangerously uneven, chairs and stools don't match and look like they were bought on Gumtree, the inside is depressing with a low acoustic ceiling, the toilets are cramped and awful - especially for women, the clear plastic awnings are opaque with age and the place was last painted about 30 yrs ago. This is a bar where men have been seen taking their glass of beer into the urinals. Don't order food in the Crabpot because your order will travel uncovered from upstairs, through the club and through the crowds before arriving downstairs - god knows how many people will have sneezed on it. Not hygienic. Renovation of the crabpot is way overdue. They should get rid of the little pokie room and expand the toilets, and use the pokie room doorway as the entrance to new Female toilets. And get rid of the pensioner bouncer who guards the toilets every afternoon.

DO NOT EAT HERE. See picture of Oysters Kilpatrick. Food here is rubbish. Best thing is the cold beer and the view. Surrounded by 100s of amazing food places all walking distance. Give this place a miss.

Just stopped in for a coffee in the morning. Love the casual vibe here, prompt, friendly service and of course the awesome view. Best coffee we had in Burleigh with a view to match.

The last time we went here (prior to this visit) was about six months ago, and that was a lovely experience. However this time was very different. We went on a Wednesday afternoon at about 1pm, and I can only presume they were understaffed. First, I needed to speak to somebody about my membership, but there was nobody on reception and the bar/wait staff were too busy. There was a huge line at the bar and wait staff just rushed past us. We decided to forget the membership issue and went to find ourselves a table. Presumably due to being busy/understaffed, most of the empty tables still needed cleaning. After finding a table, we sat down and looked at the menu (scan a QR code type menu). The price of the food had increased so much since our last visit. I know inflation is high, but basic meals seemed overly expensive, e.g chicken parmigiana $28, burgers $25, Thai salad $27, fish of the day $40. Even the'little nippers' meals were now $15. I do love this surf club and the food is great, but I was very disappointed with everything about this visit - and that was before we had even ordered - so we decided to leave.

Had a fantastic experience here, the food was awesome and great portions (burger and pasta), staff really go out of their way to be friendly and give good service, also the spectacular views!

My meal was ok but basically plenty of others in our party had to wait forever, meals didn't come, then they did, then they brought a replacement that was cold but wasn't needed anyway. Felt sorry for the wait staff, whilst we weren't rude they must have been frustrated by the problems happening beyond their control. Bar staff were pretty good, nil real issues, pleasant and polite. Atmosphere and decor were ok, for a club thought it was quite nicely decked out.

We popped in here for a couple of Friday Arvo Beers 🍻. Beautiful View, Friendly Staff. No happy hour specials unfortunately or even a tap beer of the month special but the restaurant was full so the food must be OK, definitely give it a go next time. But def recommend this place for somewhere to meet up for a couple of drinks, we sat out on the deck and the view is definitely 10/10.

Went here for lunch on a sunny Saturday in June 2023. Felt like half the golf coast was at Burleigh, people everywhere and as a result the surf club was absolutely packed. Really lovely lady at reception managed to find us a table. Despite her advising food would be more than 45 minutes or possibly even an hour, our meals arrived quickly in under 30 minutes. The food was fantastic, the Barramundi green curry just divine. The surf club has great views over the beach including an outdoor balcony. Great spot to pop in.

Everything was fantastic food and fast service. Also the ocean view.

Nice team behind the bar. Not much variety in meals... everything is salad and chips. If they had a meal with vegetables we'd have eaten there more over the 10 days. Did have 3 meals and then we were done with the menu. Some good wines by the bottle, the main reason for going back the third night. The Phillip Shaw No 11 Chardonnay was excellent. Cutlery was an issue. Ran out one day and we ate with a spoon. Surely it would be much better to hand out cutlery wrapped in a serviette on ordering rather than everyone's hands delving into containers in a common area. Much more hygenic and this way you could also monitor the supply of cutlery available. The staff behind the bar were great! Very friendly. Full marks to Anton.

Had a slight issue with my steak. Spoke to the staff and they sorted it out immediately and gave me. Brand new meal with even a better cut of steak. Lachlan and Elka were fantastic and so accommodating. 5 stars ⭐️ for their customer service. Will be back

Lovely venue and location. Ordered the Big Breakfast and was a bit disappointed as I couldn't rat the sausage ecause it was overcooked and very dry and tasteless. The mushrooms, hash brown, eggs, tomato, etc were OK. I imagine that parking could be a problem but as luck would have it, it was a cold, windy day which probably kept a lot of people from going to the beach.

Great meal and service. Our meal was superb, very friendly staff, location second to none. We had the most pleasent evening. Highly recommend this surf club. Cheers.

The surf club is in a prime location. The balcony overlooks the beach and is a hive of activity. I had kids who played on the beach while the adults had a quiet drink and chat. We could watch them play from inside. We booked on a busy night for a large group of 17 people. We recommend booking well in advance. The staff were accomodating and friendly. The meals are ordered at the counter and came out quickly. The food was good value and tasty. All were happy. We highly recommend this place for dining in.

I had lunch there on fathers day with my family. I myself had fish & chips (flathead) with salad. Extremely disappointed with my meal. It consisted of lots of chips (beer battered?) and the fish didn't have that fresh taste. The salad was non existent and watery. My grand daughter ordered chicken nuggets & chips. She ate the chips but left the nuggets. The other four meals were all steaks of which looked uninviting. Pretty basic stuff. Most Surf Clubs in Queensland have a licence to print money as they have panoramic views and all have wonderful facilities.​ I know there are delays with staff shortages at the moment​ but even as a lay person I could have cooked and prepared the meals with a little more flair. Enough said!

We had dinner here, and enjoyed it so much we came back another day for breakfast downstairs. All the staff were friendly, the food was good, if slightly pricey, but of course you are paying for the magnificent view. It was pretty crowded and noisy the night we were there, but I guess that means it’s popular. Will definitely return.

We had 5 meals and were very impressed. 3×steaks and 2 salads. The steaks were cooked to our needs and vegetables were cooked to perfection. The salads, pork belly and an halloumi were beautifully presented and quite large. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better venue and meal.

Great Surf Club. Restaurant/bistro is located upstairs. Had Green Thai Barramundi Curry which was delicious. There is gaming room located off this area, through sliding door and bar downstairs.

Spectacular view ! Visit twice during my 4 night stay. Food is average - not bad but also nothing special either.

I recently had my 70th birthday celebration at the Burleigh SLSC. The venue was perfect with the views over the beach and ocean . We got many compliments on how good the food was. The staff were very nice and great to work with. Thank you Nick, Tina and Jasmine. It was perfect and just what I wanted.

This place was a lovely stay while me and my family were on holidays. We loved coming to this friendly community to have their amazing breakfast. If you ever go to the gold coast, be sure to pop in and have some of their lovely food.

Great location but we booked over a week in advance for our 38th wedding anniversary. Requested a table near the window overlooking the beach. When we arrived staff had reallocated our table to someone else and placed us as far away from the window as we could be. Thanks to Leesa who was aware it was our anniversary, we were moved to a table overlooking the beach after someone cancelled. Maybe staff should be a little more aware of their customers requests. The food was good but my husband says salad is not salad without tomato.😂 enjoyed our meal thanks to Leesa
