I
headed
into
the
shopping
centre
to
claim
all
my
birthday
freebies.
Got
my
Boost,
a
GJ
coffee,
some
free
chips
&
wanted
to
get
a
muffin.
I
found
Muffin
Break!
Normally
I
go
to
the
Garden
City
store,
but
we
were
watching
a
movie
in
Robina
that
day.
The
lady
smiled
at
me
when
I
popped
in.
She
said
hello
to
which
I
said
hello
back
and
said
I’d
like
to
claim
my
free
birthday
muffin,
holding
up
my
app.
Her
smile
was
instantly
washed
away
and
I
was
left
with
what
seemed
an
emotionless
human
‘serving’
me
from
then
on.
She
said
“you
tell
me
which
one”
and
so
I
pointed
and
asked
politely
“May
I
please
have
that
one
with
the
white
chocolate”.
She
then
proceeds
to
bag
up
the
muffin
in
such
a
way
that
when
i
eventually
opened
it,
there
were
marks
from
where
she
had
taken
her
displaced
anger
out
on
the
muffin
when
scrunching
the
bag.
She
popped
it
on
the
counter,
said
“yep,
thank
you
ok,
bye”
Now,
I’m
not
sure
why
I
was
treated
like
a
thief,
when
she
was
the
one
who
stole
MY
enjoyment.
She
didn’t
ask
me
if
I
wanted
it
microwaved.
I
realised
this
after
a
few
steps
out
of
the
store
and
was
going
to
turn
around
and
go
back
and
ask
her
to
do
that,
but
I
thought
hmmm,
no
better
not
it
might
make
matters
worse.
Thanks
though,
to
the
cafe
down
the
corridor
who
kindly
microwaved
the
muffin
for
me
in
place
of
muffin
break.
I’ve
read
a
few
reviews
about
this
store,
mine
is
purely
my
own
from
my
own
experience
and
not
biased
from
others
reactions
to
their
own
dealings.
Love
the
products,
don’t
like
some
of
the
operators.
Please,
help
this
store.
