Can't believe it took us this long to discover Muso - it's the real deal. If you're a ramen enthusiast, put this at the top of your list to try out. The food was delicious, the vibe very cool and the staff super friendly and laid back. Perfect to bring a small group of friends as it's on the noisier side. If you're coming on a busy night, good idea to book ahead of time as the place is really popular. Best ramen on the Gold Coast and rivals Taro Ramen in Brisbane in my opinion! 🤩❤️ From making their own noodles to the thick cut of meat to the rich broth, every bowl I’ve had at Muso has always been high quality and are extremely filling; you’ll really get your money’s worth! 🤤🤰🏻 🍜 🍜✨💕 The sides and cocktails are amazing as well!! Definitely get them but only if you can share so there’s enough room for the main attraction 🤣😋 They’re best for dine in but I’ve gotten takeaway before and it was still equally good. I’d recommend booking a table ahead around dinner time as they can get busy.

So glad that we choose to go to Muso Ramen out of so many ramen places to go to! The Gyoza are so juicy, and both the ramen are extremely tasty! Highly recommended!

I don't know why this place has such high reviews, the flavours were average and the ramen wasn't spectacular. Got baited into trying this place when I read a review saying it's like ramen from Japan, it's definitely not. The ramen here wouldn't hold a candle to the ramen in Japan. The Muso ramen at Robina tasted nicer than the dinner we had tonight. Overall, it's a nice place to dine at, but came here having high expectations only to be disappointed. Most of the staff couldn't speak english here, spent 15 minutes trying to make a booking with the waitress out front but she couldn't understand what I was saying so that definitely affected the rating.

By far this is my favourite ramen spot in Gold Coast! The vibe is fun, and love the niche rock & roll metal style decor! It's very quirky! If you like thick rich broth, this place is for you. I highly recommend the chicken Karage and the cheesy gyoza. I got the black garlic tonkotsu miso ramen, and it was brilliant. The noodles are the perfect texture and the pork slices were generous. Temperature wise, I wish the dish came a little bit hotter. If you do plan to visit, please allow some time for parking as the underground parking is very tight, otherwise due to construction. Street parking isn't available, so you'd have to park quite far.

Reservation is highly recommend it otherwise you may need to wait in the queue for for a bit on a main road store front. I ordered Tonkotsu Hakata, the soup base was rich and full of flavour, very traditional. I personally prefer the same Kyushu style from Hakatamon Ramen Chatswood (soup is even ticker and whiter, less salty so you can taste the richness and flavour better). Rest of the family ordered Tonkotsu original Miso, they liked it. However, they did mention they should have ordered soy. Karaage original was well marinated and juicy, 10 out of 10 ;-)

Very tasty thick soup base ramen. You have a choice of thick or thin ramen. They have both pork or chick broth. Both were delicious. Also had a serving of pork gyoza and it was delicious! Highly recommended!

I've visited this ramen restaurant for some time. When I feel like eating good ramen, not instant noodles or cheap similar kinds of ramen, I come here. As you know the price is a bit expensive, especially “monthly special ramen”, but a portion is not for one person even if it’s medium size. Although I usually order Tonkotsu ramen I felt like eating something different this time, so I chose “Shio Tanmen $27” which is a monthly May special. It has full of veggies on top. It was too hard to see noodles! The taste and portion are worth it! I’ll come back for looking forward to monthly special noodles, not only Tonkotsu ramen from now on.

Friendly staff, food was ready quite quick. Tried the new Takoyaki and it was absolutely amazing. Ramen was nice but broth was a bit too salty for my taste. I ordered thick noodle but I think I may prefer the thinner one instead. After all it was a great experience and I recommend the place!

Food is great here when you’re dining in, I decided to get some takeaway today and order 4 ramen, it’s was a 18mins drive home , by the time I got home there was no more soup as all the noodles have absorbed it up, as they put everything in the same bowl, the noodles n soup together for takeaway !!!! first place that’s hasn’t separate the soup and the noodles for take away :( what a waste of food went all in the bin, way too salty to Eat after that Also drive all the way there this arvo as they website said they are open and wasn’t even open all day as indicated on they website, and I went back tonight at 8pm to get takeaway I even tip them $15 haha

