Three words to describe: Cheap, Dirty, Overrated -As soon as I entered my room, I smelt an odd scent that I could not comprehend. -There are cockroaches everywhere!! On my veranda, the pool, the sauna, the lobby -Windows were grimmy and very dirty -Blankets looked donated, old and cheap-were very dusty, kept sneezing. -Rooms were dusty -Shower nozzle was broken -The overall atmosphere felt cheap and was not worth what I paid for ($1000 for 2 nights). Honestly could've stayed in a luxury hotel that cost way less. -Didn't feel relaxed, beds were uncomfortable to sleep in. - Pool area was filthy and smelt of chlorine. The roof was peeling off and tiles look like they haven't been clean since the open date Overall, the only thing that has satisfied me was the weather and the beach across the road.

View - 10/10 . Awesome view . Loved it. Room - 1/10 . Beds are old, mattress are very old and not comfortable, lounge sofas are marked and scratched . Furniture are very old. Toiletries are not provided properly. Overall Poor maintenance of room . Facilities : 1/10 - Outdoor pool was dirty . You can see ants in sauna room. This resort is in very good location . Its a good place to live if the rooms are properly maintained . If somebody is not bothered by the room maintenance ( hotel luxuries and facilities) , its a good place to enjoy view. I rate 2 stars for View .

Gold Coast’s own Fawlty Towers. Do yourself and your family a big favour, if you are considering staying here: don’t. Our experience: 1. The individual aircon unit in each apartment does not shift enough air to meaningfully cool the unit. We mentioned this to management who kindly moved us to a unit with the same issue but which had ceiling fans installed. Genius. I believe the individual aircon units in each apartment have been restricted by management to save on the collective power bill. 2. The shower was not hot enough. Despite running the shower for minutes with the hot tap turned to full and the cold tap turned to zero the shower never become warm enough to have a decent shower. I believe the individual water flow in each apartment has been restricted by management to save on the collective water/power bill. 3. The Internet is close to unusable due to a single NBN connection being shared amongst all hotel guests. Speed from my NBN service at home is on average around 30Mbps. Whilst at the resort my download speeds was 0.3Mbps (300Kbps) or 100 times slower than my $49.95 service at home. This is due to management only paying for a single ‘home’ connection then sharing it out amongst 200 or so units. 4. The resort has an extremely insecure network setup. Somebody located within or close to the building is actively capturing network traffic. I don’t believe management are across this issue but it is a direct result of the bad IT setup. 5. Hotel staff is rude. The standard greeting at reception is not: “morning sir, how may I help you?”, instead be prepared to be greeted with the far less cheery “what do you want?”. 6. The aircon system is filthy and has not been cleaned for well over a decade. In hindsight it is probably a good thing air volume was restricted...the aircon vents were so filthy that if they had been operated correctly I would have ended up with a fine coating of dust in my lungs. 7. The place is generally run down and poorly maintained. If you enjoy watching miserable people operate a miserable place then you will get a good show here...if you just prefer to have a good holiday then just choose any of the other places available and avoid avoid avoid.

While the external beach view is breathtaking, the slime clogging the kitchen sink so much that the waste plug was engulfed makes you gag. The broken floor boards that you trip over only to stub your toe on raised nails, the rotting left over food in the fridge and cupboards are also delightful. The gym was locked our entire stay (6 days), the furniture in the room had chipped glass, 1 cushion for the 4 chairs, broken and ripped sun lounge, stickers stuck on coffee table, blankets with holes, ripped and stained cushions on internal lounge, cupboard doors broken and out of alignment, worn holes and discoloured patches in curtains allowing sun to beam through, wrong size toilet seats on toilets, carpet coming apart in rooms, shopping trolleys to be used at luggage trolleys, but by far the WORST THING was the CAKED ON GREEN AND BLACK MOULD/BACTERIA on the air vents in the pool area and not to mention the look of the debris filtering through the spa jets. It was just so disappointing as it's a beautiful location and the staff seemed nice. We wanted to originally extend our stay by another 4 nights in total but after that we didn't. There was a variety of fresh pillows to choose from, there was a deep bath and good size balcony. as for the response I got from the manager, appalling. And I really approached everything diplomatically.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom superior room for 3 nights. The room was located on the 15th floor and the views were amazing. The room had everything we needed. Air cond, dishwasher, wifi and everything was clean and nice. The indoor pool was great. The kids had in to themselves for most of our stay. The hot spa was also fantastic. Will definitely stay again.

Our apartment was dirty, carpet stained and threadbare, rubbish still in bins. Overall $1500 for 7 nights was way too much. It’s outdated and in desperate need of a makeover . If you want to buy an apartment to rent out then you need to spend some money to update and keep clean. Not even enough chairs for 4 people . Lamp plug was broken, let reception know , thinking they would replace, no they put electrical tape around cord and returned ! Highly dangerous. The pool area needs repairing the roof is peeling and tiles dirty. Requested a certain apartment which we were told was all good, when we arrived it had been changed and we got another apartment. A courtesy phone call would of been nice. Would not recommend this place and won’t be returning . We did email reception with our concerns basically got fobbed off , not how to respond to paying guests.

