Beautiful Lord Ganesha South Indian Temple with amazing architectural details, located in McLean, just an hour drive from Brisbane. One of the most authentic, freshly prepared south Indian food experience too. Its served at the temple kitchen / canteen every Saturday & Sunday till 1 pm at affordable prices. Medu vada @$1 each was an absolute treat with piping hot chai.

I only visited externally but it's a beautiful building, the particular colour made me think of butter! There is reasonable onsite parking but this will probably be overstretched if services are on. There is a wheelchair accessible ramp from the parking area but wheelchair users are asked to "remove their footwear" which could be challenging for some.

Even though bit outside the city, itโ€™s a nice place mostly calm to pray and relax except on festivals. Saturday and Sunday you may buy breakfast. Lot of peacocks particularly in rainy days

เค“เคฎเฅ เค—เค‚ เค—เคฃเคชเคคเคฏเฅ‡ เคจเคฎเคƒเฅค Its always a great pleasure to visit this temple. This Ganapati temple is a Beautiful architecture situated away from the urban area. It is a like a spiritual place that gives peace of mind. You will get authentic Indian vegetarian food at a very reasonable price! Don't forget to watch the beautiful peacocks! Earlier they used to wonder around freely but now they are all inside a spacious cage.

This place is just wonderful - peaceful chanting and music is very enlightening! The temple itself looks so very beautiful from the outside as well as the inside (no photos allowed inside to respect deities!) Totally worth a visit โฃ๏ธโฃ๏ธโฃ๏ธ

The temple is in nice location with enough parking inside compound and some in roadside. Well maintained with lots of Hindu volunteers who are very kind and compassionate. There is a canteen on the side run by volunteers, devotees are welcome to donate products like rice, ghee, sugar etc

Went to this temple for a prayer Upon entry the table had old rice and curry left open in a pot which looked unhygienic and dirty. In order to pray, one is expected to first make a payment. Nothing holy or genuine about this place. It is actually a money making farce. The priest was absolute rude and misogynistic but only too happy to hold out his hand for money. He couldnโ€™t speak a word of English but was abusive in his vernacular which we understood all too well. Screamed and yelled at female devotees. This is not what the Hindu religion is about Itโ€™s obvious the priests thinks that they are dealing with masses in India who allow such abuse. The priest should be booked back from where he came Disgusting behavior from a so called holy man.

Very nice temple inside. ๐Ÿ›‘Release the peacocks ๐Ÿ›‘ or give them better conditions to roam around since they are already here. No animal/ bird deserves it. Maybe it be elephants or birds or some other animal. They don't belong in temples!

A very peaceful place inside and around the temple. The architecture of the building was superb. Felt like we were back home. The interior is also very colourful and unique. Very detailed structuring inside as well. The chanting was very nice. We also bought lunch from here and it was very tasty and freshly made in their kitchen. The prices for the food items are also reasonable. Quite busy so parking was a bit of a problem.

Sri Selva Vinayakar Kovil in Brisbane is a beautiful and serene place of worship. The intricate architecture and vibrant colors create a truly mesmerizing ambiance. The temple staff are warm and welcoming, providing insights into the cultural significance of the rituals. I attended a traditional ceremony, and it was a deeply spiritual experience. The prayers and chanting filled the air with positivity. Whether you're a devotee or simply curious about different cultures, a visit to Sri Selva Vinayakar Kovil is a must. I felt a sense of peace and harmony that stayed with me long after my visit. Highly recommended!

This temple had some of the most beautiful art Iโ€™ve ever seen. The people working there were so kind, and the volunteers were great as well. The food was yummy and was made well, while the inside was filled with absolutely magnificent sculptures of gods. 5 stars, would totally recommend for a good praying area.

Was amazing and peaceful place. We used to bvist twice a month. Special on Saturday morning, it took 1 hour from North to South, but we enjoyed the long drive. Must take breakfast or lunch: suggestions is Aloo puri or Dosha. My partner loves to buy faluda. If you are a big fan of sweets, you must go with boondi laddu as well as muruku.
