The worst experience our group of 7 have ever had- AVOID THIS PLACE!!! We went to this place with a group of 7, and we left starving despite the amount money we ended up paying. So disappointing! 1. The owners of the restaurant bribe people by offering a 10% discount if they give a 5 star rating on Google. This clearly shows how incompetent they are and that the reviews are not genuine. Majority of the 5 star rated reviews have fake profiles as evident if you scroll through them. 2. The food was not traditional as it claims to be on its website. I am from Melbourne and we went to this place because of the website. The website displays that the "restaurant" offers traditional Turkish food. This is false advertising. The type of food it offers is no where near authentic/ traditional Turkish cuisine. The images on your website are misleading. 3. This place is extremely overpriced and the quality of the food does not correlate with the amount being charged. You will be better off eating KFC or Mc Donalds the night. Not only will you save your taste buds- you will also save heaps of money in your pocket. 4. The waiter gave us a "complimentary" tomato soup. Oh my, where do I begin. The soup was freezing cold and it was so tasteless. The soup or shall I say the tomato sauce in the bowl- not even kidding that was not soup it was literally as though there was tomato sauce put into the bowl. To add, they charged us all 1 cents each on the receipt for this complimentary soup they claimed to give us. Not that I care as its only 7 cents for 7 of us its frustrating that they use this tactic to add any extra cent to your bill. 5. Some of us ended up ordering Manti. The topping of the Manti had tomato sauce. This is not the way manti is made. We could not even finish what we ordered and the waitress knew how disappointed we are and did not try to rectify any of this. 6. The waitress claims that the restaurant is "fine dining". Perhaps the management have no understanding about what fine dining cuisine is. This place is not only far from traditional Turkish cuisine, it is also far from fine dining I am afraid. 7. Who in their right mind charges $5 for like 5-6 pieces of bread in a bucket? "Traditional" Turkish restaurants always provide bread for free as that is what adds to the uniqueness of a traditional Turkish restaurant. No discount offered. No change of meal offered. So far from a traditional Turkish restaurant or a fine dining restaurant... I could go on for much longer about how disappointing this place is but I am sure this review is enough for someone to avoid this place and this is why I am ending this review here. Attached is the image on their website vs the manti I received covered all over in tomato sauce.

Worst experience ever. Service is the worst I have ever seen in a restaurant. Waited half an hour for a desert which was never made. No apologies have been made for it.. They have a QR menu system. And if you can't order via using your phone, they have no other option of taking orders. ( that's what business owner have said) . So in order words, like it or leave it. Everyone was Rude. Stay away from it.

Ordered a share cocktail with my Mum thinking it came in a jug with 2 glasses, it arrived in one large glass. I explained to the waiter that it was to share with my Mum and I don't feel comfortable sharing during Covid times as I wouldn't want to unknowingly put my mum at risk and could he please pour it into 2 glasses, he said "no, this is how it comes" I pleaded for him to do anything and he was extremely rude back and showed no care, compassion or customer service that a waiter should. I asked the female waitress for 2 separate glasses so I could do it myself she asked the bar but returned and told us no and to use our water glasses. The drink cost $38 and tasted like it had absolutely no alcohol in it. Our food then arrived completely cold, the waitress said she would get the chef to make a new one but the same one came out re cooked. Overall will not be eating here ever again. Entire experience was ruined and extremely disappointing.

Hi, i am from Sydney and had visited ‘Alachati restaurant’ when i was there in Gold Coast. It was a Mediterranean fusion cuisine and the food was delicious with vibrant environment. Later on, i came to know that the management was new and the service was really good. I recommend this place for Turkish food and best cocktails 🍹..

First time in Alachati Restaurant/Bar and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The desert kunefe is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Service was absolutely disgusting. When we arrived at the restaurant the Turkish girl at the front did not even look at our faces which was just appalling. Even though the food and the asian server were amazing the Turkish girl ruined our first and definitely last experience at the restaurant. Neither will my friends nor will I ever be recommending this failing Turkish restaurant. The server did not engage with us at all, including many times in which we called for her assistance. She was too busy on her phone gossiping in Turkish with her friends.

Amazing Turkish food, conveniently located in Broadbeach. We love the entrees, ordering traditional dips, Turkish bread for starters. We usually get main meals here too, all of which are amazing quality and full of flavour. Portion size is good, would be even more amazing if slightly bigger. The kunefe and ice cream to finish was delicious and complimented well with a cup of tea. The customer service was the best! Happy to say they give blankets for outdoor seating and heaters around to ensure comfort. The waiters take the time to pour water and checks in to ensure we are comfortable. Also provides great assistance with menu options. Always a good time here.

A authentic Turkish establishment as far as the food is concerned.. definitely no complaints about the cuisine itself..a nice clean restaurant with friendly staff... if a little slow and disinterested at times. Perhaps the only real complaint would be the portion size for the price.. the quality is never in doubt.. however the quantity is certainly questionable.. Nonetheless... well worth trying if you want the real deal with regards to Turkish cuisine

Really good atmosphere with a beautiful decoration. We had the beef cheek and the lamb shank that I really recommend, everything was tasty and garnished perfectly, the cocktails were really good too. We finished with the baklava which were delicious and not too heavy after this big festin I’ll definitely be back

Alachati was an absolutely beautiful restaurant to dine at. The location was perfect and we were greeted with great service that stayed amazing the whole way through. The beautiful dips and bread were great as starters and the prawn guvech was to die for.

