I am lost for words! What an amazing culinary experience! We have walked past I like ramen countless times over the past years! We’ll be back again … and again …. and again! Everything, from the cocktails 🍹 to entrees to mains ….and Maddy (hope I got the name right) and the team are authentic and genuine! We didn’t get to take images of the mains as we were in a moment of gastronomic bliss !!! Flavour Flavour Flavour Fresh produce and love in in every dish we experienced … and the cocktails 🍸

16 dollars for NOT FRESHLY MADE noodles. "Pork mince" was unflavoured TVP. 8 dollars for a SINGLE Bao.

I wish I had found this place earlier! The food is delicious... So fresh and massive portions. The service was unbelievable, so friendly and helpful. My son (who is a picky 11 year old) loved his Japanese style fried "chicken" so much he said it's better than regular chicken... Unfortunately I didn't tell him it was vegan and not actually chicken. I can't wait to go back and try everything else.

Great vegan ramen and bao buns. Beautiful ambience. Waiting staff are nice as well. The actual wait time for our food was around 50 mins. And this is the only reason for not giving a 5 star review. I've been to a fair few ramen places and this was the highest wait I've ever had at any place. Was a Saturday but the kitchen seemed to be prioritising the take away orders over those dining in but not sure. Food was tasty and lovely. Slightly on the expensive end so would keep visits occasional. Parking around can be challenging too.

Outstanding food! Had the special ramen - black sesame, garlic and truffle broth along with the ‘duck’ bao. Both were very tasty with delicious flavours and textures. The ‘duck’ in the bao was particularly yummy. I finished feeling VERY content 😀🤤. A must try for all, even if you’re not eating only plant based meals. Looking forward to going back to try more of the menu (panko mushrooms) as well as the cocktails! The service was welcoming and friendly and the food made quickly and on time for my pick up. I highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻.

All veggie and the “duck” Bao was absolutely delicious. Ramen was also excellent. Great selection of cocktails.

Absolutely incredible. I’m vegan, my partner isn’t but he said the bao buns were some of the best he’s ever eaten! We ordered 2 combo ramens and that brownie was amazing 🤩

Someone franchise this place so more people can experience it. Vegan ramen?! That isn't just miso broth and badly cooked tofu?! YES PLEASE. Absolutely delicious and I very much appreciate the service, price and just the fact this place exists. Keep it up and I'll drag whoever I can through the doors.

100% recommend - BEST ramen I've ever had! The mushroom ramen was amazing, reasonably priced and the fake-meat was so incredibly realistic. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Loved every part, looking forward to coming back.

I’m not vegan but found this place quite enjoyable. Meals were of a great size and we loved the taste. Just remember, it’s not a Japanese ramen like you know it and it’s doesn’t claim to be. Staff were friendly (especially Indiana, and the Brazilian waiter, forgot his name, Sorry) and had a great funky vibe. Would visit again.

I would recommend this restaurant to my vegetarian friends. I am a meat eater. I ate the miso chicken ramen during my visit. The vegetarian meat inside has a smoky taste, giving people the illusion of eating a real smoked chicken. It is worth a try🍜but the ramen taste of the menu is not the taste of authentic Japanese ramen. It is a combination of Asian home cooking and soup. The environmental design is very artistic. There are many colorful surfboards in the shop. The atmosphere is very good. The clerk is very kind

Came here with my friends in the summer for lunch and had a wonderful experience eating here. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere of the place is really cool - there's even a surf shop upstairs! Great vegan ramen and gluten free fried cauliflower don. I wish this place was in Melbourne so I could go here all the time!

absolutely loved eating here, lovely laid back surfer vibe, very fitting as it is located so close to the beach ! massive portions too - we went for lunch and it filled us up for pretty much the rest of the day

So I've now been to I like ramen three times. First time, was just after it had opened. Food was decent, but ramen was a little bland and needed more salt, which is disappointing for a ramen place. Overall not bad though. Second time was close to perfect. Baos were tasty, ramen was well seasoned - everything was good. Third time however all of our noodles were undercooked, borderline raw. Broth was tasty, but as someone else mentioned "pork mince" was just TVP. As a vegan, I want to love this place, but sadlt the inconsistencies and lack of attention to detail make me feel that I will probably not return here in a hurry, as you never know what you're gonna get.

Fantastic vegan food, we had a large variety with a group and everything tasted nice. Friendly service. Only thing we didn’t like was the sticky table. Convenient ordering and paying versus a table computer thingy.

Way overpriced for what it was. I didn't even finish mine. I'd say that half of our group of 8 were disappointed when we walked out. Charged us extra without alerting us that there would be an additional fee (which is so so rude and bad business practice - it feels scammy). While admittedly not vegan/plant based, I'm also no stranger. This ramen was just doing too much and it ended up ruining a faultless, traditional dish. Half of the group did like their meals, so I'll chalk it up to personal preferences.

Great vibe and all dishes seem delicious!! 😋 we tried few ramen and we loved them all! Margaritas were also great specially the chilli margarita! Sad that wasn't live music as they had last year, but still awesome atmosphere, great service 👏 very fast, actually food arrived before drinks so i would recommend to order that first and while drinking decide what to eat! It's just so good that all was plant based! Would come back with no doubt!

