Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in the GC! The food is delicious and full of flavour, I couldn't fault it. My favourite was the Red Curry & Pad Thai. Service was friendly and staff made sure we where happy during our stay. Interior is fresh, clean and comfortable with a relaxed coastal vibe. Book in early as they are always busy, especially on weekends! Definitely will be back!

We walked in without a reservation, and thankfully, they squeezed us in! It was bustling with energy, a testament to their delicious food. We dove straight into the panang curry, and let me tell you, it was a revelation! Rich, creamy, and bursting with fragrant spices, it's easily the best I've had for some time. Everything else on the table was equally fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We couldn't fault a single dish! I highly recommend making a reservation to avoid a wait.

Love Thai food. This place is really good. We had the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) always delicious and a favourite of mine, next time I will ask for spicy. We also had the massaman beef curry with a side of steamed jasmine rice, very good. Very filling for two people. Heaps of seating. Very friendly staff.

Lovely Thai food This is a good, budget friendly option for Thai at Surfers Paradise. As usual we asked for double the amount of chilli and half the amount of sugar and they did attempt to please us. We really enjoyed our tom yum prawn noodle soup but found the beef stir fried with chilli and basil a little sweet for our taste. I was slightly disappointed to see that there was no pork on the menu. The portions were reasonable and the service was fast and friendly. BYO was a plus!

Ordered three dishes, cashew nut, garlic and pepper, and oyster sauce. The dishes were very good. My favourite was the cashew nut, it was quite delicious. Customer service was average. I was able to take a look around the restaurant while waiting for my meal. It was spacious, full of natural light, and I thought it to be lovely.

One of the nicest thai meals we have had, so much so we checked to see if they were in Melbourne when we head back. Food well priced, great servings and tasted absolutely delicious. The satay with the roti topped it all off.

My family and I enjoyed a delicious meal here. The green curry prawns with steamed rice were flavorful and satisfying. The chicken satay skewers were tender and paired well with the rich peanut sauce. To top it off, we got a free soft serve from their new place next door. It was a chai soft serve that was creamy and refreshing. They also offered us a complimentary bubble tea of our choice, because we had to wait a bit for the soft serve. It was a generous gesture and the bubble tea was amazing. I highly recommend this place for a great dining experience.

Definitely best meals we' had during our stay in Gold Coast. The environment is beautiful, service is great and the food is really yummy! When all the other reviews said this is the Best place, NO CAP! AMAZING SERVICE, MINIMAL WAIT TIME, EFFICIENT & DELICIOUS!! We came back again to visit from Melbourne and Cocohut definitely does not disappoint. We came with a big family of 15 members (booking is recommended) and big orders but our food came piping hot not long after. We had the pineapple fried rice & chicken fried rice (the prawn was fresh and succulent! ), tom yum soup (bursting with amazing goodness and really good spicy kick!) and crispy basil chicken (full of flavour). the seafood are all fresh. The Larb salad is a must try! Loving the crispy chicken. All the staff here also very patiently explained to us the food that they recommend. The best part about them were the smiles on their faces that never leave them. Truly we felt like we are in the land of smiles! Love it❤️

I like the taste of the food. I have tried the restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, and it was a great trial. We ordered rice noodles with chicken meduim spicy (pad Thai) and flat noodles with chicken (Pad Si- Ew). Pad Thai was so spicy I may order mild next time😄. The portion per dish is big, so it might be enough for two people not starving.

We ordered Tom Yum soup (seafood), Pad see ew (tofu and veggies), plain rice and Chicken (can’t recall the name) and everything was amazing. Food was perfectly seasoned, most thai food restaurants I’ve tried are either too sweet or too salty. Portion was good for the price. The waitress said the waiting time would range from 30-40 minutes but we only had to wait for 15 - enough time to look at the menu and decide what to order. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend.

Wow, awesome Thai flavours, great portions and amazing value. I asked for spicy and it was. I also asked for some chilli 🌶 in fish sauce which they brought to me quickly. One of the best Thai's I've had in Australia and outside of Thailand. My chook chilli basil was delightful and my wife Tom Yum soup had amazing flavours and was a very big bowl!!

It was so good that we had to go back again! Staff there were friendly and accommodating. The second night, we didn't book, but I recommend it because it fills up very quickly at dinner service. We were just lucky on the second night.

Beat Thai I've had in a while! We orderes the curry puffs for entry, decent nice curry flavour. And the red Thai curry with chicken and the sweet and sour stir-fry with beef. The red curry was to die for with just the right amount of heat (asked for mild) sweet and sour had a nice rich flour with a smokey/grill flavour undernote which I really enjoyed, which I think came from the beef! Oh and with coconut rice on the side. Staff were lovely and attentive. Nice decor and bright lighting. Only thing is you have to walk through part of the kitchen for the toilets. But the food was delish!

Found this Thai restaurant near our hotel, was glad we stopped by. The food was amazing and very authentic. We had som tum with prawns, seafood green curry, coconut rice and thai milk tea icecream. Staff was very helpful and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Prices are reasonable as well, we would definitely come back.

Recommended by social media, when we come, half tables full and continually customers come, items are average price and food taste well. We try green curry, that’s awesome. Anyway, may need a try when you pass by here, but not a must go restaurant.

Every time I come to Gold Coast I will visit this amazing Thai restaurant. It has upgraded the store which has lager space and better atmosphere. The taste of food is always great and worth for the price. Don’t miss this mega hotpot.

Booking is essential because it will be so busy during the dinner time. It's been a while and I don't really remember the detail about hot food. Overall, it is better than average level. Souffle is pretty good when served with crunchy rice and refreshing cream.

One of the best Thai restaurants on the Gold Coast (food, service, price). Not many restaurants please my critiqual parents, but this one did! Well done Cocohut for your integrity to your Vision, Mission, and Values.

The worst slop I've ever seen or tasted. soggy fried fish on 2 gross lettuce leaves. Appalling food quality and absolute garbage food. Would never eat from here again.

The food here was great! Asked for extra spicy and got it how we liked it! The fried rice was great and the pad thai was a lil sour, which was a bit too much for me, but still enjoyed it withe seafoods. Recommended:))

One of the best meals I’ve had over the course of 5 days in Gold Coast. The environment is beautiful, service is great and the food is really yummy! We had the pineapple fried rice (fresh succulent prawn), tom yum soup (SOOOOO GOOD!) and crispy basil chicken (full of flavour!). Finished off with their creme brulee (sugar was slightly too burnt but the creme was good!) Fantastic! Wish I can have the tom yum again but i’m leaving to Melbourne tomorrow. Try the food out if you can! 😋💕 Lots of people, go early and queue or make a booking! ☺️

Went for lunch and it was fantastic! Crispy chicken was super crispy and tasty. Tomyum noodle was great value. The best thing is finishing a meal with coconut ice cream. It is the best ice cream on the Gold Coast.

  • 5/5 Tim L. 1 year ago on Google
The restaurant was very busy even it was Wednesday. Booking is recommended. We ordered Thai Fried Rice, Tom Yum Noodles and a fresh coconut. All were very tasty. I chose ‘hot’ for the noodles and it came out real spicy! I loved it! Furthermore, a fresh coconut is rarely found in Australia. I was glad to taste it here.

The place is very popular. You might need to book a table before visiting this restaurant. Staff are friendly, and the food came very quickly. Tom yum was very good, very spicy. I just loved it. Not so affordable though, I paid around $25 for that. Seafood Pad Thai was very tasty, a little bit too sweet for me. Around $24 dollars. I would say it’s a little expensive but the food is very delicious. You must give it try!
