This is a wonderful park along the esplanade next to the ocean. There are plenty of places to relax and take in the view and the fresh sea air without having to get a grain of sand on you. Lots of shops opposite to grab something to eat or drink.

Pretty little park by the sea and next door to the coolangatta surf club. Green grass and shady areas to lie on and some tables and seats located near the surf club coffee and snack kiosk. Great sea views and close to coolangatta town and shops.

I was saddened by what I saw. There were homeless people everywhere. With trolleys holding their belongings. One woman looked not well mentally showing agitation and sunburn. She would belong in aged care getting food , showers and a bed. I wonder if orange sky visits them or Rosie's. I hope that a government body can check these poor people. Not interrogate them.

I love this place, by the beach. And it was a great area for for the main stage and the dance floor, during the recent Cooly Rocks On ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘

Lovely park, schools were having activities there and I also took a photo of local surfer Michael Peterson's beautiful monument

I love coming to Coolangatta and getting into the surf to cool down on a hot day. It's a lovely beach, flat and wide with good clean, squeaky sand. It caters for surfers, wind surfers, body boarders, surf skiis and swimmers alike. Life guards are always on duty during daylight hours and you are spoilt for choice when you want something to eat or drink with all the outlets along the strip. Come down and have a holiday!

A beautiful park with the view of cristal clear ocean. The ocean is deep blue in this section , which looks fantastic especially in sunny day. The skyscrapers of Surfers Paradise is visible from here. The park is covered with soft green grass. It has bike track, kids playground. There are plenty of free parking alongside the park. A big shopping centre is just opposite of the park, which is very convenient for the visitors.

We met with family for our daughters first birthday party. It was sadly quite off putting as we planned to use the covered area however there were men sleeping on the floor (sadly seemed homeless) however the breeze wafted strong urine smells and they were all smoking joints which also wafted into our kids party. It was like eating in a public toilet. Hopefully someone can clean the place up and move the druggies along. It ruined our vibe today and we wonโ€™t make the journey to Coolangatta again.

Went to see new years eve fireworks. Everyone had a good time. Lots of space to set up a picnic blanket. Great for kids.

Excellent walk around the coast. You can walk for miles if you wish. Was very windy when we were there. But still thoroughly enjoyed the walk.

Lovely beachfront park perfect for walks and picnics. Bbq facilities and sheltered areas available. Close to many food outlets and The Strand shopping mall. Dog friendly. Playground and rest rooms available. Often hosts music events and markets.

The park location is awesome - right next to the ocean beach. The park itself however could benefit from more shaded areas. For example, there are a lot of benches there but they are all in the sun, which is not very useful, especially in summer. There is also a Cafe which strangely closes at like 2pm. Are people not hungry after 2pm? Overall, very good park, worth stopping by on the way to the beach...

What a beautiful spot! Amazing views of the ocean, with a large grassy area and wide footpaths to make this an ideal spot for activities. A couple of playgrounds, lots of seating, picnic areas and a decent amount of parking make Queen Elizabeth Park one of the nicest Iโ€™ve been to. Shops are close by with plenty of choices. To top it off Coolangatta has some of the best beaches.

Quintissential seaside park on the esplenade. Plenty of seating, shqde.from the pine trees, and some bbq's, beach access.with showers. Kids park is decent. Adjoins surf club and there is a cafe on their wall. Parking in the area can br difficult though.
