On the beautiful goldcoast spit. Crystal clear waters and the best sand in the world, this place is better than waikiki any day!!. Lovely place to take the kids for a swim and lunch at a sheltered beach. The wildlife is amazing, and so is the sea life. Keep an eye out for dolphins, too. Be ware this is an un patrolled beach so no life savers here. Keep an eye on your little ones!

Great place to have a picnic. Benches and covered enclosures are well catered. There are no BBQ's, toilets are clean and well kept. Ample parking. Dog welcome on leads. There are limited sand beaches. Wheelchair friendly.

Such a lovely place to go walking. So many dog lovers walking their furry friends and people of all ages exercising. Beautiful views, excellent walking paths. So much action going on in the water to just sit, relax and observe. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Nature at its finest.

Great spot to go for sure. From relaxing on the beach or going for a surf or even a walk/run exercise. Catch ups at the park open field for kids to run and play, having a B/party or stop in and get yourself a bit to eat/drink from the restaurant and shop. Great way to start/finish the day.

Had a beautiful time at this park with a picnic, aerial rig and photo shoot with friends, amongst the airshow and hundreds of boats cruising about into the beautiful sunset. Complete strangers shared their grilled food and sunscreen (since we forgot ours!!) and overall an awesome place with plenty of parking, bathrooms, wildlife and scenery making a perfect day !!

One of Gold Coasts โ€œmust visitโ€ locations. Great place for a walk or picnic. Lots of people fishing. Iโ€™ve also been told snorkelling is great. The only issue is that traffic is a nightmare when itโ€™s busy. Also check ahead of itโ€™s closed for an event.

The spit is a fabulous dog beach, though my dog is not the friendliest, she's a grumpy old girl, she had a great morning. I keep her on the lead so she doesn't cause any trouble.

Lovely morning here. Walk to the light tower at the harbour entrance. Enjoy the cafe. Walk through the nearby forest, back to Surfers.

A great place to take the dogs for a run along the beach and to have a swim with them. Thereโ€™s 2 flagged areas with lifeguards (dogs must be leashed within 250 metres either side of the flagged area) and if the surf isnโ€™t your thing then the Broadwater side is another great option (no dogs though). There are toilet facilities half way down the car park and a few showers to hose off your furry friends (and owners too). Dog bags and bins are also provided at each of the beach entrances. Head there early to catch the summer sunrise and have the place pretty much to yourself. Just one of hundreds of great facilities provided by Gold Coast council.

If you like watching sunrises or sunsets.... though it can get pretty crowded during sunset. Watch out for the poor bush turkeys crossing the road. Great for cyclists going up on the dirt path off the main road too. Easy access to beaches, but they are unsupervised beaches.

You canโ€™t go wrong on this part of the Gold Coast here in Australia. Itโ€™s very scenic with lots of walking paths and water views. This is a large green space to do with whatever you please. Lots of area for a game of sorts or to just lounge in the sun. Views of the water are pleasant. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž
