Iconic location, great view across to surfers paradise, with indoor and outdoor seating areas you find a spot that you can allow time to fly while you enjoy a drink and some great food. The space is right on the water and you can hear the waves crashing. Beautifully decorated perfectly for its seaside location. The pizzas here are very good.

We’re on vacation and had to visit here! First off let me say the view is like no other! Just breathtaking really! That’s why I didn’t leave 1 star. So I’ve made it my mission to try all fish and chips from Brisbane through the Gold Coast and I had such high hopes for this food. It was really bad. Soggy, no crisp to the breading. Fries were old. It was so bad. Hubby got the chicken snitzel and the portion was huge however very difficult to chew. Plus the gravy was more like a warm salad dressing. It was so bad I found myself confused 🫤 asking “does anyone try this before serving?” Also I don’t know why or how you have a soil dirt taste to guacamole 🥑 but that’s what it was. Now let’s talk price?! WOW 😮 and I am from the US! But $39 for 2 piece fish with chips? Um 😶 did they go fishing while I was waiting or something? The prices are out of control. Makes me feel bad for the local people I’ve met. I understand why they say eating out is every couple months type of event! Even in San Francisco California I would of paid less than $20! I think a re-work is needed not only to bring customers back but to have the local pop enjoy eating out at an affordable price. Last point I’ll make, if you go to a restaurant and have no wait staff. You have to go two different places, stand in line to place your order, get your own water etc. I would think price should also reflect atmosphere and what you have your customers do to get food on their own. I really don’t like leaving a bad review however I was so dissatisfied.

Amazing view! Do not come here for the food... The view is breathtaking! We ordered: - fish and chips - nothing spectacular - pizza - looking like the right thing but the pizza sauce was just boring and the dough a bit chewy - chicken schnitzel - the thinnest chicken I've ever saw in my life!!! Laser cut quality, some parts with 3 mm thickness! Please see the photos! View is way better than the food! I will not recommend!

Came here for a lunch to catch up with friends and to have a few drinks. Our friend had tattoos on his arm and mid meal they were literally about to kick him out. I can't believe in this modern Era that a venue would still discriminate like that. If I'm be honest the food wasn't even that good ,I've actually ate at a few places around the corner from here that had much better options and skill from the kitchen. It looks like it's on the way down again as it's not getting as busy as it once was. This establishment should change its business direction before it becomes a past memory.

People are more than nice there to show us the right way to the bar. There are actually two businesses sharing the first floor of the surfing club building. On the left, it is a modern Australian restaurant. The spiced puff bread was so impressed and tasty! Don't forget to ask the staff for the recommended dish! They do have something goes perfect with the puff bread. Unfortunately, only my tougue and stomach remember the taste rather than its name... Also, you must try the beetroot and watermelon salad. Your companions and you would find two 'wow' in each other's eyes! Wait at the door to be seated and ask for a table in terrace if they are still available. Awesome view is always the best to be with delicious dishes. Mains are required here. At your right is a casual bar. If you don't want any mains, here you can also get to meet the beautiful view with some drinks. Easy and chill. Take a jumper in the evening, in case it's too windy to stay long there. Good spot to enjoy the daylights and sunset. Warm pinky sky is the best to stay in your mind with your beloved. Enjoy your time there.

This was the first time for me and the place had great seaview to dine. The service was great as their staff were fast with finding us seats and serving us. But we found the food to be exceptionally expensive. Paid for the market fish at $60 for a snapper fish. That was a rip off. The prawns were $44 for 4 prawns. This isnt the right amount to be charged. It's incorrigible to charge that . We loved the pita bread and the fig dip. Definitely not going back here to spend a fortune when the food isn't that great.

This was one of my favourite places that I visited in the Gold Coast. The food itself was decent but the view! Damn! It was very scenic though a touch breezy. The price of my espresso martini was a little inflated I thought but where isn’t it in Australia especially here. Otherwise a fun experience and I will definitely pay another visit if my travels take me back to OZ. 👍😎

Awesome seafood and amazing view! It was great to have the window view and enjoy the super fresh seafood and pizza! Busy but all the staffs are make sure your food and drinks are well prepared and served on time! When the sun went down, wind blowed the window, they will help to close and lock all the windows. Thank you for the great dining experience!

Must try the spice bread when you visit this energetic and lively place. There are 2 parts: one for fine dining and one for casual dining where the served pizza that are wood oven cooked. The view cannot be any better, the beautiful beach and surfer’s haven, good to watch them and hear the waves of the water. Parking can be challenging on weekends but if you are patient you will be able to park close to the pavilion

Always a lovely vibe, staff are attentive and refills keep coming. The service is great although we had a crab pasta dish and it lacked wow. It was lovely but not wow. Service, views and sides were exceptional and the bread is always divine.

