Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Ken, one of the member of The Star club and I would like to lodge a formal compliant regarding the rude service I received by one of hotel front office staff over the phone hotel reservation on 10/09/2018 at 11.37am. I would like to make a hotel reservation in The Star Gold Coast and The star Sydney on 13/10/2018- 19/10/2018 for which I called hotel front office The Star Gold Coast to getting more information. The female staff told me they don’t have any complimentary room available in Gold coast and Sydney between the period even I don’t requested I like to get complimentary room. I only need to make a hotel reservation for my family. I was trying to ask “ can i talk with your manager?” when she has begun impatient. However, she denied to send her manager and also denied to give me her name as well . The most rude behavior is she said: “ If you want to make a complaint, you can call this number again.” Then she hang up the phone without any apology.As a 5 star hotel, the good trained staff is necessary for your company reputations, And also the well trained staff responsibility is up selling the room not treat the customer by inappropriate behaviour and not kick the customer out. I hope that this letter explains my feelings and disappointment for the rude and unacceptable service. I would not like this to happens to me or any other customer again. We celebrated our teams christmas party at The Star Event centre. The Theme was "Not So Silent Night" and it was outstanding and magical entering the room. The entire room was festive with a definite sense of elegance. Our team at Mega Thing said it was one of the best work parties they have ever been to. The Table Service was superb and very attentive. Please pass on the team member who looked after our team at table 65! The entertainment music was perfect and completed the feel of such a special night out. Thank you ! Can highly recommend! Your Mega Thing Team! :-)

The event centre was amazing. Very well planned out and a little area outdoor. Need to consider moving the bar area further down and opening both doors for larger groups next time.

Went the for a work do. Covid table service was excellent, entertainment was great. Food was unique but tasty

Lovely venue but unfortunately the layout for the conference created bottlenecks, long queues for refreshments, seating issues and overworked staff. Such friendly and hardworking staff, who seem to be doing the best they can despite some poor planning. Special shout out to waiter Chris who went above and beyond for table guests throughout our conference party.

A big space for large groups, food and drinks were excellent decor can be chosen to your liking
