It was okay it was a great park but the staff unfortunately went the best trained. It takes more than half an hour to have one ride. so in one hour you get two rides if you’re lucky. Sometimes there are only two or three people on the lake when they could had up to 6. I was disappointed in this and I don’t think we will come there again. When we got there and we went to pick up our gear there was no one there to help us which I was very surprised that for the money that you are paying. There was a sign saying you want to pick but there should be someone there when you pay 40 bucks an hour. It wasn’t overly crowded so to wait more than half an hour to get one ride is a bit of a joke. And it’s only because of the operator. Whether they try and slow you down to make you pay for more but unfortunately because of this we would never go again.

First time for my 10 yr old. What a great experience. There was an employee there with a strong UK accent. He was so helpful and gave some great instructing. Good facilities, good safe equipment. Take your kids, they will be back for more.

I love seeing my boys and their dad spend an active couple hours most fortnight’s here at the wake park. On occasion even our little 7 yr old girl will go on the knee boards. I personally love grabbing a couple of wines and some food from the cafe and watch them all. Win win for the whole family.

Came here a year ago and haven't left. My young fella loves it, it has changed his life. Great community, great service by all, esp Jess in the kitchen she is funny and a talented chef. We are now part of this great community, really can't say how much we love this place.

Not a wakeboarder..but the other half is and I go to support and watch. The service from all the staff is amazing. They are so friendly and always trying to help. Food at the cafe is awesome and reasonably priced! Totally recommend this place for a fun experience #bustedskicrew

Gold Coast Wake Park is the best! I took my 13 year old son there with a mate for his birthday, they absolutely loved it! The whole vibe is bannging, with music playing. The young guys managing the cable were so kind, fun and encouraging! I'm totally going back for a go myself! Coffee was also great. Just wish we lived a bit closer, we would be there every weekend! Also a great workout. My husband and the boys all agreed it was a great workout 💪

Every time we have visited the wake park, all the staff are super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My kids have used both the aqua park and the wake park, and had the best time. Even if you're not participating in the activities, they've set it up so you can still have a great time. It's such a chilled atmosphere. So awesome having something like this down the road!

I celebrated my birthday at Gold Coast Wake Park in December and it was amazing! We took the whole family and had 20 guests come. The staff were so accommodating making sure our booked tables were reserved and all the kids were ready for the inflatable water park. The older kids and adults loved riding the wake boards around the cable runs. Would highly recommend to any family or for functions. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely awesome here. So much fun and has everything you need for a full family day out. Great food at the cafe, plenty of seating/tables and shade and just look at the monster slide!!! I got launched at least 4m out of the end of it, so so much fun. Kiddies loved it too!! 😁 Southport Aqua park is also great but in my opinion this one is much better

I came down here with the family wakeboarding. It was really cool to see my nephew and niece learning to wakeboard in the lessons. They got to see uncle eat water a couple of times and had a good laugh. We had the best time. The staff are really friendly also. The food is also surprisingly really nice. They have a nice menu to check out. Worth checking out and bringing the kids down for some exercise or to learn something new.

This place is amazing! Came here 16/1/22 for my husbands birthday and there was so much to do. I love that there is a slower side and fast side to the lake! Husband and friends had an absolute ball on the knee and wakeboards. I took the 5 year old tiny human on the Aqua park and honestly it’s perfect for young and old. The lifeguards were onto it and were absolutely on the ball to any incidents or unsafe behaviour. Well done lads 👏🏼 Now the food and view…omg the food! We had chicken nuggets and chips for the kids, pizzas, chicken wings, smoothies and iced coffee and maaaaaaaaate it was all so delicious and fresh! It came out quick and all together which was great 👍 Then getting to sit under the verandah and watch the stacks and jumps on the fast lake was like lunch and a show! Thanks guys, you made my husbands birthday “the best ever!”

