World Gym Burleigh has the potential to be a great gym. Good array of equipment although some are a little run down and the floor is a little tight on space and gets hell busy at times. However as a long term (5yr) member I have never felt welcome and struggled to get a hello or a smile from staff most days. There are a couple of friendly ones there but they are the exception and all staff should treat you as a valued customer. I have now taken my business elsewhere and hope they take this feedback on board.

OMG. I’ve trained at several gyms all over Australia and Canada but none compare. Over the past 1.5 years It’s become like a family to me. Everyone who trains here are always happy to help anyone. No matter if it’s their first day or their competing. The reception staff always go above and beyond. No matter if you have a bad day they’re always there with a smile and make you feel better. The personal trainers are always engaged with their clients and it’s awesome to see the commitment they have. Every afternoon it’s like going home. I couldn’t recommend Burleigh or any of the other world gyms any more.

I've been trying to cancel my membership for two months. on the first visit they informed me that there were 14 weeks left before I could cancel the contract, that is, a little more than 3 months. Last week I went back to the gym to check how many weeks were left before I could finally cancel the contract. and I am surprised by the information that I had already paid for 90 weeks. 12 weeks longer than the 78 week contract. In other words, two months ago when I was there for the first attempt and I was wrongly informed that I still couldn't cancel the contract, yes I could. Which makes me think that the person who helped me either didn't know what they were doing or gave me someone else's information. I don't know if the person didn't understand my name or if they typed my phone number wrong, I don't know, English isn't my first language, maybe it's the accent, I don't know, and I don't care about it. The problem is that now I'm trying to cancel the membership without the 30 days notice, they are accusing me of lying, that they need to investigate the case, what do you mean by investigating the case? Really? Do they intend to analyze 2 months of filming back to find the exact day I went to the gym? It doesn't make any sense. I went to the gym again this week and the local manager said she didn't have the power to make any decisions, the person responsible for this area was busy and could only resolve it the following week... well, I waited one week and went back to the gym again, after I didn't get any response via phone or email. Once again the manager can't resolve it and the person in charge is not there, he is sick, in the meantime, the membership remains on, they continue to be charged. This is disrespectful in so many ways that I don't even know the adjective for it. From what I've read in the reviews it seems this is a recurring situation at this gym. Poor customer care and service. They refuse to solve the problem in the best way. They accuse me of lying instead of a simple apology for the mess and for having given the wrong information to me on first attempt to cancel it. I had to cancel my card so that the charge would stop being made, as no one at this gym is capable of solving such a simple problem. Now I have the inconvenience of waiting ten days for a new card, transferring all my automatic debts because of this gym, that really sucks. My credit score is over 800/1000, I have no debts with anyone. I have already paid 90 weeks, 12 more weeks of the contract, what are you guys are? Hungry for money? I'm not going to waste my time going to the gym again trying to solve this. If you don't cancel this once and for all and continue charging 4 more weeks and put my name in the debt collectors just because I will not pay for the mistake that I did not make, I will take legal action against you.

Good range of equipment, not too busy mid-morning. Taylor was warm and enthusiastic to help us. Would recommend speaking to him if you’re new to World Gym Burleigh.

Love this place, best gym on the Gold Coast by far. Train here regularly when down on the Gold Coast. Friendly staff, great equipment, and an infrared sauna to top it off.

Been going here since January 2022 after hating the gym for years and now I am obsessed. The staff are super friendly and helpful and I always look forward to coming to the gym (which is something i never thought would happen😂).

World gym is one of the best gyms I have ever attended, the staff are lovely and everyone has a a vibe that can’t be matched. So happy I chose this gym 🤍

My favourite gym on the GC, can definitely be a little rough around the edges, especially with the cleanliness of some areas, though it's still by far my fav for classes, equipment and top, top people !

Top gym on the Gold Coast. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Equipment is 1st class. The classes and instructors are challenging and motivating.

Best gym, doesn’t matter what kind of training you’re into there’s something for everyone. Good range of equipment that isn’t seen in some other gc gyms, staff are always welcoming and happy to help. Might seem a bit pricy but you’re really getting your moneys worth here 👌

Amazing Gym, beyond the diversity of equipment, they are all in good condition. The good maintenance of all place is visible. We also have access to a lot of facilities here like sauna :)

This place is amazing! Great workout throughout the entire hour. Stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something new, which turned out to be a great decision. Trainers are knowledgable and very friendly, they make you feel part of the family. If you get a chance, give them a try.

