Spent Father’s Day at this Cafe last Sunday and it was worth it. Service was exeptional as my family and I felt very looked after! Food was great and coffee was spot on 👌🏻 Would go back to this place again and definitely recommend it to others. This cafe is dog friendly too so that’s a plus! ❤️

Probably the best cafe on the Gold Coast, beautiful spot in the morning sunshine, delicious coffee and they cook great food. Try the “fish tacos” for brunch and thank me later. Service is super friendly, not just a QR code menu. So nice to go somewhere that’s genuine unlike many other cafes on the coast. Five stars

First-timers popping in for an afternoon coffee. We ordered an espresso and a cappuccino - both were delicious with that strong signature Campos flavour. We also got a carrot cake that was to die for. SO moist (sorry 🙈) and tasty - nothing like those bulk made carrot cakes in most coffee shops. After seeing the food people at other tables were eating, we will definitely be back! The staff were super friendly. Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Value for money: 💰💰💰💰💰/5 Customer service: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️/5 Atmosphere: 😍😍😍😍/5 Will visit again: ✅

Updated: Commune Cafe has become one of my favourite cafes on the Gold Coast! I love the menu with lots of drink options like fresh juices, smoothies, shakes, frappes etc. and flexible food menu. The first time we were there, we just had an egg on toast brekkie with add ons, very tasty! I like that you have the option of a basic egg on toast ($12.50) or avo on toast ($15) and you can then add on specifically what you like. They also have other great food options like açai/fruit bowls, pancakes etc. We've tried the açai bowl, the dragon fruit bowl, the green bowl and the buckwheat pancakes so far. Everything super tasty and fresh ingredients. Nice area to sit outside. ☀️ Although it's always busy, we've never waited long for a table. And the service is extraordinary quick!!

First visit and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and price for breakfast! Fast service, great staff and beautiful flavours. Everything was so tasty and we also enjoyed our hand made almond milk chat latte. It was amazing! I definitely recommend this place for breakfast!

Hands down one of the best cafes, ever! Food was exceptionally well flavoured and very fresh. I'm drooling just thinking bout it 🤤 Beef cheek on Rosti: Delicious af! Eggs were perfectly poached and the special hollandaise was great. Hawaiian soba with soy chicken: Yummm. Every veg was seasoned differently and perfectly! Super fresh produce. Thank you to kitchen staff and also the great service by front staff!

Overall a well executed experience. Great food, exceptional coffee, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, cool music, quick service, diverse menu... What more could you ask for? Whatever it is, they've probably checked that box, too.

Great Cafe. We had a bun with chicken, eggs florentine and the forager. Next time we will try other food. All was very good. The Cafe is close to the street but this doesn't matter. The service is very friendly. We recommend this Cafe.

Chill place to enjoy a bit of brekkie. Lovely breakfast cafe just a short walk from our accommodation. Great selection of dishes though check their availability! Setting was relaxed, especially the outdoor dining area. Even though the venue was busy, we couldn't tell from where we sat, away from the hustled and hustle. Though unfortunately as a result the service could have been better.

I was a regular here when I lived in Surfers. I highly recommend the fritters. Tacos are fantastic too but I had mine with a raw taco shell because I didn't like the burnt edges when it's toasted. It's a very busy cafe and staff are super friendly. My antidote to the vacuous Surfers lifestyle.

Lovely cafe with outdoor seating, friendly staff and super delicious food. I ordered The Forager and it was perfect. Also the French earl grey with coconut milk and honey was delicious. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back.

Nifty little joint that serves up common breakfast foods with little unique twists. I will be interested to see how they spice up the menu next time I visit!

The food and coffee here is absolutely amazing. We ordered the corn fritters with came with a generous heap of avo smash. The brioche French toast was decadent and just sweet enough. While the fish tacos were also lovely. In all very good food with outstanding flavours and generous portions. However, this cafe is very popular and the wait can take a while. Too noisy to sit indoors with the blasting music, we definitely loved our spot right outside the cafe.

We had a quick getaway to Queensland over the weekend and made sure to visit @communeespresso as we had been wanting to for a while now. A cute little cafe, slightly rustic with outdoor seating available. Food is nice and healthy and they do good coffee too. We had their avocado 🥑 on toast and a scrambled eggs with spinach. We had an enjoyable cafe visit

Such a beautiful cafe. Food is always incredible - like little pleasure moans with every bite 😆, and the coffee is always spot on. But the service is truly the icing on the cake here, the staff are always, without fail, lovely, calm and on the ball and your order comes out so fast. I usually go for the super greens bowl but today went for the Salmon Eggs Benny - oh lordy it was divine! The doggos didn't even get a taste. Big love💚

Great food and good coffee. The reason for 4 star is every dish had bit too much salt. Good service and I would go back!

Cute cafe with a fun vibe. I had an açai bowl and my friend had the dragonfruit one. The portions were quite large, and super delish. I’m still confused about the waiter who has something poured all over the back of her shirt, down her arm and leg but pretended like nothing was there.

  • 4/5 Sinead R. 1 year ago on Google
Really gorgeous food, and coffee was lovely as well. The staff could be a bit more proactive but overall i enjoyed the experience and would go back as food is so fresh, filling and awesome. Spent $42 per person on comparison to $54 at the paddock yesterday for 2 people - just to get a sense of price comparison

Good option for breakfast/brunch. Seating indoor and outdoor. Not sure if it was because it was raining but didn’t have to wait long for a table for four. The chocolate banana pancakes are definitely unique. The kids hadn’t come across those before. Monster helping of avo with the corn fritters which is always appreciated. Well worth a visit. $120 for 4 for breakfast

I had the pleasure of trying the corn fritters at this place, and let me tell you, they were absolutely fantastic! Packed with an abundance of fresh produce, these fritters exceeded my expectations. What I loved about them was their simplicity—they weren't trying to be overly fancy, just offering good, honest food that hits the spot. If you're looking for a satisfying and delicious treat, these corn fritters are definitely worth a try!

Was taking a day off in Burleigh and found this cafe near us visited it because of the significant amount of google reviews and just absolutely fell in love, their Acai bowl is the best I've ever tried and its just fantastic their fruits are so rich! Their Karage Burger with Kimchi was insane! I recommend anyone here to try them out thank you so much!

I ordered an item off the menu that stated it was gluten free. I asked before ordering it that it was definitely gluten free and was reassured it was. After eating almost all of the breakfast I realised there was barley in it. The excuse was that it was a new menu. Cafes and chefs should know what is gluten free. Barley is certainly not. I have coeliac disease... it is not a preference. It’s an autoimmune inflammatory condition which causes significant pain when gluten is eaten. This is not at all acceptable. Fix your menu. And maybe brush up on what gluten free means.

Just bought the cajin chicken salad....as im eating and looking through the salad, im seeing far too much grey and green chicken to be comfortable. Not confident that fresh chicken was used to make this salad....think this salad is a bin job. Disappointed, hungry and out of pocket.

I don't normally write reviews anymore, but I need to make an exception for Commune. I had the chicken Karaage bun, and you need to too. My soul left my body on the first bite. The chicken is so tender and juicy you will never want chicken again. The kimchi is beautiful, not too strong, but sharp enough to let you know it's there. The egg was fried perfectly. I got it without cheese because my stomach is weak, but my mouth waters just thinking about it. Please open a cafe in Brisbane. Also, the waiter was hilarious.
