A fabulous park in the heart of Broadbeach. Great location and facilities. Parking on the weekends can be problematic as it's in a popular area.

What a wonderful park to take you small children. Well maintained, plenty of shade, great lawns & incredible play equipment - all within 50m of the beach. Magnificent!

Superb walking area with nice surroundings. Bikes think they own the path so watch your back. There are random water fountains around the walk. Well sign posted and not to hard of the feet.

Pratten Park is in a fantastic location - you can literally smell the sea from here. The train. Bicycle thingys provide lots of fun for kids 3 years and above. Supervision is required as I’ve seen kids almost bump each other off these before. Gets really busy as expected on weekends and school holidays.

Beautiful beach front park. Doesn’t get more Gold Coast than this. Perfect spot for a walk or run.

Pratten park is the perfect game for a picnic, game of cricket or play in the park. It is exceptionally safe, clean and absolutely blissful. Plus it's just a hop away from the beach

Lots of great play equipment. Including equipment for those of all abilities. The toilets though. OMG. Just unacceptably disgusting. If it's not hard to keep the Burleigh public toilets clean every day why is it so hard here?

It's ok park for kids. There is no BBQ area. I can keep them here for 1-2 hrs that's all. They will get bord afterward. This a quick park to go not for family picnic I think because there are place to sit not to eat.

Beautiful area of Gold Coast. It is nice to walk along the ocean front and beach in the mornings. The park itself is well maintained, has lots of shade and a large, good size playground. Close to shops for coffee or a meal.

Like all parks along the beach on the Gold Cost, this s a nice area with BBQ's, seating, lovely lawns and playgrounds for kids and families to have a lovely day. Having Broadbeach right there is also a bonus.

My experience at Pratten Park was nothing short of wonderful. It's a hidden gem in our city, offering a peaceful and rejuvenating environment for everyone to enjoy. I highly recommend visiting Pratten Park and taking advantage of all the amenities it has to offer.

Lovely clean park which stretches for quite a way, offering an off leash and unfenced dog area, a children's playground, toilet facilities and access to the beachfront from several locations. Parking is available on the adjacent road, although it gets quite full quite quickly, and the off leash dog area is clearly marked, with other areas including the beach requiring dogs on leash.

I took my grandson to play at the park and we also went to the beach for a walk. The park is amazing with benches and a beautiful playground for little ones. The train ride was excellent my grandson did not want to get off it loved ❀ it. A great place to take children.

Great, large park for kids. Lots of different things (swings, slides, climbing, and general playing) for kids of all ages and sizes and abilities. Even has large wide gates for wheelchair access and also swings and flying foxes for kids who need a bit more support and assistance. Lots of open space and rest spots for parents too. Parking is not too bad either.

Gidday!🀠We strolled through this large foreshore family-friendly park located at Broadbeach GC, Qld, on our way to the Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club to meet up with friends for coffee. For a walk in the white sand, or dip your feet in the surf, it's just a hop, skip, and a jump! to the beautiful Pacific Ocean from the park. There are walkways to the beach. And on the way you may spot the odd bush turkey nesting in the bushes between the park and the beach. Enjoy!😁

It is a good place for dogs, it connects to the beach with shallow seas, my dog loves it. Notice, you have to keep the dog on a leash, and if the safe guard is working, you cannot walk close to the swim area, they will flag the swim area, please keep out if you're walking or playing with your dog.

Spent part of Xmas day here with family. Pitched up a couple gazebos and let the kids run free. There were 2x gated parks near by to easily keep an eye on them. The beach was a stones throw away. No complaints

Awesome park for barbeques, picnics and playtime for the kids. The best part is the magnificent beach behind the park which is patrolled by Surf Lifesavers in summer. Swim between the flags and don't forget to slip slop slap.

It is a busy park and parking is difficult to find. So be early! The surf club and park is fun and kod friendly. Lots of families out and its a relaxing, fun day out with the kids.

Great place for the kids to unwind and let off some steam. There were lots of people there enjoying it, but there was plenty to do and we did not have to wait too long before the grandchildren could go on things. We returned on three different times. The hardest part was finding parking.

  • 3/5 Adrian S. 3 years ago on Google
This is a great safe and really enjoyable place to go with little ones. Everything is clean and well maintained as far as the play thing but when it came to the toilets, they were not maintained. They stank and unusable at least on the day we went. May have just been like that on the day. I'd like to think so but if we go again and it is still bad, I will give it a really big Razz for sure!

Patten Park is one of the more family friendly areas along the Gold Coast sretches of beach. It offers a playground for smaller children, boulevard for running and riding, expanses of beach for recreational activity and a life guard monitored swimming beach.(swim between the flags). There is a public toilet, picnic areas and shower for when you come in off the sand and need to clean off. Nearby shops are within walking distance. On a busy day, or around school drop off/pickup, it can be a little hectic, but nothing too crazy. Parking is usually pretty good in and around the immediate area.
