“Cheap as chips” I guess Currumbin RSL hasn’t heard the saying. The kids cheesy cheese burger meal ($17 for a cheeseburger and chips) gets more chips than an adult meal ($21 for an Angus beef burger and chips). The other let down is ~75% of staff we wearing their masks below their nose or so poorly fitted you can fully see their nose and mouth. Why bother wearing a mask at all? There was no enforcement of customers to wear masks while walking around or waiting in lines. Otherwise a nice enough facility and meals were well made.

Really disappointing. What used to be a 5 star club has quickly gone done to a 2 star club. Two weeks ago we attended for curry night, we ordered 1 curry and 1 pizza. The curry came super fast, and the pizza 26 minutes later. We went Friday night just gone, we were seated promptly and ordered 6 drinks right away. We checked on the drinks after 15 minutes, then again after 25 minutes, and our server, Robin, very firmly told us to be patient. After 40 minutes I took it upon myself to go to the bar and check on them, only to be told they didn’t have a drink order for us. They arrived shortly after - 45 minutes after ordering them. An apology from Robin or the bar manager would have been nice and would have gone a long way. Tonight we went again, ordering my own drink at the bar took 15 minutes and then one of the meals didn’t show up. I like the club and want to support them, but clearly they are going through some issues. I have been 4 times in three weeks and had an issue each time (but I’ve never had any issues in the past).

Disappointed with the service tonight considering I'm a member. Staff were friendly however need to pay attention to detail. Lots of staff running around and not clearing tables. Desserts were ordered and delivered and server left quickly without picking up finished plates. Had to call another server to clear table to make room. Noticed staff were too busy talking amongst themselves and not really providing customer service. Lovely decor and food was average. Ordered the Garlic Prawns and it was good - presentation and serving portion was good size and I ordered a small size. Mom ordered Soup of the Day and that too was good in presentation, portion size and taste. The Flash Fisherman's Basket was not so good. Portion size was very small for the price and was not good in presentation or taste. Let's hope our next visit will be much improved.

Fantastic RSL food is good Ice cream is very very good... Ug yum yum the festival was ok. The venue was excellent.

Stopped in for lunch with my partners granddad. We ordered the fish and chips, chicken schnitzel, roast of the day and side salad. The fish and chips and the roast of the day were the good orders, the schnitzel was not. Can recommend the Diane sauce, gravy and crispy chips though

So impressed by this place, absolute gem inside, modern Miami inspired decor. Great spot by the creek and fantastic service. There would have been over 200 people at Wednesday lunch today and we waited only 10 minutes for food. Great seafod

The quality of the meals here is first class. The pork belly in tamarind caramel a clear standout. Best club food on the GC👌

Lovely Atmosphere, had a band playing last night. The staff always helpful. Pizza was great and did Enjoy a CC and dry out on the back deck.

Food was delicious, service was terrible. Table of 6 ordered all the steak specials at the same time, 2 people had their meals and finished eating before the other 4 had even came out. One of the meals was as incorrect however they insisted that is what we ordered. Manager was suppose to come and see us and never arrived. Food was great however customer service or lack of could definitely do with some help.

Spent my half day there , I just like the ambience and choices of seating. High chair , table dining chair, indoors , ourdoors. Beautiful view of the creek , watching people run along the creek , kayaking and swims. Food and drinks was delicious and this place was busy with lots of table booked or reserved.

What an oasis! After flying in from Adelaide we arrived at Currumbin RSL earlier than expected for our booking. The reception we received was excellent, showing us to a freshly made up table, with a stunning view across the water. The decor is stunning, very relaxing after a stressful flight, and immaculately clean. Staff were superbly attentive with exceptional manners, and on point with dietary requirements. Very accommodating. The food was exceptional. And I can’t say that often as a coeliac. Highly recommend the gluten free salt and pepper calamari - exceptional, if being gluten free is your way of life. Roasted veggies were perfect. Sorry to have not had longer that day but we will be returning on any return visits to the Gold Coast. Couldn’t recommend this venue enough. Was a stunning start to our short break.

We celebrated my husband’s 80 th birthday on Saturday 1/7/23, on the deck. I was thrilled with the excellent service given to us both before the event by Kayla and on the day by all staff. Our guests were highly impressed with the venue and the quality of the beautifully presented food. We felt you went out of your way to make the day successful and memorable for us all. Thank you so much, we will certainly make sure we recommend the Currumbin RSL to all our friends and family.

