This gym has good equipment and a large space but besides that it’s horrible to train here. People are extremely inconsiderate, they will use multiple machines at once without towels. They do not put their weights back. People are loud and aggressive here, many bikies and other such degenerates. Not surprised to learn that someone was seriously assaulted here this week with a dumbbell. Not to mention there are never any parks and you constantly have to park out on the dirt outside. Don’t go to this gym.

Used to love training at this gym but recently it has just become a place where they only care about you if you spend extra money on PT sessions or classes. Certain equipment like 10KG and 15KG bars not accessible 24/7 unless you sign up for classes as they require all 8 of the bars only to use at most 6 while the others hang on the wall, and as a very small female still not able to lift heavy weight this makes it near impossible to progress in my fitness journey. Also the class has started blasting its own music playing over the top of the music playing in the gym so if you forget your own headphones it makes it very difficult to concentrate and almost always results in a headache. Recently I have found myself skipping gym as these factors have caused me to fall out of love with gym.

This gym is almost perfect but the only downfall is that it gets over populated around 4-9pm

I usually train at world gym in Brendale but visit Sanctuary Cove as we a boat moored there so I come to Coomera World Gym to get my sweat on. The gym has everything you'd expect from a World Gym and most of the equipment is extensive and top notch. My only criticism is that they need to replace some of the Cardio equipment as it is extremely worn and dated and most of the TV'S are broken or on the way out. 5 stars to be had once these two things are fixed.

I hardly ever write reviews but World Gym Upper Coomera has been a very good experience for me and after lots of looking at other local gyms, suits all my needs (classes, gym, equipment, energy, and creche....PARTICULARLY creche.) I have two year old twins and I can honestly say this is the best childcare one can possibly get for such a modest fee. Naomi and the staff are so nurturing and warm to my kids, attentive to what their needs are on any particular day and very professional. They also work extremely hard to keep everything clean and organized for kids, creating activities for them and keeping them engaged the entire time. I do not have to worry while I am training that my kids are bored or neglected. My toddlers also LOVE the ball pit and climbing equipment. They get exercise while I do so it has made going to the gym as a family a very positive and happy part of the day!

Honestly cannot fault the gym, great facility with plenty of equipment and really friendly and welcoming staff. The only unfortunate issue I had was when I went to cancel due to relocation. My final payment of my membership which was a couple of days prior to this I was charged extra for something I had already canceled (WG Athletics), yet was told when I paid my cancellation fee that it was discounted due to this ($50). I was also told that my final payment still stood and I was able to use the facilities until February 20th, however my tag was canceled immediately. And when I enquired about it, my response was that the discounted cancellation fee was actually due to my final membership payment just days earlier. Aside from what I was actually told, this doesn’t add up. Regular membership fee: $90.79 Overcharge on my final membership payment: $38.99 Discount on the $200 cancellation fee: $50 I will also add, this was not the first time I had payment issues with this membership. Very unfortunate way to have to leave a great facility and team.

Visited there this morning, contemplated joining as I work around the corner. This mornings experience made that a definite NO. No hello or even slight feeling of welcome nothing, had to say visiting, gave money and got a thanks and I will let you in. Upon leaving, same vibe but was chatty with the Customers she was serving and making shakes for, I had $24 worth of drinks to purchase, no eye contact or a simple "won't be long" smile or sign of acknowledgement. I waited and when they left...no "hey sorry for the wait, how can I help" she carried on doing what she was doing until I approached the counter and put the drinks down. Still no "how was your session"...no nothing! She puts the drinks through and gets eftpos ready, I put the payment through eftpos and get a "thanks for that" I waited for the tyro to say approved and asked did it go through...in this time she is chatting to a member about what they need and comes back and says "should be ok" to me. No smile and looked like it was a chore to even speak. Summing this up, it appears the culture there is that if you are visiting and not known to workers, you are simply just a $20 inconvenience. Sad reflection of Customer Service guys, thanks for making my decision easy.

