Most the doctors just brush you out as quick as they can they really don’t care, spoke to a staff member today and it was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. Absolutely appalled with how I was treat. I let her know that one of the doctors was to quick and she instantly cancelled my appointment highly recommend not making these guys your regular gps

Don’t waste your time or pay unnecessarily. Wanted to charge me $80 for a very quick appointment on top of having me buy the vaccine from the pharmacy at my own expense of $34. EVERY other clinic does this vaccine completely free of charge, and stock it themselves. Wouldn’t kill the staff to smile either. I WAS NOT GIVEN THE VACCINE! I did not even get the script filled. Get your facts straight. Very smart move to edit your previous statement which is for 1) incorrect 2) a breach of patient confidentiality. Enjoy your dealings with AHPRA and the AMA.

Spoke to reception twice this morning regarding my sons vaccine appointment today which was changed 3 times and I had to find out through the Hot Doc App. First receptionist I spoke to was absolutely rude and said she would lock in the time I had asked for then hung up on me when I tried to speak. Not even a thank you or goodbye from her. I decide to open my email to find an email saying my sons time is a completely different time to what was discussed AGAIN and the rude receptionist messed up which infuriated me as she spoke to me as if I was a burden on her then hanging up so she DID NOT LISTEN to me or pay attention to our phone call at all. So I called AGAIN and this time got a more polite receptionist who was a different person and apologised for the mistake and changed the appointment to the actual accurate time. Some of your reception should take a class in manners and paying attention to how they do their job. The second receptionist was lovely and listened to me and did her job. The first one should find a new job. Disgusted. Won’t be returning after today. Pity for the doctors that the first people who are supposed to greet their clients are the ones who make us find new doctors.

I hate to do this because our Dr here is wonderful! BUT Every single time we have had to speak to a receptionist, either in person or on the phone, they are rude, snappy, condescending and quite obviously fed up. I don’t know if it’s a terrible job, uncaring employers or they are chronically overworked. Whatever is going on I feel terrible for all of them. The fact that I am only 1 in a long list of the same kind of review means this situation is a long term problem. I’m not sure anyone actually wants to feel so badly at work that they spend all day every day being so rude to the very people that keep the doors open.

Good morning my name is Andrew Wheeler and I am an existing patient of this practice. Last night I booked my adult daughter in, using your website, to see one of your Doctors for 8am today. She was there before eight and in the process of booking in was directed to see a staff member at reception. She was behind another patient waiting and overheard that the practice no longer bulk billed and she now had to pay a fee of $80 to see a Doctor. When it was her turn to be seen she felt she was addressed in a rude and condescending manner but agreed to pay the fee. The staff member then asked her reason for seeing the Doctor and my daughter told her she needed a certificate for work as she had injured her knee. The staff member said well that's work cover, why didn't you mention that when you booked the appointment. My daughter tried to explain that she did not injure herself at work but the staff member was too busy complaining and gathering un necessary paperwork and asking for her claim number etc that my daughter made an excuse and left. We went to Amtan medical centre across the road from you and got a walk-in appointment. For your information they are also not bulk billing anymore and charge $5 more but my daughter was happy to pay and said her experience with the staff was much better (a million times better her exact words were). So to summarize the experience: 1. Found out the practice did not bulk bill when she turned up for her appointment. A sign out the front and the website still claim you are bulk billing Doctors. 2. Treated rudely when she presented herself at the reception area (The woman was described to me as a mature woman). 3. Was not listened to by your staff member and berated for something that was a complete fabrication in the mind of a staff member. Three strikes and you are out. If the cost of being treated as a human being is paying an extra five dollars for a consultation then my family will pay that gladly. We do not have any issue with you changing from bulk billing to fee for service however I can not see that the decision was taken on the spur of the moment or without some lead time. I therefore can see no reason why the practice advertises itself as bulk billing on the signage leading into the surgery complex and on its website. I do not currently know what constitutes predatory marketing but I am certain that the department of fair trading will be able to let me know. FYI I have rung them already and they advised me to wait for your response. I hope you also take the opportunity to invest in some training for your reception staff to avoid alienating existing patients. In this particular case your receptionist got three for the price of one (myself, my wife and my daughter).

Dr Mohammad Zafar Hossain is the worst doctor I have ever met. My girlfriend and I have seen him 4 times over the last few years and he doesnt listen to what you say, I had an infected wound and he didnt even look at it before prescribing me the wrong antibiotics, he prescribed my girlfriend heavy antidepressants for sleeping issues, recently sent me for a blood test when the only way to test for what I had was a urine test, etc. He should not be practising and should be avoided at all costs. He is a danger to the public

Feels like a meat processing plant, doctors are quick to dismiss you with a script, but don't listen to you. Don't ask your history, don't check anything in your file. Had a flu jab, didn't ask me when my last one was. Didn't ask me when my covid shot was either. Very uncaring, very unprofessional. My kids have had similar experiences here. I come because it's convenient and I come for innocuous stuff, if I thought I had a serious illness, I'd rather go elsewhere.