Had a lovely dinner at Currumbin RSL accompanied by the most delicious pina coladas. We were so happy with our service Friday night, we ended up with smaller group and we’re given an more intimate table, we were allowed to bring along homemade birthday cakes which was a lovely touch and had the most delicious food! I really enjoyed that the roast came in two different sizes so no food was wasted! Would highly recommend and go back again

Always pleasant to spend a few unhurried hours at this Sanctuary. I so enjoy bringing my 20 month old granddaughter here that I bought a years membership.

This RSL is so lovely ☺️ the staff are friendly , great service .. I had my birthday dinner there I got the entree size pork belly with slaw had lime n sauce on the side absolutely 💯 delicious and good size servings 🤤 also pizza 🍕 made there fresh n you can take leftovers home 🏡 the staff went out of there way to make a birthday piece of cake with flowers chocolates n strawberries 🍓 felt very spoilt n just a lovely ambiance sitting outside on the back deck, looking over the Currumbin creek, so pretty to visit , right on dusk love the monument they have set up for the diggers n decor inside n out is so lovely 🥰 worth a visit

Yes we did have lunch last Friday. All the meals were really good. The service by Alley was quick and friendly. She is a pleasure to deal with. We also went into the poker machine room and ran into Michelle who is a credit to the RSL. She is so kind and caring and always makes us feel special. Of course we ran into the usual suspects - Sharon, Lily, Paul, Sally (with the long hair), Anita and Shane. All exceptional and valuable staff members. Before I go I need to compliment Deon and Rachel from bingo. Always a pleasure to deal with them and they run bingo exceptionally well. Good job all!! Makes us want to come back.

We pre-booked our table online for dinner on New Years Day. We had our grand daughter with us so dinner was early at 5pm. The RSL was clean and tidy with plenty of staff around. Table service made ordering very easy. Drinks were very quick to arrive at the table and the food wasn't far behind. Decided to join as a member due to the service. Would recommend a visit or 5.

Alley's Restaurant looked like it had been newly renovated. Spacious and bright. The staff were very helpful and efficient. The steak was very good and my favourite. Generous food portions overall.

The service was very good and staff were very accommodating. Some of our guests meals though weren’t up to scratch. One of the dishes the lime wedge was dry and the dish was very tasty. The steaks were very good as was the crab ravioli. Would like to see more starters available instead of just chips.

Awesome place to eat out. The deck area has a spectacular view over the river. We always take our family there, when they visit.

First time visit on a Sunday afternoon for dinner , the customer service was excellent great staff enjoyed the meal and the dessert was next level.

Wonderful staff providing exceptional table service today (food orders and drinks), so very impressed. The interior is really comfortable. Advise to book due to popularity. Lucky we were early today. Will definitely revisit and love the creek views too. Staff should be applauded. Food was of good quality and the "small serve" of roast of the day was ample as a meal.

Food was delicious however meals for 13 of us came out randomly. 2 pizzas came out with entrees, plate of chips came after we all finished eating. Drinks took ages. Very disorganised.

Went for steak night and trivia and was pleasantly surprised. Steak was perfectly cooked and very flavourful, with chips, salad and sauce on the side. Trivia was a blast as well, definitely coming back for more.

Water views from the newly refurbished deck is a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. The new Island bar looks the part , with a range of Craft beers mixed in with the usual stuff . Good choice of food & reasonably priced. We shared the 3 dip plate & can recommend to enjoy with your drinks . Their version of Salt & Pepper Calamari was excellent, as were all the other dishes we had while enjoying the views over Currumbin Creek. Very enjoyable afternoon and I can certainly recommend. We will definitely be back. The service we had from, ( in particular Kelsey , who took our photos, took our Order , poured my beer & could be seen later using the Coffee machine was a gem ), and all the staff couldn't be faulted . Today we visited the Currumbin RSL and had a wonderful time. From walking in the front door the staff, the food, the music, everything was fantastic!!! We couldn’t rate them any higher!! It’s a beautiful setting, nice and clean, such a wonderful place to visit and although we live over two hours away we’ve definitely marked it for a place to visit often. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and we will definitely be seeing you soon. Congratulations on hosting such a beautiful, well respected establishment.

Pretty good, given CV restrictions were being enforced. Staff were responsible, friendly and happy in their serving. The food was reasonable and the coffee was great! Thanks to the Currumbin RSL.
