A hidden gem in the Gold Coast. A very clean, modern and comfortable place. Close to many nice cafes, bars and restaurants. Plus easy access to the beach. Quiet despite its closeness to the highway. It was bonus that the bed was comfortable and the curtains were blockout, which meant plenty of good sleep. Owners very friendly and accommodating.

What a gem of a hotel!! Our room was super clean and spacious with all the amenities you could ask for. Lovely outdoor space with great pool. Owners were really friendly and helpful. We would 100% recommend this hotel. Thank you again for a great stay 🙂

We were traveling through from Sydney to Hervey Bay and found this little gem of a place. Communication with Caroline was amazing and she responded to our email very quickly. Due to late arrival, detailed information was given about key collection. Due to this our arrival and collection of keys and codes were perfect. We were traveling with my mum from the uk so had booked two rooms. I always get worried when staying at Motels as I'm a little OCD and also a housekeeper for a high end company on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, but i was not disappointed, 100% impressed at the cleanliness and attention to detail the Blue Heron offered. Bed was very comfortable and we all slept like a baby. Would defo consider stay here again. Thank you Michelle & Family x

I regret to say, due to the stigma of motels I had never stayed in one prior to the Blue Heron. However we had a quick night away for a wedding and this was in a great spot for it. I am happy to say it has completely changed my view of motels. It was super adorable, very clean and in a great spot. Walking distance to beach, quiet even though on main highway and great price. Would 100% recommend for any trips where you will be out and about and just need a place to rest your head.

We were able to check in early as the room was ready, perfect after a red eye from Perth. Owners very nice and accommodating. Perfect small boutique motel. Very clean and modern.

It had great reviews and it’s a huge relief to arrive and know it matches! The lady at check in was warm and kind and showed me to our room and the man at check out was friendly and kind to the children too. The room was impeccably clean, fresh and comfortable, with nicely made beds and we felt safe and secure. Great location, hardly any road noise despite being so close to the highway and the kids enjoyed an afternoon dip in the pool even though it was a bit cool!

I have to stay at the Gold Coast fairly regularly for work. I was very comfortable at the Blue Heron Hotel and will certainly stay again in the future. Great price and very comfortable. The room has everything you need for comfort. A ceiling fan, reverse cycle air conditioning, extra blankets and pillows are available. There’s wifi and Netflix available as well as tea and coffee making amenities.

My partner and I have had an amazing time at Blue Heron. The apartment was immaculate and the staff are lovely. The location is second to none as you are right in the middle of all the shops and cafes, and only a short stroll to the beach. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!! 😊

What a fantastic place to stay, the rooms are lovely, spotlessly clean, fresh white sheets and all you could possibly need. A lovely clean pool and bbq area. Good location not far to the action and a short walk to the beach. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend. We will be back if up this way again. Thank you.

Booked last minute for 3 nights & so glad I found this gem. Despite being close to the highway the location was super quiet & a short walk to the beach. Room was immaculate & tastefully decorated; comfy bed; coffee machine a bonus. Staff super friendly & helpful; definitely recommend Blue Heron & will stay here again.

Some friends and I stayed at the Blue Heron while visiting the Gold Coast for an engagement party. The staff were amazing and the rooms were perfect everything you could need the hotel is a 5 min walk to the beach and they even have a little coffee van out front

Beautiful little motel in a convenient location. Short stroll to the beautiful beach and just a short drive to the main action. The room we stayed in was extremely clean and tidy, and very comfortable. I definitely recommend booking a stay here.

This is the second time we have stayed here and in the same room both times. Everything about this motel is fabulous, beautiful clean rooms, fabulous pool, BBQ, short walk to the beach and many eateries very close by. The staff are very helpful and we'll definately be back again.

We’ve just spent 5 nts at The Blue Heron. Gorgeous little motel. Great location, Woolies, cafes, restaurants close by. On the bus route. Was not noisy at all considering it’s on GC HWY. Pool was a bonus as the beach was very windy. Will definitely stay again. 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼

Every time we come to the Gold Coast, this is our preferred place to stay. It has everything we need and the location is just so convenient. Rooms are clean and comfortable and overall excellent value for money. We can highly recommend this place.

