This place could be amazing but it is tired and needs a revamp, i am surprised that the Health Department hasn't inspected this place, its a cess pool of filth. Tidy it up EMF this is reflecting terribly on your brand. I mean have you even looked in the sauna for example?? Reply to EMF Response: Funny how you dont address the core complaint and and try to discredit my complaint - very professional and mature of you. Some businesses would embrace a review like this to welcome change and actually revamp the place but you have just shown your true colours and this attitude will actually see members leave and your business more than likely close, i have seen it before. How about "Scot, you are right the Gym needs some work and we have a plan"... etc..

I signed up a membership because I really enjoyed the bootcamp class which was mainly outside. Now, this stopped apparently because running outside is too dangerous. Well, if running around the pool or on a carpark is too dangerous we could use the Jock Rutherford Park on the other side of the road. Or let me sign a waiver so the risk is on my side. I work everyday 9h in a office and really enjoy not having to do the same in the gym. They even close all blinds in the gym so you can look outside and the aircon is way too cold.

STAY CLEAR! EMF have an absolute terrible payment system. A payment for my membership bounce back and I immediately had it corrected the same day and they still issued a dishonour fee. What a joke of a business. Definitely a good thing I didn’t enter into a lock in contract, I couldn’t imagine the hurdles I’d have to jump through to end my contract. Next chance I get, I’ll be terminating my membership.

Great facility with plenty of quality equipment. A bit tight on space but staffed by great people.

Mishandled payments and forwarded me to a head office which was mostly irresponsible and provided no valid reasons for why they wouldn't address fees charged on an inactive membership. Sadly great service ruined by management.

First time users beware of parking requirements and don't count on staff assist you with this. Otherwise you will be stung with a parking infringement as I have been.

Decent gym, odd layout but works - pool is the best feature!

Love this gym. Friendly staff, not over crowded and an amazing swimming pool. Love the fact you get surfers, harbour town and bundall gym included with the membership. Highly recommend!

Comleted my first ever Pilates class tonight after not training or doing much fitness for a couple of years, it was great. I did need to regress at stages but the trainer was encouraging and knowledgeable. The facilities are clean and the staff are lovely, especially Nicole. The team are doing a great job.

I enjoyed coming to this gym which is well equipped and has a welcoming atmosphere. I have struggled to find another gym closer to where I have moved to which is as good. The staff are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I often went to the Saturday yoga class which I thought was excellent. The outdoor pool looks beautiful though I don't understand why no one ever uses it. I had an issue with billing which was quickly rectified. I would recommend this gym to others without hesitation.

This gym is very hard to find. I wandered around for just under ten minutes trying to find it then when I got inside it wasn’t laid out very well. The lady at reception did show me around which was good.

Fix your sauna its been 3 + months absolutely unacceptable, the sauna is the number 1 reason I joined emf. It has been broken and pending service since October, I have recieved the excuse that they are locked into a service arrangement with a company and there is a 6 month delay to get a service completed - this is your issue, dont push it back onto your members who crave the ability for a sauna. Come EMF you are a commercial gym, get with the times.

Very nice gym.

Disappointed that equipment takes so long to be fixed here. I reported the fan in the group fitness room as not oscillating over 3 weeks ago and it has still not been fixed. It's not good enough in peak summer to expect people to train in a hot room.

Hands down, one of the best gyms on the planet.

I really liked todays power pilates class at 5:30pm. Great atmosphere, I hope the next classes will be held in the same spirit. The combination of power pilates and relaxing techniques with calming music were awesome. ❤️

It's ok, but a bit small and not too exciting. I like the one in Nerang better.

It's a good place and has a great pool, but compared to other EMF's this gym is still falling a lot behind in terms of equipments and mainly open space to do calisthenics and cross fit workouts.

Small centre with all the essentials. Heated outdoor pool. Sauna. Never busy. Great local gym to train at if your looking for a bit of extra space and a few less eyes.

The gym itself is good. The pool is great. It has a nice vibe and is well located. Disappointed in the lack of consistent knowledge across the EMF team. When enquiring about cancelling membership the girl at the front desk said I needed to come in in person to do so. When I contacted the front desk again I spoke to a different person and I was advised to send an email and was immediately provided with a cancellation form and then advised it would be cancelled in 2 weeks. I have since found the cancellation policy in the t&c's, however I think its important that staff know the answers to simple questions like this. Would have saved me significant time and some money. Positive = online team are incredibly onto it and respond very quickly Negative = lack of consistent knowledge across the team

Great community feel at this club - I always feel totally at home there. That’s attributed to the staff. Jamie ensures that the customer experience is awesome. It’s so nice to come in and feel so welcome and part of the gym family -I always leave feeling great
