I spent a couple weeks in this camping ground with my van. The place is so blissful. Plenty of space to have your privacy and you can also swim in the river. John and Maria are amazing hosts. We had a few miserable days of rain and they decided to prepare breakfast for everyone. That’s such a kind gesture. Love this campground! It feels like home

I love this small Hinterland town not far from the Gold Coast. The Showground is good for a night or more, clean and easy access. Try the sites at the river if free, great during the week. Very popular during school holidays. From here visit Tambourine Mountain and Lamington N P and start your day visiting Cafe Metz and the Visitor Centre. Very friendly staff and piles of free brochures to plan your day trips and holidays in Queensland.

Loved this place. Camped down near the creek. Sites with and without tree cover. Sites are flat and some with grass. Powered sites on showing are grassy. Toilets and showers are clean but aged. Lovely helpful caretakers. Reat large camp kitchen. Food works down the road is great for groceries. Lots of small businesses to support. $11 pp per night unpowered.Great walks at Tamborine, Binna Burra and O"Riellys.

New managers doing a great job, you still need to stick to the rules, however it's the way they are enforced which makes a pleasant stay. Beautiful surroundings and Canungra township within walking distance.

Onsite managers super kind and helped find us a spot at short notice. Great place to pitch up and enjoy the pub and cafe's in town. Easy walk to everything.

We passed by on a Sunday morning on the way to Lamington National Park and caught an open market selling coffee, local foods, arts and crafts, bric brac and even antique cars. There was a kiddies jumpy castle and petting farm. Although we didn’t buy anything it was nice to walk around the open field.

I love this place. Must bring the family to camp. Shallow running water for kids, everyone was so friendly, stars were so bright and area so serene.

Just stayed 3 nights here. The camp kitchen wasn't cleaned the whole time, rubbish bins weren't emptied and the tap near my site leaked...so I was constantly in mud. Usually love this place, but it seemed like it was just too crowded.

This was a perfect spot for me to camp on my own in a swag while visiting family nearby. The unpowered sites vary from frassy to gravel. Facilities are mostly clean, but stink a bit. The $1 showers cost $1.40 paying by card for 3 minutes. If travelling alone it's $15 per night. Travelling with two would be double that and for that price I'd expect better facilities. All in all a good stay for what I needed.