Went for an impromptu anniversary date night. The best Turkish food we’ve had in ages and so affordable! The two course meal for $89 is such good value and delicious! The staff were so lovely. And when it’s cold, they have blankets over the chairs that you can use to keep warm. Will definitely be back :)

Perfect dinner for myself and hubby on a Thursday evening. We enjoyed the ambience, the feeling we were in Turkey, the delicious food and the lovely staff. Highly recommended, especially on a weeknight when it is a little quieter. Thank you! 🙏

Dined for dinner with friends. We shared the hummus & babaganush dips with turkish bread & halloumi chips for entree, I had the prawn guvec for my main. I also had a few margarita cocktails. Whilst the food & drinks were tasty, overall we felt the food was expensive & not great value for money. The prawn dish I ordered was expensive at $35 to only receive 5 prawns. Please add more prawns for that price as that is a very small serving as a main meal.

Great food and friendly service. Not the best cocktails I've ever had but we were there for the food. Would definitely go back. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the music too - very nice.

My friends and I were visiting the Gold Coast and wanted an early dinner. Most restaurants weren't open, but Alachati welcomed us. The owners were so sweet and warm. The service amazing and the food... WoW!!!! It was stunning. We will definitely be back when visiting again. We wanted to go back the next night but weren't able to. It was that good.

Loved coming back here for dinner! If you are looking for a good Mediterranean resto...look no further! The prawns and eggplant/hummus dip with turkish bread is divine...the lamb with camembert cheese is perfectly spiced with rice.. I'm always happily full here! Definitely recommend the kunefe dessert 🤤

The food here is incredible. We had the sizzling koftas, lamb shanks and beef cheeks. So good! The staff were excellent I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high quality meal and not break the bank. We will be back!

The food was fantastic, wonderfully flavourful with each bite and filling too. Our sever was lovely, courteous and helpful. The atmosphere and decor was relaxing and beautiful. We adored the traditional lamps and fairy lights too. Will definitely come back and recommend to family and friends.

Alachati is the type of restaurant you would want to eat at every night. The food is 10/10. I was drooling just looking at it (see the photos!) and it was the freshest, most flavoursome food I have ever eaten. The Turkish Delight cocktail was amazing too! The atmosphere was stunning, with some tables having their own Turkish lamp and blue fluorescent lighting over the entrance. The service was 10/10– waiters took the time to respectfully pour out table water for us and carefully lay out our cutlery. They checked in on us every now and again and the food was brought out efficiently. We didn't wait long at all. I highly recommend Alachati! Worth every cent that you pay. ✨

Years ago, this place use to be good, really, really good. It’s not now. The menus strange, the meal’s are expensive, the food’s ordinary, very ordinary. If you got it at a surf club for half the price you may be somewhat satisfied, maybe? Overall it was just blah. The food didn’t taste of much, the service was ordinary, no one seemed to really care about anything. I couldn’t imagine any Turkish person eating there and being proud of the food. It’s a shame but one to cross off the list in Broadbeach.

We decided to have a family dinner at Alachati and loved it, the hosts were great, they set us up at a table out the front which had good atmosphere. We ordered cocktails (I had the Turkish delight which was beautiful although my son stole all of the fairy floss off the top) For mains we ordered a bunch of starters/tapas as share plates, every plate was delicious and fairly good portions too, 5 plates left us too full for desert unfortunately because their desert menu looked interesting. 5 stars guys, you didn’t disappoint.

Such a great dinner! Every dish was amazing, the babaganoush (eggplant dip) was very tasty and flavourful, the lamb fell off the bone with a rice perfectly sauced, cauliflowers were crispy and well seasoned! Quantities were generous, with 1 main + 2 starters + fries to share between 2 adults there was no room for desert! To top all that great food, the service was very friendly, with the little extra (offering to take a picture) that makes it a very pleasant experience. Oh and great cocktails too! Note and edit after seeing some other comments: was not paid (or offered) anything for this review :)

Delicious food. Great Turkish Delight cocktails. Really lovely people. Easy QR code ordering meant nothing was missed and we got exactly what we wanted. No waiting to order or pay. Plenty of GF and pescatarian options as well. Definitely will be back!

I came here for dinner, I personally expected this to be a somewhat regular restaurant but upon viewing of menu and ordering I found that the items were very very pricey for what they were, I wouldn’t say the food was out there or anything special than usual but the prices made it very difficult, “only because it was basic food” I ordered the prawns with capsicum mazze , it was $15 for three prawns and a dash of sauce, my main was $22 for a gozleme that was average could get this at a market for $10. But I will say the eggplant dip and Turkish bread were amazing! The service was good and the restaurant is nicely located & nicely decorated but the prices are not worth what it is.

Service was fun, Even though it was very busy we got a seat, unreserved in minutes. Food is delicious and service time not bad. The Turkish Delight cocktail was one of the best ones I have had in some time

The food was delicious! I think they may have had some new staff on as service was late and a bit inconsistent. Plus a meal was missed and when we asked where it was came after everyone had finished and wasn’t the right meal. They took it off the bill though which was good. The staff were friendly and food and drink was good but as you can see we had a few issues.