The most incredible Bao and Cauliflower. I’d say the bowls are a bit of a let down and need some added dressing / flavour /crunch. The paying system is also a great an effective way to pay !! Perfect venue for a big group ! Mostly beautiful food !!

This is literally a vegans dream! Also for the meat eaters you would looooveee this too! The mushroom ramen was so rich and delicious, the bao buns were insane, the prawn cracker things were incredible and of course the karrage cauliflower delish too. Well priced, staff were amazing and live music was great too! Cannot fault one thing. 😊

Incredible food, you wouldn’t know it was all plant based and the flavors were amazing. Highly recommend the mock-duck bao buns. Cocktail jugs were really good too! Great playlist and atmosphere, and could not fault the service

Had amazing ramen here (and a rice bowl), love that it’s plant based!! All the food was amazing, especially the karaage cauliflower but didn’t have time to take a photo before we ate it 😍 would be great if there was a bigger range of drinks like yuzu or ramune to have with the ramen Service was 10/10! If you like spicy food make sure you add chilli 🌶

The ramen was yummy, great flavours, would just like to have seen more ingredients, I paid extra for asian greens and there was barely anything, and only three small tofu cubes. I would order again though, was delicious!

Aromatic, savoury and trendy. This restaurant is for the modern vegans to bring their friends or family, vegan or no, to indulge in genuine Japanese broth flavours to their heart's content and flavoursome substitutes for meat that perfectly represent a conventional bowl of ramen in Australia but made original. Ingredients are fresh and wholesome, and the Panko Mushrooms are an absolute must-try with crisp and freshly-fried panko batter and internal succulent flesh of the mushroom. Ordering was made easy through an interactive tablet and service was friendly. Recommended for teens and adults as the bar offers alcoholic drinks including cocktails and assorted beers on-tap. Ideally dinner time, perfect in the winter.

Can't believe this is the first time I've tried this place after so long! Purely vegan ramen menu is refreshing to see. Menus on the little ipads make it easy as. The tonkotsu ramen bowl (fake pork) was superior, would recommend! Also recom the spinach noodles to be included in your meal. Grabbed a shroom bao as well but honestly those bowls are so damn filling you don't need anything extra. Amazing flavours and spacious inside, can't wait to return!!

It's not ramen, it's veggie soups. Ramen in its simplest form is pork bone broth.

A family with children, we have just tried to eat there and got completely ignored by the staff as if we were not worthy, clearly not welcome. They saw us, saw us again, and again, as if trying to ignore until we were gone. If don't want families with children or whatever you don't want, just make it clear on the internet and we wouldn't have wasted the 30 mins driving!

A surf shop with a cafe underneath or a ramen noodle.shop with a surf shop on top. Either way it works. Beach culture meets zen, what else can you want?

The ramen was decent - it’s definitely nothing like proper Japanese ramen, but it’s not really trying to be. The flavours weren’t especially exciting but it was tasty. The bao were also a bit underwhelming. The karaage cauliflower was a nice addition though. I wouldn’t visit again of my own accord, but I’d happily eat there again if friends were set on it.

Vegan ramen with dynamic flavours and quality ingredients. They have definitely found a vegan niche - and the ramen is a highlight. The restaurant/bar has a good feel. A bit of a wait but it was worth it, staff were friendly enough and service was ok. A little pricey for ramen perhaps.

Amazing food. Friendly service. Best thing is that its just around the corner from where I live. Awesome tunes playing that doesn't burst the eardrums and my Ramen was delish!!

Having been here a few times already, can say that the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The food was good, but not amazing. The duck bao was a highlight from the bao trio (although $8 each is a bit too much imo - or $22 try try all three), and the ramen was fine but not overly flavoursome. I have only tried two ramens, and they are good enough that I am willing to give it another try, but don’t expect anything really tasty. It’s pretty much vegetable stock with some garlic and sesame seeds/oil. Worth trying. Although don’t set your expectations too high and you will enjoy it!

A truly amazing experience. The food was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend the panko mushrooms, karaage cauliflower, chick'n miso ramen and sticky date ice cream dessert. Just as impressive as the food was the fast and friendly service given by all staff. This place has a great atmosphere and I cannot wait to come back. Do yourself a favour and check this place out!!!

Best ramen I've had on the GC! I had no idea it was a vegan restaurant but I was still going to try it and the food is delicious af. We ordered the Tonkotsu and Kimchi bowls with a side of Shiitake bao and we were very happy with the purchase. We also felt great after eating it where some places can have you feeling rough. The staff are awesome and they do have digital menus to book on and there's a sense of privacy when you need a waiter. These guys also serve alcohol and are in conjunction with a surf shop which is pretty cool. Regarding parking, I'd recommend Wave Street. Anyway, would go again and I'd recommend ☺️

If you like Japanese style ramen you won't like this place. It's like hipsters trying to make ramen healthy but it just ends up lacking in taste