Signed up and had to move due to work, did a gym membership transfer where I paid NO admin fee (apparently $79 for debit success to enter your bsb and acc, absolute joke) and they made the other person pay an admin fee. Wouldn’t recommend the gym to anyone. Completely dishonest and money hungry.

staff are very friendly, great array of equipment and impressive merch store with a shakes bar. love that they have a private sauna in the ladies room. my partner and I trained mid-morning and it wasn't too busy so most equipment was accessible. always good!

Dropped in while north of the border. You get a buff and busy atmosphere here which comes with the territory for the massive range of machinery you get and the reputation. How many gyms do you know of with 3x sets of cable machines (aside from another 2x smaller ones). This joint is a go to, works good for me to get my split done while on holidays and get a nice ex3rdperience.

Equipment is absolutely amazing. People are nice, gym is clean, has a sauna and decent supplement store. Parking situation ideal, vibe in the gym is like in an iron paradise. Would never join another gym chain and even though in Germany the gyms are incredible progressive in design and equipment, world gyms definitely take the lead in terms of machines and pure bodybuilding. Thanks guys, you make my prep a lot easier!

World gym it’s an great gym, amazing facilities specially after the renovation. Awesome equipments, amazing REFORMER PILATES, Power Pilates and Yoga Classes.

Great spot to get in a workout. Kind of crowded but that’s because the facility is so nice. Wasn’t hard to get equipment or anything but is clearly a popular gym.

Great gym love the atmosphere and staff but I do wish rhat there were more leg machines that are more beginner friendly as I have done gym work for years but by genetics I have quite the weak knees and I would like to lose thigh fat but alot of the leg machines focus on using your knees and whilst they do have ones that don't they are sympaly always in use and for being such a popular machine I think it's best to add more plus they don't take up much space

Every morning I get to the gym and I am welcomed by Ash 1 of the Staff who always has a smile on his face and makes you feel so welcome. The gym is massive, super clean and filled with positive happy friendly people. I've taken advantage of all the free classes too and they are so much fun. The instructors do their job so well and are so motivating. I would highly recommend this gym

I cannot recommend this gym’s crèche & fitness vibe enough! The carers at the crèche made my son feel immediately comfortable with the new surrounds, so Thankyou! The atmosphere on the gym floor is very motivating & I love the ease of accessing all the machines & equipment. Very happy to continuously visit this uplifting environment!

Good large format gym. Much better since the post covid upgrades and bigger floor plan. So many jacked people here which is good motivation, don't be a hater and complain about it.

Disappointed with World gym Burleigh, the staff have an issue with filming which is surprising as it is body builder central. I joined world gym as I am an online coach and have been able to film with my tripod for my clients and business for over a year and a half and now I am being told they have banned tripods. I understand if it was very busy but I train very early and always find a quiet spot.

Do not sign up, staff are extremely rude and not helpful. When I asked to speak to management about changing my membership the staff said that management were to busy to speak to me but I would be able able to change my membership without a cancelation fee. I made the necessary changes then they refused to honour what they initially promised and stuck me with a $400 cancelation fee. When I questioned the fee the staff accused me of lying and refused to help. Do not train there. I have since spoken to many past and present members who find the staff there extremely rude. Response to below comment from world gym: No option to respond on Google reviews so edited my review here, I never received a phone call from World Gym, I have an answering service on my phone so if they called I would definately get the message. Just another case of world gym saying one thing but doing another. If you provided that advice in the first place I never would of purchased the the third party membership. Your staff give poor advice and I have acted on that advice and now I am out of pocket. A simple "we apologize for giving you incorrect information, it's not common practice to forgo cancellation fees but considering we have made the mistake here we will not charge the cancellation fee in this particular instance" would of suffice. Very poor customer service

This one of the best gym center i have ever visited with a very good equipments and a very good instructors, since i visited this branch i feel some better changes in my body systems.

I love this gym. Clean and with modern gym facilities. Good customer service. I will visit them again when am around.
