Loved this cafe, was one of my favs for my visit to GC. The only reason for the 4* rating is that it took 40mins to serve breakfast, and there was only two tables ahead of us in dine in. The food itself was delicious and the staff were very friendly and added to the vibe of the cafe. We ordered the big breakfast and the pancakes for breakfast. The big breakfast was tasty but probably had a little too strong a tomato flavour in the smokey beans. My husband really enjoyed the pancakes. A highlight was the caramel and banana muffin and the hot cross bun, oh and also the peppermint and cacao latte! So good!

Glorious! Such a chilled vibe here, with earthy tones and timber everywhere, it’s a very “real” place. Coffee. Soooo good!! And an amazingly delicious selection of tasty treats to suit any sweet tooth. A welcome focus on sustainability, and supporting all the dietary preferences that permeate our society nowadays. This place is well worth a visit for an indulgent treat, or an artisan loaf. Enjoy!

We visited this place while on family holiday and it was way better than I ever expected! All health food and they make almost all of it on site. We will be back each time we visit the Gold Coast

I ordered a Cheese and spinach roll with a large chai latte. The roll had very little flavour and was 11 bucks! Unbelievable... The latte also had no flavour, only to find everything at the bottom. Btw 1 suberb over in Nobbies that's a small cup. Unless you're a tree hugger, don't waste your money. Place is only getting business because lack of competition in area.

Came here for breakfast this morning for the first time with my daughter and her partner. I had the breakfast wrap and iced tumeric chai latte, absolutely delicious and incredibly filling, I had to bring the other half home for lunch! Beautiful, healthy, nutritious food for the body and soul made with love 💓 (the pics don't do justice to the food which was so vibrant and colourful)

As someone who is vegan and gluten-free, at most places I can only have a small part of the menu to choose from. At Marie Anita's the options were endless! We ordered pancakes, pizza, coffee, a smoothie and a takeaway pastry and it was all SO amazing! Definitely my new favourite cafe!! The food is delicious and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Loved this place. Between my hubby and I, we are intolerant to gluten, egg and lactose. We barely eat out and going away on holidays are always difficult. So you can imagine our excitement when we came across Marie Anita's while staying in Gold Coast! Let's just say that we were a regular in the 3 days we were there. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great. Tried so many things on the menu but loved their juices, decaf latte and those beans in the big brekkie were to die for. Sad you guys don't ship to Sydney!

I ordered the pancakes. The top pancake was fine , the two under were so dry. Probably a couple days old reheated pancakes. My chaï latte tasted more like milk than chaï. The juices are way too small for the price. It’s a no for me. Waste of money.

This place is great. Everything is gluten free and almost everything is dairy free. Lots of options between coffee, bread, muffins, and proper food. I really enjoyed this place. The only call out is that we did have to wait 40 minutes for our food to come out after ordering. I'm not sure if this was a one-off or a regular wait time.

I had a delightful experience at Marie Anita's Cafe in Mermaid Beach! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For a person with celiac disease, the range of gluten-free food options here was a true treasure. It's not often that I find a place with such a wide variety of delicious gluten-free offerings, and it made dining out a real treat. But it wasn't just the food that impressed me; the staff were equally wonderful. They were not only knowledgeable about dietary restrictions but also incredibly friendly and positive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's evident that the meals at Marie Anita's Cafe are crafted with care and love, making it not only a tasty choice but also an investment in your health. Whether you have dietary restrictions or simply appreciate a great meal, I highly recommend this cafe for a truly enjoyable dining experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Marie Anita has wonderful coffee, and delicious gluten free/vegan food options. We were so impressed with the kind service we received and conscientiousness regarding food allergies. This was also the only venue we came across in the Gold Coast with any sustainable practices. My daughter adored the fairy mural and decorative carrot cake. An absolute unicorn of an establishment 🥰

Hidden gem ! Amazing organic bakery and brunch with delicious juices and gorgeous little garden courtyard out back. Such a nice nurturing little haven away from the traffic. Highly recommend !

I can’t recommend this place enough. The atmosphere is very cool and chill. The food is just amazing. As celiac, I found sometimes difficult to find excellent gluten free food and at a normal price . This place is the right place if you want some food for the soul. Plus all the mugs they use are just too cute.

So nice to find a place that is 100% gluten free. The meals were not large, so I ordered a second dish.

Recently my family visited the gold coast and since they have multiple allergies we visited Marie Anita's cafe. Wowsers how impressed were we (ended up going nearly every morning for breakfast and took multiple pieces home with us). The food was amazing, tasted delicious, presented beautifully and the service was A1. Coming from Melbourne (which is known for its food) Marie Anita's was honestly the best gluten/dairy free cafe we've ever been too! Very highly recommend

Loved the food here and the atmosphere is amazing, they have a beautiful big garden space nesteled in a busy suburb that feels so peaceful ✨🍃☀️ the cabinet food and especially their gluten free pastries are amazing 💗

We stopped here for breakfast - I was attracted by the gluten-free menu The meals are mostly plant based. I had buckwheat pancakes - delicious, the raspberry jam on top is full of raspberry flavour - obviously made from lots of real raspberries. My partner had the big breakfast - a large meal, enough to satisfy any big appetite. Happily eat here again

Went here for breakfast. Some friends who ordered their meals asked for eggs and chose poached eggs as an extra . I ordered poached eggs too and was told they could only do fried (presumably they couldn't be bothered poaching them?) They took out my big breakfast without the potato hash, making no mention at any point that it was missing. I realised it was missing and had to go to the counter to query and the man at the counter pretended he couldn't understand me and then said ''Oh yeah we ran out, would you like an extra egg?''.... No I don't want a $2 egg to replace my $6 potato hash..... After a bit of back and forth I requested a small vege roll from the cabinet to compensate. It was quite obvious they were hoping I didn't notice that they had ran out of potato hash... They should have mentioned it at the time of ordering or soon after so another breakfast item could be ordered. Very disappointing and will not return. Food was pretty good otherwise.

Smiling faces and a couple of great items from menu and I was on my way happy. Had the smashed green peas. Other half was very impressed with the bread she took away as well. The take away vegetarian rolls won big points with daughter!! A pity we are on the move but am sure the seeded loaf will serve as a tasty reminder

We have been visiting Marie Anita’s on and off for many years, ever since they were at Burleigh Heads. The food and service have been consistently above average. As a family with members who suffer from allergies to wheat and dairy, Marie Anita’s is a God-send. Despite recently changing hands, the cafe continues to offer great healthy organic meals, good coffee, tasty sweet treats, and delicious smoothies…not too mention the bread!

We visited with 3 dogs! They have a lovely, very quiet, shady eating garden out the back. It felt very relaxing out there. The food was great, we had a lovely brunch, and the portions were very generous. The vegan feta cheese was great, and bread and snacks were also taken home. We all said we would return.

Purchased bread on Tuesday warm freshly cooked. “My partner is told when waiting it will be 1m before it’s out of the oven - 25m later it’s ready” Get it home, cut it up and leave it to cool then place it in paper bag and leave in cupboard (cool environment) put it in the fridge the next day.. pull it out today to find it’s mouldy. Just over 48 hours after purchase, I’m told it’s a storage issue and should be refrigerated a couple hours after it comes out of the oven? Manager/Owner offered that I can purchase another loaf half price and denied a refund. It’s nice to try and support local business with what they seem to promote however I do not recommend this business at all.

I absolutely love this place! The vege “sausage” rolls (how the heck do they taste so good?) and green salad are my favourites. Incredibly wholesome, tasty and beautifully presented food. I Thank you 💛