We booked a 2 bdrm apartment here for two nights but couldn’t stay the second night because the air conditioner was so dirty we kept on sneezing and the apartment was not cleaned properly. Seemed clean at first look but found old chip packets and a child’s dummy under the lounge. They were renovating the indoor pool which was the only reason we chose this apartment over others on the Gold Coast so we could swim during spring. However there was no notification of its closure until we found a sign in the lift on arrival. Thankfully they refunded us our stay and were very nice about it, but we had to go and find another place to stay which ruined our holiday. Very disappointing experience…

Pacific Views Resort, Unit 1538: Pros: 1. Nice, quiet location across the street from the beach and just a short 5-minute walk to Tedder Ave and 10-minute walk to the tram. 2. Great, friendly, and helpful staff. Craig & Renee are so great! 3. Ocean views. 4. Washer/dryer in-unit with detergent. 5. Full kitchen with dishware, glasses, utinsels, etc. 6. Large, very spacious units. 7. Cafe and a 24hr 7-11 store is just steps away. 8. Accomodated my requests for an early checkin and late checkout. 9. No housekeeping, which I like since it increases privacy and reduces the risk of theft. Supplies are available from reception, if needed. 10. Bus stop located just across the street. 11. Easy on-site and street parking. 12. Good water pressure and super hot water, if you want it! Cons: 1. Wifi is very slow/unreliable. 2. Lots of nearby buildings restrict unit privacy, so I kept most of the window shades down during my stay. 3. Random stains on the carpet, furniture, shades, etc. 4. Some patio funiture is falling apart and should be replaced or removed.

Fantastic apartment. We stayed in unit 52 which was great- fantastic views, very comfortable beds, plenty of kitchen items. The staff were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back and will be recommending this great accommodation to family and friends.

We have stayed here a number of times but this time over the years we are very disappointed and angry. We had booked the usual apartment some time ago and had our payment requested in advance only to find we had been changed to an inferior and very basic apartment on a different floor certainly not worth the payment we had made.

Great view of the water, rooms were very comfortable and well laid out. Beach is just across the road and awesome restaurants and shops within a short walk.

We stayed 4 nights here on level 19 and had magnificient views of Main beach. We had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open living dining kitchen as well as a laundry room which came in so handy as we had plenty of washing to do. Also had under cover secure parking. After hour checkin was easy as we spent the day at the theme parks. Made use of the indoor pool and spa, but the outdoor pool was too cold for us. This place made our holiday extra enjoyable and have no problems staying here again.

We stayed here in June this year and the main reason for selecting this place was because we were holidaying in winter and wanted to stay somewhere central and that had an indoor pool and tennis court. We stayed for 5 nights and were in a two bedroom apartment on level 15. The apartment and views were stunning!!! We also had a wonderful experience with the lovely lady at reception (I think her name was Tracy). She was friendly, helpful and accommodating. As we went during off season, we felt it was very fairly priced for what we got. It had everything we needed and more. Having two bathrooms was great as we had two separate families staying in the apartment. The only area for improvement we would suggest is repair / re painting of the ceiling of the indoor pool area, as the paint is peeling off. However, this did not bother us or affect our stay. However, we can see how it may for others. We would definitely recommend this place to others and are looking forward to another stay here!

Stayed as a family in the 2 bedroom apartment. Great views, very clean, super comfy beds, lovely staff, great position. Across the road from the beach, park for kids within walking distance, 7 Eleven and Subway downstairs and a cafe as well. This place is a winner. 👍

Stayed here for 3 nights from Friday 12th to Monday 15th February. Really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend this resort which is great value for money. Superb location right across the road from Main Beach. The 2BR unit was clean and spacious and had superb views up and down the coast. The complex had great facilities and the management team were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

Good. Great Location, a world away from the crass and tacky environment the Gold Coast offers its visitors. The beach is a stone throw away and Tedder Ave, which doesn't disappoint, is 3 min walk. Our apartment had a great view and offered everything needed for a holiday, was clean and spacious. Check in was good, no complaints. If you're up here check out the great prawns sold straight from the Trawlers at the Marina and the Southport Surf club is an unpretentious but well run club for inexpense but good food and has, rare for the Gold Coast, a local feel to it. All in all a good experience.

Another amazing holiday at Pacific Views Resort, Main Beach, Gold Coast. The Apartment on the 18th Floor was extremely clean and well appointed. All the appliances you would ever need for a trouble free, relaxing holiday are included. Apartments are serviced after 7 days. The wonderful Nicole in Housekeeping is exceptional at her job. Personable, happy and professional. This Resort is close to not only the beach but Tedder Avenue. A popular street for fabulous restaurants and cool cafes. Wonderful reception staff always make you feel at home! Thank you Tracy!!
