HAVE A READ OF THIS PLEASE This place has a sushi bar. It’s downstairs at Cavill Avenue. Come down grab what you want and go through self service as quick as anything. Again surfers Paradise is the place to go for a holiday. Bright and sunny one day sunny there the next day cheers big ears

Bit of a disaster to be honest… there were things randomly thrown everywhere (pastrami by the water bottles, cans of deodorant on the floor, etc). Overall, we pretty much just got what we needed, and got out! Service was not very friendly either…

Good location for travellers to shop as it it conveniently located on Cavill Avenue. It is down on the bottom level and has escalator and lift access. Expensive and relate only small store though.

Central location, good stocks and fresh fruit, veg and salads. Bakery was a bit light on stock at 1pm, no wholemeal anything. Goldie residents must like all white breads 🤣

Pretty decent Woollies here, busy but no problem, got what I needed during a major GC event quickly. Excellent range too and of course great prices. Overall it's a real little gem of a Woolies.

A nice, fresh Woolworths located in the centre of Surfers Paradise. Everything was fresh, well presented and well laid out. Nice wide aisles and a great selection of foods for locals and visitors alike. It is always nice to see plenty of good self-service and manned checkouts available. The staff were friendly and always gave us a smile, whether it was a quick question or at the checkout. Very wheelchair friendly.

I have been a regular customer in this store for over 4 years. The shopping experience I have been getting there gets worse all the time. 1) They used to have permanent staff there, people I knew by their name - but now it's just a bunch of random casuals who have hardly any idea about customer service. 2) They have closed the serviced deli section - now everything is packed there (with reduced selection of course). There are hardly any specials there and you can't get small packs (150 or 200g) of any product (ham, salami, fish) 3) Recently they closed the fast service line which I have ALWAYS used. Now I am forced to go thru self-service checkouts which I hate. 4) The bakery section is a joke. They have plenty of stuff no one buys (cookies, biscuits of any kind) but there is hardly any good bread left after 11am (Pana de casa varieties or similar) When I go there after work all I can buy is cookies, croissants and $7 loaf of sourdough bread. It seems they are just counting on tourist customers who buy what they need and don't come back. But we locals see what's going on. The simple solution for us customers is to shop at nearby Coles. But why not try to fix these issues? Maybe Woolworths management higher up will read this and come to some conclusions and fix the issues this store has.

Surprisingly good variety of food and variety of choice. All fresh. From everyday good, pre prep to cook, ready to eat meal, and hot meal are available. Parking is tricky and expensive though

If you want to feel like a criminal after actually paying for all of your groceries at the self serve check out then this is your store. They treat everyone except the shop lifters like criminals and revel in delight at accusing you of theft at the drop of a hat.

Came in here to buy one banana as I always do before work and for whatever reason, it wasn’t working on the self serve. The man attending today refused to let me have just this one banana and said i’d have to buy more. Literally all I wanted was this banana and he wouldn’t let me buy it

In the basement of the shopping centre. North side entry, fairly well signposted so you shouldn’t miss it. Well stocked and staffed. Mostly self check out on exit. Clean.

Hoeray I finally found a supermarket! Big place with everything you need, so no complains.

Wow Woolies surfers has gone downhill. Haven't visited in a while as too small & cramped for me. Went last week and was shocked no more deli no more bakery. Frozen bread on shelfs & a few slices of deli meats wrapped in plastic & fridges full of softdrink. At least your trolleys are free to cart around town since your wheels always fail to lock. Only worth a visit for specials

Love the proximity within the apartment complex's nearby. Some stock was missing which we required, so had to buy another brand at a dearer price.Good layout of the store. My only gripe hence 4 stars is the bakery needs to sell individual rolls, when there's only 2 required and not a 6 pack. Hard to eat them all whilst on holidays.

Great place to go shopping for groceries and all essential needs. Prices keep on ascending, but that doesn't change the places quality.

Great to have a supermarket in that location. Good alternative to the overpriced convenient stores all over that place.

They had some free banana's for kids to eat while you are shopping. Good thought. Thank you 😊

Leading world wide publisher Forbes puts the question: "HOW TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE HUMANS" This Woolworths store couldn't answer that question because it hasn't entered their mind yet. Patchy management = patchy staff performance. Of course Woolworths has a clear policy on food quality and brands ... but say virtually nothing on expected staff standards or service quality. It seems performance culture is left to store management whose attitudes can be poor. This is bound to produce poor staff attitudes. WANT TO BE TREATED AS A HUMAN? It's unlikely in this store until management improves or changes.

The smell at the front entrance smelt funny and strange but that is the least of my concerns but what I am p****d off at is the self checkouts. Plenty there in total nearly all working but they care about opening half the machines and most of the other half was closed but ready to be used. Seems like that they don't care about que wait times here and customer service.

Great online shopping. Have been ordering for over a year now. They text me when I am next in line. Bring my groceries up stairs to my door. Past 2 months Reduction in quality of products. May 2022 sent me grapes ready for the rubbish. June 2022. Sent me Expensive Lettuce mostly damaged & very old celery. I prefer they say out of stock than send product I pay for & have to place in rubbish. September 2022 Order products received very inproved with fresh lettuce and celery
