I have tried Persian food in all the Persian and Afghan restaurants in South East Queensland. While all of them try to offer tasty food and keep the prices as low as possible, Rumi Persian Restaurant is quite opposite. Look at the photo of a terribly over-cooked Koobideh kebab that they offered us for $25.9. We were eating Carbon rather than kebab! On what basis do they bring a disqualified food on the table? The strangest thing is that their Kebabs do not come with rice! Where in the world a Persian kebab does not come with rice as a default meal? I also tried their food in their old address a few years ago. Tables and glasses were dusty and their kebabs had a very small portion of rice. We shared our feedback with the owner where we were promised that customers' feedback are taken into consideration. It seems that customers' feedback was adversely taken into consideration as they basically made rice as an optional (still small) side! The only positive point about Rumi Restaurant is the friendly Aussie staffs who work there.

My family and I loved this place. Definitely one of the best foods we have ever had in a high quality restaurant in a beautiful location. Beautiful mouth-watering Persian cuisine, rice was fluffy, and all the kebabs were really juicy and tasty. Excellent customer service and definitely value for money. The meal portions were huge and came with yummy salads, dips, crispy chips more…driving an hour from Brisbane to dine there definitely worth the trip. Thank you for this amazing experience! we will be back 

I couldn't believe there might be such an awesome Persian restaurant in the "Broad Beach" area in Gold Coast. I've been to this place along with my friends and family during a holiday, and we had the chance to enjoy a high-quality meal here. The portions were huge, and the food was more than tasty. The dishes were prepared well and attractive. I loved "Rumi special" as the kebabs were perfect. Highly recommended.

I recently visited Rumi restaurant and I had an excellent experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was top-notch. The menu offered a great selection of dishes, and everything I tried was delicious. I particularly loved the “King Meal” including Koobideh and Chenjeh, which was cooked to perfection and had great flavor. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes. Five stars!

Absolutely delicious food and excellent service! Nigel was really attentive, very friendly and helpful. We ended up dinning at this place twice out of 4 nights visit to Broadbeach. Definitely recommend that restaurant. PS They make the best cocktails as well.

I had the experience of dining at this restaurant tonight and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Now let's talk about the food! The menu offered a wide variety of options, all of which sounded delicious. I ended up ordering the KING meal and it was hands down one of the best meals I have ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced and every bite was pure bliss. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you're looking for a place with amazing food, great service and a cozy atmosphere, then look no further. This place has it all!

Food is spectacular, Noted that all my childhood and teenage years I’ve tried this food from home cooks like Mom, or in restaurant that food is the religion, and food is godly tasty. Rumi sits right at the top of the list in terms of delivery and taste.then you’ve got the amazing staff, super friendly. Special occasions or not, we always go here for a very good meal since 2019. We've invited friends and family when they've visited, as it's such a good place. The food is amazing, flavours and menu options are getting better and better. The serving is humongous, which is really good for us both as we are a big eaters. The wait staffs are always top service even the last few hours before they shut. This is our comfort place. Consistently best!

Great energy at this restaurant. Packed and buzzing. Great service and great food. Unlike other restaurants in Broadbeach, even their wine list was reasonable. Yum! Will be back for sure!

I had the saffron chicken with the best chips I’ve ever had and a delicious salad. The spices were delightful. My husband had Fillet Mignon which was cooked to perfection. The reason I only gave them 3 stars for atmosphere is because it was raining and this is an open fronted restaurant. If the weather had been fine, I’m sure that the atmosphere would have been 5 star ⭐️ too!

Everything about this spot was amazing!! If you want quality tasty food that is different to other restaurants this is the place to go. The service was so good, the staff were so lovely. I had the Persian Chicken and my husband had the Porterhouse Steak we were blown away how yummy it was. Can't wait to dine here again when ever we are down in Broadbeach. Thank you so much!

Best experience I have had at a restaurant in years. The food is incomparable to anywhere else, so full of flavour and each portion of flavours complementing one another. The customer service was on point! Polite but not over the top, nothing was too much. These guys have made our weekend away truly something to remember. I officially think Persian is my new food choice. 10 out of 10, highly recommended if anyone’s looking to have a tummy full :)

Yum! Went there with my brothers and was really really good food! Definitely do either a share plate or a meal solo. Went on a weeknight so was a little quieter. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We got all lamb made different ways and were all delicious

This place is so good, that I've been there three times in under a month.  Each time we go, we always order the different assortments of foods. Eat dish is seasoned with it's own spices and herbs which come out smelling savory and appetizing, unlike other places that use the same seasoning for all dishes.

Had a great experience here tonight. Delicious food and great service. Price is very reasonable and quality of their food is top class. Immaculate tables and great staff makes me want to go back on my next holiday. I would recommend this place for their amazing food.

Friendly service, nice ambience and plenty of carpark round the corner. Very tender and delicious ribs with chips. We also took saffron rice with steak. It was good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The most amazing Kebab ever( shashlik), We fly from Sydney And came to this restaurant by our friends recommendation and absolutely happy and satisfied, with Kebab, Dolme and Kaske Badenjan ( eggplant ), price is a little bit higher than other restaurants in same level but it worth to try it and enjoy a night at Gold coast. Highly recommend Rumi restaurant if you want to tast a pure persian kebabs,

I liked this restaurant. They serve a very good quality Persian food. The decor and style is nice and the location is very close to the beach, so you can walk on the beach after you got a big portion os Persian food. Food: I recommend the mixed plate which is enough for 2 or 3. Also for entree I ordered Kashk-o-bademjan with fresh bread (naan). I recommend it as well. The restaurant is a bit expensive, however, it worth a try.

One of the best restaurants in Gold Coast, the food was amazing, the service we received from Laden and Mason was outstanding and second to none. My wife and I ate there twice this week, and both times, we were impressed. The food serving was more than generous, and the atmosphere was calming and relaxing. I would definitely be coming back again. Laden and Mason keep up the great customer service you so proudly perform.

Very busy restaurant at Broad Beach that we went to. Worth the efforts with bookings and waiting. Tasty and reasonable portioned dishes. Friendly and chatty owner. Long wait to have orders taken but fast delivery. Loved everything came to our table. Will absolutely come back.

The great Persian food is here, large portion, remarkable taste, and inexpensive. A lot of choices for food, drink and cocktails. Very fast service. We'll be back again soon 😊😊😊

I'm an expert when it comes to Persian kebabs. I tried the share platter which comes with one skewers koobideh, one beef pieces and one saffron marinated chicken. Two Rice, salad and bread. Koobideh was one of the best among other Persian restaurants. Price is higher then usual but considering the location it is definitely worth it

We’ve tried lots of middle eastern food but this is our first experience at a Persian restaurant. The food was amazing and exceeded our expectations. We ordered the Barg (thin sliced grilled beef) and slow cooked lamb shank. Both were well presented and very delicious. Service was ok. Ambiance was good. Overall experience was great.
