Nice place. One of my favorite place in Goldcoast. Friendly staff has here and food menu is reasonable price. we are not well english though, they were kind us. I higly recommend menu is Steak sandwich. Super crispy bread with nice steak. I always take order piccolo latte here, that was quite good either. I will visit again at next week 👍🏼

Service was impeccable 👌 a gorgeous woman who was running the whole show on her own and doing a fabulous job. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and love that it came on the most delicious fluffy Turkish bread. My partner got the Big Breakfast which he absolutely demolished it was so good. Also ordered a coffee and a chocolate frappe. To die for 😍 We will definitely visit again before this holiday is over.

I went off breakfast. I ordered a merlo coffee that was great and a big breakfast. The big breakfast was $9.90 and great value. The only fault was the dry sausage. But at the price point I was not disappointed. Great location on the broadwater at Labrador. Big spacious cafe with a massive menu. Must try for locals or tourists.

Good sized portions, friendly service. My Chicken Schitznel was tasted processed so the flavour was just ok. Other than that all good . The menu had lots of fresh foods which is why we came here . Great location on the Broadwater in Labrador. Plenty of parking along the promenade.

Normally go to Coffee Club or one of the other coffee shops in the Aqua building, all I can say is.....I will not be coming here again. I've never been anywhere where you get just 6 chips with your meal. My friend ordered the breakfast for $15 plus drink ,it was okay but no sausage or hash brown 😔 and next door are doing similar for $12.90 and includes a small coffee, tea or or juice.....come here if you like to pay a reasonable price for a small meal or drink. Cafe 4 U is a better bet.

Best place for brekkie. Amazing food and great customer service. Foods are fairly priced. We loved the fresh juice. Grilled chicken sandwich is our all time favourite :)

Affordable and handy - we just love this place - great service, breakfast stack is legendary and has been on the menu for 10 years it's so popular. Really great coffee but the banana bread is the best I have ever had.

I have been to this cafe before and the size of their breakfasts have dramatically shrunk. I had the lime avacado on toast. It was so small, it was the size you would feed a two year old. I will never go back there again. I've never written a review before but I was so disappointed I wrote one to warn others.

The good points: Service was quick, bacon was crisp, hashbrowns crisp, poached eggs were cooked just right, bread was good quality and nicely toasted. Easy breezy sunny atmosphere by the broadwater. We came here on a very last minute decision and although the breakfast stack we got was pretty good (3.5 star), I couldn't get over the disappointing and distinct taste of the faux hollandaise sauce out of a jar/can/bottle. A breakfast Cafe should prize itself on making it's own homemade hollandaise and using the prepared kind just ruins the flavor and freshness. Especially for the high prices. Even in roadside diners back home in the States they would have housemade hollandaise, so there's really no excuse. The other thing our stacks were missing was a 2nd egg, I understand for aesthetic reasons a second egg would "ruin" the stack look, but when dining out, all breakfast dishes should always include at least 2 eggs. It's a basic unspoken rule. We added an extra egg so our breakfast ended up being like $26-$27 each plus the price of drinks, which I thought wasn't worth it, as I could've made breakfast myself at home. Not to brag but I actually make an awesome American style brunch dish of buttermilk biscuits topped with shredded crispy hashbrowns, peppery sausage gravy, spicy salsa poached eggs and melted cheese, frequently requested by friends and family. 😋🤪

Fresh, tasty and value for money meals, plus good coffee. The staff are also friendly and attentive. The cinnamon French toast with caramelised banana, bacon and maple syrup was delicious, so was the Sourdough breakfast bruschetta with poached eggs, tomato salsa and feta cheese. Highly recommend Cafe Gold Coast.

12/02/2022 First time visitors to this AMAZING establishment. The customer service is on point. Our meals, Big Brekky, Pancake Stack with Caramelised Banana and Home-made Caramel Sauce we're delicious. Our Ice Caramel Latte's we're also amazing especially with Oat milk. Will definitely become regular customers. Thank you all for the wonderful experience. 13/02/2022 Came back again the following day and again, this Cafe did not disappoint. Super happy customers and we were glad to have visited at the time we did as it got super busy, which resulted in a queue of customers waiting to dine in. A sign that this Cafe provides quality food and customer service.

The pizza is among the best of the lower River and the setting where it lives is unbeatable. There's a big deck, umbrellas for shade big picnic-type tables, gorgeous views and a flock of blackbirds which are nervy when you're not watching your crumbs.Like an exotic flower that takes its time blossoming, Gold Coast is blooming with passion and imagination.

