Delicious authentic Thai food. The noodle soup was excellent. We went into restaurant hoping to dine in at around 2:50, however they were no longer taking orders as they closed at 3:00 and so we had to get takeaway instead. Just another annoying thing as they were technically still open for dining in, hence the 4 star rating.

Umm… very sweet on every dish… too much sugar?????? Chilli basil was nice but beef tasted like rubber and no flavor as i assume they would have soaked in baking soda…

Bbq beef salad is tough, just a bit slow for the food to come. But overall is Very Tasty.

Came here per chance. Nice, pleasant looking restaurant. Friendly service. Good lunch specials. Kitchen able to cater to vegetarian options in their sauces. Would definitely come here again to try their vegetarian tom yum noodle soup. Covid protocols followed. Would come again.

This place is absolutely awesome. The service was great and the food was delicious! We had the BBQ duck, the soft shell crab, prawn skewers and prawn tum yum soup and everything was amazing. Also the roti with peanut sauce! Highly recommend this place.

The service was absolutely ridiculous. Another family who had arrived after us had finished their meals before we even received our food. By the time our food had come, my kids were starving. At least the food was very good. I highly recommend getting the food delivered.

Love the Thai food here, the taste is strong, we order the chilli soup and ask for “hot” one, it’s really strong 😂 The fried rice is really nice, the other dishes used less sweet sauce n it’s close to the Thai food we ate in Thailand. the restaurant environment is clean and ok.

A month later🙂 I had Boat noodle $12.9 and Steamed Dim Sim $9.9 (homemade)😋 Dim Sim was very nice 😍 Noodle soup made me uplifted 💪🏻😁 I wanted to try Prawn cake but they didn’t have it today 😢 I need to come again and try it 😋😋😋 It’s my first visit for lunch 😋 I had Yen Ta Fo seafood $16.9 and mixed entree $10.9. I got there 2:30pm then they closed 3pm. I needed to rush to have them a little bit. It’s pink soup noodle 😳😳😳 It’s very interesting for me😁 It’s not spicy 😊I put some spicy vinegar (?) later, I liked it 🥰 It’s difficult to explain how it tasted like again 😅 I love to try the Thai street food 😁👍🏻 It’s so much fun trying food which I never had 🤩🤩🤩

We were with a group of 15 and all of our meals were sensational, extremely tasty. It's the second time we have been here and it hasn't disappointed.

Holidaying in the Gold Coast and found this place close to where we are staying. Food was fantastic as all 6 of us said its the best Thai we've eaten. Very generous on the food portions which is always a plus for me. Most of the family had to take food home as they couldn't finish it. Good service, they do takeaway as well.

A locals little secret. Book ahead on a weekend. Here’s why. Always consistently beautiful traditional yet humble Thai food. We were seated outside with a smile, because all the tables were taken. Food is always awesome. Despite being busy, super organised and though super busy, staff are friendly helpful and nice. The food is always fresh, and authentic. Wonderful little family business, who takes pride in every aspect of the business and shares their beautiful culture with us.

This Thai was grouse, and the best iv had on a while. The price and serving sizes were awesome. Authentic flavours and ingredients. There were just so many levels to theses meals, like the crispy chicken was so good, but then you dip in in the Thai sweet chilli sauce and the flavours explode in you mouth, even black to the basic coconut rice, it was just creamy and delicious.

Best Thai street food on the Gold Coast! If you're looking for the authentic flavours of Thai street food you will not be disappointed. Lucky Buddha Thai Restaurant is a fantastic place to savour authentic and delicious Thai street food. The restaurant is located in Mermaid Beach, on the Gold Coast Highway. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the service is fast and professional. The menu offers a wide range of dishes, from soups and salads to stir-fries and curries. The portions are ample and the prices are fair. I recommend the tom yum soup, the massaman beef and the pineapple fried rice. The food is fresh and tasty, with the perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty and spicy. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a modern decor and a lucky Buddha statue. It is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, so it can get crowded at peak times.

Yummy food with good portions. We ordered the crispy chicken and the Seafood Phat Pong Karee. It would have been amazing if they have a Crab meat Phat Pong Karee! Overall experience had been good. Spacious dining area and did not feel cramped. The staff were very friendly and we left the place very satisfied and full. One downside though… there are no desserts in the menu that’s why the 4 ⭐️ review.

What a great small restaurant experience!! Great food. Brought back very fond memories of my hometown. Every time I visit, I bring a lot of takeaway home. Please move or open another restaurant in Ballina, so we can eat there all the time 😍

The best pork larb on the coast, possibly anywhere. It really is sensational. All of the other dishes I've tried have been pretty good too but that larb is a star. Service is always friendly, the portions are generous and the price is great. Won me for life

Visiting out of town and took a chance at lucky Buddha. This is a beautiful clean and well hosted little restaurant. My children loved the steamed meatballs, mixed steam veggies and plain rice. Every dish came out fresh and hot. Large sized dishes and huge selection. I personally recommend this amazing place to everyone.

Had the red curry (hot) it was perfect. Lots of meat and such a beautiful sauce, spicy hot with a hint of sweet. Definitely return and recommend. Size portion med large for lunch. Price excellent rice included.

I am a loyal customer but today was the second day they have let me down… Ordered a full serve beef Fried Rice, but when I got there to pick it up, they had prepared a small size dish. The guy at the reception promptly realized the mistake and asked the cook to top it up. My food was topped up with rice only and I could literally count the tiny pieces of beef we got given with our food. I paid for a large portion of rice and veggies. Might need to try different restaurants moving forward.

Pity was disappointed….. Not really tasty and too sweet lots sugars! The temperature of the food not even hot and the chicken abit too old hard to chew with 😕