First and foremost, Damien on the front counter was polite, cheerful and happy to organise a late check out for me. He obviously takes pride in the hotel as it was clean, tidy and well presented. Bed was comfortable and the room suited for an overnight stay. A bonus is the coffee van that opens super early in the morning - right in the hotel car park. Great coffee, the hotel is also a short walk from a good choice of restaurant's.

A stunning little motel with everything you need and very affordable! The only downside was kids screaming in the pool very early in the morning it would’ve been helpful if staff told them to keep it down. The decor and rooms are beautiful, good internet and very clean! I will definitely stay again :) also walking distance to a great beach

Stayed here with my partner, it was amazing! Probably one of the best places, if not the best I’ve stayed at. Really good price point, lovely room. Super quiet & staff are so friendly! I loved the little touches around the room, like the products in the shower - which are really nice quality & there’s plenty to go around! I loved how clean & modern everything was. I really appreciated their environmentally conscious approach, by not having rooms/linen done everyday. I think it’s just overkill to have it done everyday. Made me really happy to see a motel doing this & doing their part! Beds are really comfortable. Love the pop of colours in the room aswell. You get a fridge, toaster, heaps of cutlery, plates & cups etc. Plus a coffee machine, kettle. You can’t go wrong! It’s super close to everything, while still feeling like you have that space out of the hustle & bustle. The way it’s been set up makes you feel secluded, as you’re behind a secure area during the night. That also helps immensely with not even realising you’re right next to a main road. You can also book into get massages too in the spa part next to the motel (we didn’t as we didn’t have enough time unfortunately but will next time we’re here!). Strongly recommend this place! It’s fantastic & at a really good price point.

What a fabulous find! Beautifully renovated, exceptional service and great location!! Walking distance to nobby beach restaurants, mermaid flagged beachfront and mermaid village shops. Lovely coffee caravan with oatly milk (!!) Out front on the weekend. It's the convenience of a motel with added taste and charm!

Our room was modern, clean ad quiet with microwave, toaster and coffee machine. Great pool for kids! Would definitely stay again.

Had a beautiful stay at Blue Heron! Was here for one night in GC and mermaid beach is such a cool spot outside of the busier areas. Stunning motel with botanical vibes and gorgeous aesthetic throughout, bright and so clean. Room had everything I needed and everything was super clean and modern. Caroline on reception was super helpful and welcoming! Will definitely come back for summer!

You can tell the owners have put so much hard work into the recent renovations. The place was so clean, modern and trendy. We booked the family room. The styling was so cute. The bathroom was extremely clean and fresh. I can’t wait to stay again and stay for longer. The outdoor area looked so nice to use on an evening after tucking the kids into bed. Oh, and the icing on the cake is the amazing Hai Coffee Van that is parked out the front. Amazing accommodation guys. Truly so good.

Location was a few minutes walk to the beach. The rooms where decorated beautifully and modern. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was huge. Lovely thoughts for guests with things like bottled water, kettle, microwave, toaster and even a nespresso machine with pods provided. There was plates, bowls, spoons,mugs and glasses provided. The wardrobe was huge to fit all your belongings in. The pool area is surrounded by tropical plants which made it feel like an oasis.staff are friendly and helpful.

My wife and I both in our late 70s arrived today from Cofts Harbour The lady who checked us in her name Carolyn has such a beautiful presence and nothing was a problem to her she arranged for us to have a room which was very close to our car. What a fabulous little gem! In a great spot, clean, perfect for my short stop over (wished I’d had more time to try out the funky lagoon pool though ….☺️). Very friendly staff and a convenient little coffe cart out the front in the morning🤗! Would definitely recommend this place for accommodation on the Gold Coast.

So close to the beach! Really friendly staff with great suggestions on where to go locally. Clean modern room, lots of parking. Perfect little stop for one night, wish we could have stayed longer! No view from the room but we only used it to sleep, huge shower with modern facilities.

We loved our stay at Blue Heron Motel. Caroline who checked us in was very hospitable, friendly and always happy to help. Really nice and relaxed outdoor area by the pool. The motel offers modern and clean facilities and it’s in a great location a close walk to shops and the beach. We will likely be back here next time we’re in the GC.