This used to be my favourite cafe but it is unfortunate that if you have something to say to a client the proprietor cannot approach someone quietly and politely but has to yell it loudly across the cafe so as to humiliate someone unnecessarily in front of a full cafe of people. There are ways to make someone aware of something without humiliation and disrespect. This is no way to treat a regular customer. Evidently familiarity breeds contempt. I wish this business all the best as the food and coffee and location are great but unfortunately I will not be going back for similar treatment.

The prices are great and the service was exceptional. The environment was very comfortable. I never felt rushed and I think I was out the door right when they closed! I would be a regular if I lived in the area. The rice was well cooked and the lamb was perfect. It fell off the bone and shredded nicely. Raisins added a great touch of sweetness to this lamb dish.I ordered Manto and cannot wait to eat this again. A plate of dumplings using a light, thin dough, filled with seasoned ground beef. They were topped with yogurt, a little chili oil (maybe?), red lentils, and cilantro.

This place is great. Prices are very reasonable, food serving is fantastic, and the food is delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived and they were packed to the brim. We asked if they had any tables for five of us and the lovely lady said she would sort something out. We waited a bit, maybe about 10 mins, for her to sort out the customers that were already there and then she sorted us a table after some others moved. We ordered quickly as we had our minds set on the big breakfast (as per one of our friends suggestions who frequents this cafe). The fresh juice was very good. The food itself took maybe about 25+ minutes to come out, but as I could see, they were understaffed (as many other places are) so that was understandable and we sat and talked while looking out at the water until the food arrived. Overall a great experience and will be back next time I am down the coast.

Myself and my partner come here often for great food, great coffee and great service!! Some of the best eggs Benny on the Coast it’s tucked away on Marine parade over looking the water. This place is always consistent with their food and coffee it’s amazing.

Amazing little cafe - sit outside to see the water or inside to keep warm with a complimentary shawl for those cool mornings! Service was quick and polite. Downside was there are no table numbers so when you go to pay you feel uncertain they have the right order! I did not have the order confirmed with me. Great menu - we had breakfast at noon while others were ordering burgers and chips which looked amazing!

  • 3/5 David S. 2 years ago on Google
Nice little Cafe staff are really friendly and the coffee was really nice with good tasting brew. The food looked really nice and was well priced. It was quite busy some they are obviously have a good local following. I had to subtract a star as they don't have almond milk, which is quite strange as really the stuff does not expire.

Recently moved into the area and this is my new favourite spot. Coffee is delish & everything I've ordered to eat is amazing. Staff are always accommodating and friendly. Weekends are crazy busy here so reservations are a must. Pretty much a regular here now - the best cafe in the Labrador Marine hub.

A little gem of a place. Distinctively Gold Coast! Huge portions of tasty food. Great coffee and really good service. Cheap (in the nicest sense of the word) and very cheerful. I would highly recommend this place to anybody except a food snob. We have come a long way on the Goldie in the last dozen years, thank goodness.

Cute little place, and reasonably priced. Went here for breakfast, and they had actual hollandaise sauce. Seriously, and apparently, Hollandaise is hard to come by in the gold coast.

Have been here twice in the last month and it is officially my new favourite breakfast place. Friendly service, incredible food! I got the hash Stack and my partner got the big brekky. Everything was perfect and my soy coffee was one of the best I've ever had.

Zero recommendation for the food and coffee. Cappuccino was half a cup of froth. Ordered Bruschetta and paid $4.50 extra for avocado and feta. Couldn't see or taste the feta, and so little avocado couldn't taste it. Beyond disappointed. Won't return. Won't recommend.

We had a pleasant lunch here - the food was good / average as well as the service. I had an open grill chicken and my husband had the classic burger. I would suggest a larger bun to fit the patty etc on. I was pretty tempted to by a $2 slice in the cabinet!

After a nice stroll along the shore of the Broadwater we stumbled upon this nice little cafe. The Outlook was exceptional in the morning with the sun rising over the water. The place is small it feels spacious with plenty of room to move around he was even apparently got pushed through with ease. Breakfast menu leaves pretty standard as far as breakfast go but the portion and meal size when they arrived to our table was incredible. The flavour and the freshness alongside the size of a meal added to great value for money. All in all the cafe was nice The Outlook was amazing the food was great value for money and my coffee was delicious. Unfortunately they don't serve almond milk. The only option was soy or lactose free, that is the only reson for a 4 star not a 5star.

To the tourist, it's a simple bodega in 16th Street Heights with every staple you want from fine wine and cheese to ziplock bags. However, to the local, it's a gathering place serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and a decent cup of coffee at that. There are a few small tables and window seating with plugs so you can bring your computer!