This would have to be the worst worlds gym around. Last few times I have been here the aircons haven't been on, the gym is crammed full of machines in such a small place that you have to zigzag threw the quipment. Weights all over the place and in the incorrect spots. I'd give it zero starts if I could. Do not recommend this gym what so ever. Very disappointing

It's definitely the best gym in the area. The staffs are friendly and always welcoming us. However, there are a lot of kids during the peak time (at the end of afternoon), and they have no awareness of time and space, spending a huge time on the machines. The amount of kids definitely could be limited during these time. They do such a big messy in the bathroom. It feels so disgusting. Also, I'm looking forward to the day where phones will not be allowed at the gyms. People are losing their purpose at the gym. Thank you. Hopefully this feedback will have some impact.

Asked a few times at reception for the functional area to be cleaned up. Not from people leaving equipment around but used, broken equipment, pallets and flooring. Its a super short sled track already so this is really impacting sled workouts

Love this place, from all the amazing staff to all the gym goers.... everyone is sooooo helpful and nice ❤️ So many classes available in person with one of the amazing instructors or Virtual. The facilities are huge and clean, love a shower and sauna after a workout, no problems.... they have that sorted for you too!! What's even better is that it's a 24/7 gym too. Highly recommend this location, much love to the whole WG family ❤️❤️

Really friendly but does get busy

I had a good time during my free trial, used the stepping and running treadmills, rowing machine and one of the upper ab exercisers. I recommend the facility. The equipment, layout and atmosphere seemed in good repair and safe for all. No one laughed at me, and they should have because I had no weights on the lower chest equipment and got tired very quickly :D

Absolutely love this gym been coming for years now . Staff are amazing ! Trainers are incredibly encouraging and all round positive caring people. We love all the classes . We just can’t get enough. Shout out to kels for always pushing and supporting us.

This gym is next level - the most family focussed, community orientated gym I’ve come across. The group fitness instructors, Kellie, Renee, Ainslee, Amy and Jacqui (just to name a few) are so passionate, friendly, and genuinely care about you. Everyone says g’day to each other. It’s such an incredible atmosphere and I don’t know many gyms with a group fitness culture like ours.

world gym is a place where you are surrounded with people who want you to succeed. No matter what season of life you find yourself in, this place offers nothing but support and encouragement. A place where your presence is welcomed and noticed, where everyone belongs. There have been times where my fitness has needed so much work, and I didn't have the strength to will myself through alone, I have felt the strength of others and seeing them smash through their goals, enable me to believe and achieve my own. Kelly and team have created a community here where group fitness is another level ! Our teenagers attend classes and are given the best early start at seeing the benefits mentally and physically that world gym offers. There is no struggle or pressure here to fit in, simply by being you, and being present, you already belong !

There's something for everyone at this facility from the machine/strength areas to the cardio deck. It gets busy at peak times but that is an indication of how good it is. The classes and instructors are great. The equipment is high standard and is continually being added to and improved. Can't fault it.

Absolutely awesome gym. Everyone there is serious about achieving their fitness goals and it rubs off on you. The staff always greet you when you arrive and leave. Huge amount of equipment to suit any workout. Lots of squat racks (I think there are 6 or 7), lots of cardio equipment, just a great place to come to.

The crèche at world gym is amazing, my kids love coming! They have fun and always enjoy different activities! The ladies are wonderful, welcoming, supportive, loving and caring! I can train without worry as I know my kids are safe and well looked after! Best crèche my boys have been part of! Thank you ladies!

What a gym😮😮😮always something happening. Friendly staff well kept gym. Group fitness classes with fun instructors and 24x7 Virtual classes. Fancy hot yoga ? They have you covered. Need a pick me up great range of supplements and gym clothes. Come and check it out. Ohh and they make a nice coffee. Creche available if you have little ones

I was visiting Australia and decided to come to the gym my family used while here. I got 1 pass for free to try the gym. That was nice to see if we would enjoy working out there. We were told they had a10 pass card. Since we only had just under 2 weeks in the country and with day trips for sightseeing we thought between 2 people we could use 10 passes. They would not let us both use the same card for punch passes. It had to be 10 passes for each person. We decided to pay once since we were there already but then passed as we couldn't use all the passes. Instead of making $150 on us and potentially not even using all of that... they got $40 and a not so great Google review. Nice enough facility, pleasant enough staff but poor business and not very accommodating to someone from another country looking to catch a few workouts. Very disappointing!