Absolutely love this place . we’ve held and attended many birthday parties here and had my daughters end of year football presentation here too . The staff are always awesome , polite and helpful and it just a lovely place to sit and have some food and a drink whilst the kids have fun .

Looks like a wonderful place to learn to ski.. it appeared to have all needed gear available..

My kids first started at the Wake Park doing the Boarding School program after school. They picked up wakeboarding fast and absolutely love it. Such a great place to chill and listen to music and watch the kids. Lots of shade, great coffee and facilities. The staff are amazing and always happy to help and answer questions. This has become our second home on weekends!

My son and I absolutely love it here, the staff are amazing always there to help, looking forward to making progress each time we come, we have gone a long way from not being able to do anything to successfully getting around the cable park thanks to the laddies challenge and boarding school for my son. Highly recommended

This is such a great park! All of the staff are so friendly, helpful and supportive of the kids. Jess cooks such delicious food here! Best place on the GC for breakfast. The service is definitely 5 star! We always feel so welcomed.

Love that it's well set up for any gathering you can think of, from Bday Partys, Bucks or Hens Partys, Work Party's or just A fun day out with the family.... All the staff are friendly and helpful. Best Venue and Amazing friendly team!!! It’s my happy place!!!!! Can’t believe how kind and helpful everybody is, Staff and Regulars!!! I was basically a beginner, decided to try wakeboarding following the birth of my son, for a hobby, to get me fit and out of the house, totally love it!!! Now I go weekly if possible, I feel so comfortable and am enjoying seeing some familiar faces. Meet up with some of my girlfriends for Lunch, a wake and a beer after!! Cafe is great too..

I booked a ride and play birthday party and it was simply amazing! Whatever you are paying Emma (event coordinator) you NEED to double it. She was amazing with the kids and always available if you had any worries whilst also hosting 3 other birthday parties! She is a machine and Rosie had the best day ever.

I have been visiting the Gold Coast Wake Park for over 12 months now and love the professionalism, support, facilities and customer service. As an adaptive skier I face many challenges yet everytime I visit the wake park the support around my disability is amazing. Gold Coast Wake Park now hold inclussion sessions for anyone with a disability to participate. The most inclusive activity for anyone living with a disability.

For an active outdoor recreation facility, the GC Wave Park rates highly. The facility offers outdoor eating places under shade and shelters for say birthday parties. The cafe is well rrun and provides a range of fast foods eg. pizza, chips, salads, icecream and drinks. If wake boarding is your sport, the shop is well stocked with everything for the beginner and advanced rider. There are classes for newbies. The prices seem reasonable too. The balcony is a great place to watch the board riders doing their circuits. Great exercise and fun for all levels of skill. At the far end, is a water park with inflatable floating amusements. Life savers and supervisors keep a good eye on the kids while they enjoy their activities. Parents can watch from shaded platforms onshore. You buy slots of time. My only negative is that the road into the park is rough and under-developed. Otherwise, a great place for all to find something to enjoy.

Boarding school is amazing !!! The coaches go above and beyond for the newbees. Very welcoming, fun and friendly atmosphere. My kids always leave with a big smile 😊 The staff have become our second family at our home away from home.

Great place and very friendly staff. There is a standard lake with obstacles for those who have ridden before and a slower, obstacle free lake for the learners. Lift operators always have helpful tips and Stevo went above and beyond yesterday to ensure my daughter got her first ever kneeboard ride, now she's hooked and has her own favourite lift operator.

Awesome place with great staff who are super friendly and helpful, especially if you're a beginner with no clue like me. Great atmosphere there too. Everyone was having a blast, staff, customers, and spectators.

We came to wake park with our son for first time. What an amazing place,from the moment we walked in, we received a warm welcome from staff members Kirstie and Brendan. Both of them were amazing, they went above and beyond to provide us with the best customer service. The food at this place is delicious, we were very impressed. Big thank you to the cook Jess. Great afternoon watching young and younger folks out having a blast. Good range of food in the café, decent amounts of shade to get to. Toilets were relatively clean.