What an awesome view while you have a meal, snack or just a few cold ales. Service was great. Place was well set out and clean. Not cheap but not ridiculously expensive either. Definitely going there again.

Food & Drinks were expensive but it was in a very good location. Noise was definitely a big issue as there were so many people packed in a small space. I also I got a lemon lime and bitters and I would not recommend that.

Such a great place to have lunch with a great view of the ocean. The light and relaxed atmosphere that permeates the entire terrace will not leave you indifferent. So grab your cocktails and immerse yourself in this unforgettable journey! Cheers

Great atmosphere and great food. You get a good view of Gold Coast as well from there and it's a great place to visit after the beach or to come and have a get together. Would recommend going here if your in Burleigh!

Great place to splurge on good cocktails and amazing food during a holiday. My husband and I came after border restrictions were lifted, not a lot of tourists around which was nice, and there was no issue getting a seat with a view! Food was delicious and generous serves (we had Nachos and Prawns on ice). Good atmosphere all and all!

Burleigh Pavilion, Burleigh Heads, QLD What a great beachside spot to enjoy a meal, drink and company (my wife off course), while viewing the ocean, surfers and rowers, while listening to great music. They have a table service restaurant, bar area and an outdoor covered terrace area. We sat in the terrace while it was pouring rain, but still a great view of the ocean while watching a rowing regatta. Nice food selection and cocktails. But the Panna cotta was very unusual and delicious. Lots of street parking outside pavilion. #BurleighPavilion

Great spot. Busy as on a Friday lunchtime in winter. Great views. Line up to order, get a number, food eventually arrived. But it was worth waiting for. We had the kids burger for $16 and it was plenty for us girls.

I love this place, the view as as beautiful as unreal. Have to try the bar, staffs are overall friendly. The food meets my expectation, the prawns are actually pretty good.

The view is superb. We went there on weekday afternoon nearly full house. We are so lucky to have beach side table just waiting for 10mins. Really can't imagine if it is in weekend. The pizza was made by wooden oven which is big enough for share.

Came here on a Thursday and it was lovely. The view is amazing and we even saw some Wales. The food we had was yummy, though salad portions rather small. The fish my friend had was good but definitely on the pricy side. I would return to show a friend around and have a beer with a great view!

Lunch at the Tropic was sensational, food so diverse and flavouring heaven. Talking about the heaven … the view and the blue from water and the sky… Fantastic place. Girls serving us were so wonderful. Bar seams to be very busy and kind of looks bit overpacked.. Totally place to be seen. Insta spot.

Sadly we went on a high-humidity seering hot day and were dripping in sweat the whole visit which led us to leave earlier than we would have liked to to find an air-cobditioned venue nearby. Great views and would be great in cooler weather. The waiter also tried to tell us what he would not bring out from our order unless we were going to order mains...and something else he said would not stand up to the heat...in our 50s and avid diners we did not enjoy having to insist our order be submitted as placed by us. Hard to eat his recommendations of steak and pasta in that heat and humidity. The food was good and wine list too. Pricier than most but to be expected with those views and decor and we did order Moet which is never cheap on beachside menus! Will return on a cooler day. All other staff were lovely to a fault. Photos are not exhaustive of what we ordered and the venue was not full.

Great beachside setting, friendly staff, large reasonably priced menu but venue can get busy and feels crowded even on a weekday. Overall it was nice dining experience 🙂👍

If you're looking for an amazing beachfront spot to relax, dine, and soak up the sun, the Burleigh Pavilion is an absolute must visit. The views are brilliant on a sunny day. You can see for miles down the coastline, with crystal-clear water and golden sand as far as the eye can see. And the atmosphere is just as amazing as the scenery, especially on a Sunday arvo session. It’s a perfect blend of casual and sophisticated, with a laid-back beachy vibe. The menu is full of delicious options that are perfect for sharing with friends, from fresh seafood to crispy pizzas and everything in between. And the cocktails are top-notch. I highly recommend the signature Pavilion Spritz for a refreshing and delicious treat.

Spectacular view from every corner of the bar. Friendly and fast service by both wait staff and bar staff. The place is super packed though for my liking but its not their fault they are busy. 4 stars because the music was too loud and table was not wiped properly before I was seated.

Nice open place for a spot for lunch and a drink. Very popular place. Lovely decor and natural light. Drinks are expensive. Staff were all very young, very relaxed and pleasant, but didn't see many smiling or enjoying themselves. You can see the kitchen in progress from the dining area which is always fun to watch. Short walk down to the beach.

Relaxed vibe with ocean views. We went on a week day so it was not too busy. Beef burger was very nice, chicken burger was a little insane (think large chicken schnitzel in between two burger buns) but tasty. Our table also had fish and chips which was also enjoyed. Hopefully we'll be back next time we're in the area.