Recently moved from another local gym to World Coomera and couldn’t be happier! Great range of equipment, well maintained and great staff. Great vibe on the gym floor too! Highly recommend!

Large gym, friendly staff. However, the gym itself hasn’t been maintained, most of the equipment has cracks in the leather, there’s dirt and dust gathered between the machines. A lot of people either don’t wear shoes or wear in appropriate footwear such as crocs or slides while working out.

Every time I come to this gym, Patrick and Flynn on reception are always super friendly and make me feel welcome. They make the best hulk bulk shakes too!

Omg what a joke, if u want to cancel $200 A swipe to enter $100 but u can keep for ever if u want to rejoin. With all the deals going at other clubs people need to look around before signing their life away here.

Awesome place to workout. Both my husband and I are members and wouldn’t change to another gym for anything. I just had a baby so had to pause my membership and the staff were so helpful with all the admin stuff Ashleigh was so kind and patient. Can’t wait to go back and get back in shape 🥰

I'm appalled by the cleanliness, or rather the lack of it, at WorldGym Coomera. The gym equipment is blatantly grimy with layers of sweat and dirt. It was evident that the equipment had not received any form of cleaning in recent memory. The exercise machines were adorned with greasy handprints and the free weights were sticky with the residue of workouts past. The benches were decorated with sweat stains that told tales of a thousand workouts, none of which were mine yet left me feeling contaminated by association. The negligence was so glaring that I found myself cutting my workout short, not only for the sake of my own hygiene but also for my healthIf you value your health and hygiene, steer clear of WorldGym Ps: also, good luck trying to find a parking spot

So many different machines to choose from. A really fun atmosphere. I have been a member for just over a year & I feel so confident & welcome. My favourite thing is the crèche facilities. As a single full time working parent, it's great to be able to take my kids with me after work & on the weekend for a very small fee.

Have been attending for 3yrs now and absolutely love my time here, I have met some amazing people, trainers, staff and members. My little one has been attending the creche for 5 months and the team in the creche are amazing, inform me of my babies activities, feed him and take a real interest. I am very confident and happy with the care he receive as well as my own workouts!

Been attending this gym for about 5 months now, and I love it. I used to attend snap fitness, but I’m now in love with world gym. Staff n trainers are lovely. Gym aesthetic vibe is perfect. I’ve recommended this gym to a few of my mates.

I started at Coomera world gym because the kids world caught my eye but it has been definitely worth it! The ladies go above and beyond everyday to make sure the kids are happy and safe! I have never felt safer leaving my son with anyone than these ladies! They do great work here!

Best gym in the area. Been coming here for 3 years now. Plenty of equipment to choose from even at peak times. Staff are great, especially the ladies in the creche! Oh and try the shakes at the cafe. 5 star 🌟

When looking to go to a gym in the area, I had contacted a few local to me and World Gym were the only ones that got back to me. Personally I haven't been to a lot of gyms but as other reviews have stated, it really does have everything you need there. The good part is it has a range of fitness classes available, child minding, cross fit classes and personal trainers that can assist you with a plan. Personally I've never had any issues, the staff are very personable, helpful and friendly. Every time I've come in someone has greeted me and then said goodbye when I leave, which I'll admit I'm not always use to, but I like how the staff go to so much trouble to make an effort with every member. One thing I thought was great is the noticeboard in the gym which has information about various things, but one thing I liked is how one of the personal trainers at the gym has shared before and after photos of herself which I feel would be very encouraging for a lot of people starting out. If you are looking to get started with some form of fitness, I'd highly recommend joining World Gym.

Was hesitant after reading past reviews- But from the moment I walked in, I was met by friendly staff and other gym goers! It is huge compared to the gym I’d been to previous so it was a little overwhelming to start! I’ve now been for a few months and staff & members are great, and for a big gym there is a community feel about it. So much equipment, great range of classes, fantastic crèche and very reasonably priced!

Very close to Westfield Coomera as well as the entrances to the M1 motorway both north & southbound. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone keen to learn or continue on their fitness journey...