The shop looked to have expanded since we visited last, which is great cos there’s more seats, a spacious setting and air conditioning to enjoy! 🥳 . Our food: ~ Tonkotsu Black (miso) Ramen ~ Tonkotsu Dip Ramen ~ Ebimayo Prawns ~ Eggplant Tempura Dengaku miso sauce ~ Yuzu larger 🍻 . I remember we liked Muso for their thick, rich, Tonkotsu broth back in the day and day forward many moons later, their broth is still really really good 👍🏻 Lots of depth, flavour, richness and a bit of oiliness (in a good way) , that makes it very enjoyable 🤤 . Would highly recommend a visit if you’re in the Mermaid Beach area 👌🏻 but if you’re keen to drive a little further , Goukai still does it for us! 🤤🤗😍

We have eaten plenty of ramen and this has to be hands down top of the list Not from the area and it was a full house when we were eating, we just walked in with a booking Staff were friendly and efficient and service with a smile, looking around it was also a family friendly restaurant with 4-5 other families with kids too. We ordered the karaage fried chicken, edamame beans, fried dumplings gyoza and tonkotsu miso and black soy with 2 beers Everything was spot on tonight, broth was great, rich and full of flavour with the thick chewy noodles, best we have had. You even get more than 1 piece of pork, usually most places give you 1….toppings and more pork can’t get better than this place. The wife agreed it was her best ramen yet, and she has the miso. Well done Muso, keep up the great ramen

One of the japanese hidden gems in mermaid beach.. Will come back as it is good and authentic Japanese place.. Pp around $20-$40

I have been to japan many times and have had many ramen noodle soups. At Muso, I had the spicy miso ramen and It was so heavy and fatty, I just couldn't eat it. When they first opened up I raved about the ramen but a couple of yeara later the broth is so thick and heavy and full of fat. They need to make the texture way more thinner, like soup, not sludge. Here is a picture of the broth being on my fridge. Completely solidified fat all the way through. Please go back to the way it was! :(

🍜MUSO RAMEN🍜 @muso_ramen Location: 2b/2484 Gold Coast Hwy, Mermaid Beach QLD 4218 Rating: 3.5/5✨ a couple weeks back, we ventured down to the Gold Coast for some food adventuring and passed by @muso_ramen and decided why not?~ since the nights have been so chilly, ramen is calling from left right centre!🤍✨🍜 we got✨🍽: 🖤🍜🤍black soy tonkotsu ($20) and original soy tonkotsu ($18.5): starting off, the broth here is extremelyyyy thick, so if you don’t like your ramen soup thick but instead more light and liquidy, then don’t try this, i’ve never had a thicker ramen broth oh my, a lot a lot of flavour packed into this🤭🥰 i personally am used to, and like, lighter and not too intense broths, so this was very overwhelming for me as a person that also gets less salty broth, thicker and more flavourful broths will inevitably come out more on the salty side, so this didn’t really go well for me unfortunately🥹but just as a personal taste factor~ i do appreciate and can taste the effort and time it must have taken them to make this broth though!🤍 the difference between the original and black is they put roasted garlic oil on top and give you more cha-siu pieces, which is my next comment~ wow the cha-siu is really really packed with smokey flavours, incredibly smokey and not the standard steamed cha-siu that you get at other places! quite a interesting and refreshing change!🥰 🥟pork gyoza ($13): at first i thought this was quite pricey for gyoza as i’m used to smaller sized ones at other places, but my goodness these were quite hefty!🥰✨packed with flavorful juicy pork, definitely the highlight of the meal for me!🤍 conclusion, i do recommend @muso_ramen but i personally probably won’t be going back again solely because it’s not my type of ramen broth that i like~ and i don’t think i can get used to such a thick and intense broth that can’t be customized~🥰✨🍜but if you’re all about the jam packed flavourful and intense thick broths, seriously try them out, you’ll love them!🤩🥳

We have been here a couple of times and always it's so good. We had the Spicy Chicken Karaage, Edamame, Furikake chips to share which are just yum. For main I had the terimayo cha-sau rice bowl, it has alot of pork belly which it soft. Alround a great experience

The BEST RAMEN I've ever had! I had the pork broth ramen. It was the perfect amount of slightly oily but only enough to coat the tongue and make you experience all the subtleness of the flavours. It had a thin housemade noodles and with spinach and I added green onion. 100% would go again.

Best ramen I've ever eaten in GC!!! The noodle is so well cooked and tender!!! Cold Dandan noodle is my partner's favorite with special juciy sesame sauce.
