$20 for a burnt croissant and an ok coffee. Many tables were still uncleared from previous patrons while two staff watched a third mop the kitchen floor. Another table was held to the wall with duct tape that looked like it had been there for a long time. Staff were friendly enough but this is the worst airport cafe I have been to... possibly ever.

Disgusting, rude staff, particularly one woman who has not even one ounce of decency. Tried ordering a coffee, didn't want to make it so she said no. Then all the staff were talking to each other and made coffees for themselves. She then comes up to us and asks us to leave because we are not "paying customers". Absolute trash. Have reported this incident to airport management who apologised profusely and are investigating.

Steak sandwich was delicious, tender and caramelised. Seafood basket was crispy and lightly salted. Food came out relatively quick. Dined around lunchtime, during the school holiday.

This is the worst cafe I have ever been to. My iced long black was warm and my friends coffee was bitter. Nothing gluten free and cant even order a hash brown individually. Tried getting it on the side of my friends banana bread but was still told no. I had low expectations for airport food and even those weren’t met

Solid steak sandwich and service. Woman with short hair and glasses (Sarah?) very attentive, engaging and on top of everything here. Wish she worked at my local! Cheers.

My girlfriend ordered gluten free banana bread but was given normal banana bread. She has celiac disease and now will have horrible symptoms that last for months. The staff barely even apologised when she brought the bread back. If you are celiac I would not recommend.

Ordered the calamari. Food was pleasantly quick. As was quickly discovered, was the result of thoroughly careless preparation and heinously small serving. Got 5 calamari overall for $11.50. Would NOT go back

Just a review to appreciate the woman working tonight. Brunette, I think she was a manager. After a few hours and cancelled flights I was pretty over it. She was so so nice, friendliest person ever. Thanks so much

Great little cafe with lots of food and drink choices as well as some private seating just for cafe guests which was great since it was so busy when we came today. Would recommend this one right next to gates 5 and 6. Great views of the runway and planes coming and going too if you like that sort of thing. Worth a visit

If you love coffee, don't try this place at all. The photo looks great, but that's it . Can't judge a book by its cover can we? 😅

Soy latte ok. My $18 avocado on toast though was so underwhelming, I was speechless when the waiter dropped it off.

Went there at 7pm for coffee and food to be told that the coffee machine was closed. Wth, 7pm. We also ordered a sandwich which wasn’t cut in half. How hard can it be to cut a sandwich. But they had six staff on. Hey guys, here’s an idea, have less staff, then you can stay open for the traffic that pays your bills. No wonder the reviews and that the coffee shop next door was pumping and alot more keen to serve the traffic.

Walked in to order a drink and the tables are filthy with food all over them and the floor. Walked straight out. Time to lift your hygiene. If I could give it a zero I would. Just because you have a captive audience doesn’t mean you can treat your patrons with a dirty place.

Besides the fact the eggs and yoghurt cost 36 dollars it tasted really quite good. Not much atmosphere but hey it's n airport.

Worst most stale ham cheese tomato sandwich ever. Beers on tap gone. Service took 15minutes to be served then the poor untrained girl took another 5 to take an order. Most uncomfortable terrible atmosphere in the airport. Will not be back ever and I travel there regularly. Serious guys you need to refurb, put food control quality in place and train your staff. Terrible.

Slim pickings of food outlets currently at Coolangatta Airport mean that places like this still have a queue of people despite having overpriced lacklustre food and coffee. It was $28 for the “Smashed avocado with poached eggs” and a regular coffee. Tasted dismal.

Ordered coffee here while waiting to board a flight and a banana bread. The service was ok, I haven’t tried the food but it doesn’t look that appealing to be honest. The sandwiches and cold food sitting in the window, prob won’t be in a hurry to eat here. It’s quite cramped for seating (hence 3 stars) I sat behind the counter on the opposite side of the cafe. But the coffee was not bad. Service was a little slowish.

I bought myself an Eggs Benedict and a small cappuccino. I was a bit hesitant when I saw the low reviews but I was pleasantly surprised with my meal. The food and coffee were great and they had speedy service. Pretty cheap, considering airport prices. Would recommend.

Absolutely untimely service and such an overpriced coffee. Unenthusiastic staff. Waited for 15 mins for a takeaway coffee and still did not get served. Had to forgo it to board my flight.

Calamari Tappas served quick and tasted good. Need more selections of IPAs

would give zero if possible - Absolute joke of a cafe - prices on the board aren't the actual prices - you need a magnifying glass to see the sneaky add ons for takew away cups etc - the girl at the till gave me attitude for asking to get my coffee from the window that i was sat near, instead of the one she wanted me to collect from which was inconvenient for no reason, unfortunately GC airport has very little choice and this business will continue to pull their patrons pants down for many years to come!

POOR SERVICE AND POOR QUALITY FOOD! DO NOT RECOMMEND! I was served by very disinterested and unenthusiastic staff. I bought a glass of red wine and a toasted schnitzel wrap. Obviously, I was sitting in as they served me a glass of red wine. I sat down and noticed people around me who sat after me, had table numbers and were getting their food. Fifteen minutes later I asked about my wrap and they pointed at it sitting on the counter. They said they'd called my name, even though they should've given me a table number and served it to my table - unfair! The wrap was stone cold and I asked them to reheat it. When I got it 5 minutes later it was piping hot but very bland and unenjoyable. The schnitzel crumbing was soggy, the few bits of spinach were off and the tiny bits of cheese I could hardly taste. I was very disappointed with my experience, particularly as I only had 5 minutes to eat it. The only good thing about dining here was the wine. Also, no water was served. I don't understand how you can manage to serve a poor quality wrap as it's so easy to fill it with delicious ingredients and toast it. I will never go back and I don't recommend this place. Thanks for nothing.

Food was fine but service was lacking. Watched 2 tables get the wrong order and 1 was refunded their money. We had an order missed from our table of 4 and there were barley any patrons in the restaurant. Staff need to slow down and take a bit of time to ensure orders are correct and listen to their customers.

Good quality coffee, but my extra shot latte felt like half strength in Melbourne. I wanted strong coffee and that is not what I was given.

The lady behind the checkout was lovely but the baristas kept making coffees for the staff of the airport without them being in queue. Made it impossible to gauge how long getting a coffee would take. Wasted $20 on coffees we couldn’t drink before flight called. (Yes we left plenty of time).