So much for the hippocratic oath, money seems more important at this clinic. I made an appointment as I was suffering from asthma. The doctor examined me and charged for a long consultation even though the test took 15 minutes and then another 5 minutes with the doctor. He prescribed a preventative. I was perfectly fine with this. I then had to return a week later for a flu and Covid vaccination and spoke with the doctor for a couple of minutes regarding my asthma and he advised that all was fine. I then went to the Chemist to have the preventative scrip processed again only to find out it was a single script. I phoned the clinic and advised what had occurred and asked if the doctor could send a script with repeats. I was told that the doctor had gone on holiday and I would have to make an appointment to see another doctor. I explained that I had only seen the doctor in the last hour. The receptionist said company policy was I had to see another doctor. I agreed to a Telehealth call at 2.30pm. The call never came. I wonder if Medicare still got charged. Guys this outright gouging and you should be ashamed.

Worst doctors In the Gold Coast ! Firstly every time I’ve been I’ve had to wait nearly an hour past my appointment time until I got in. Then when I was seeing the doctor they have all been rude and unhelpful. He treated me like I was annoying him and prescribed me to the wrong antibiotic for my eyes. Would highly not recommend!!

Pity Dr. Uddin left…. Shocking management of practice as phones seems to not be answered. Reading through their feedback on comments, they are full of excuses rather than addressing the issues. I gave up after numerous calls each hanging unanswered for at least 10 minutes. Not sure why the word “care” is used in this practice……

I've tried two doctors here since moving to the area but won't be going back. Agree with another reviewer about poor personal attention & engagement, and excessive wait times in the waiting room and on the phone. Will drive 10 mins to my previous doctor at who is awesome and bulk bills 100%.

Just not the personal attention or engagement anyone would want from a Dr. No more than 1 minute spent on me. The second appointment was 3 minutes. The wait time of 25 mins and 15 mins for the seemingly first appointment of the day is not good. Today I was the only person in the waiting room. Dr entered maybe 5 minutes late and walked past with no effort to even acknowledge I was there. He had to make more effort to ignore me than say hello! Then I was another 10 minutes to see me. And pay on top which is never the issue for me but the cost does not come into this review but the value is next to nothing. I AM DONE. NEVER AGAIN WHICH IS WHAT I SAID LAST TIME BUT I WAS IN DESPERATE NEED AND THIS JUST PAINS ME MORE THAN THE ISSUE I HAD.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MY HEALTH CITY OR DR GREESHMA TUMMALA TO A SINGLE PERSON. I have been going to my health city hope island since it opened and even told everyone to go there from how good it used to be. past couple years though its been going down hill dramatically and its bordering on medical negligence. i went to dr Greeshma Tummala with chest pain and felt like did not listen to me at all when i was explaining my symptoms and i have proof she wasnt because she gave me a referral for a chest xray and the notes she had put down was not what i had told her at all. i went and got the xray and had to call three times to get the the results. the first time i called three days later (in the past my health city has always called me within 24hr even if there was nothing wrong in the results) and they told me the doctor would call that afternoon. no call. called the next day and told the same thing. this morning i called and samantha picked up and had no phone manners at all (i find none of the receptionists do) and told me i would had to pay to get my results. i told her i think its wrong to make someone pay for there medical results and she was completely unhelpful. if anyone would like an actual good doctor who listens to you i reccommend literally anywhere else.

Denise the receptionist had a massive attitude when i asked her if they did bulk billing. She also was muttering under her breath when i said i had flu symptoms. On the myhealth website they dont have any questions regarding cold and flu symptoms. However she was all smiles when I paid $82.01. I won't give the lowest review because my doctor did a good job. Denise fix your attitude.

I've been visiting this clinic for a number of years, and have found all but 2 doctors mostly get you out the door, script in hand asap without listening to problems. Recently have been pushed from 1 doctor to the next, due to staff leaving. I've asked 2 doctors if they have looked at my history, before giving advice, both said no! Reception has always had attitude issues but recently have become plain Belligerent, and argumentative, not interested in the patient or finding a solution. The practice is clearly Profit focused. By reading reviews, Owners obviously don/t care, because NOTHING has changed. Best advice to anyone considering this Practice... DON'T

I'm not a doctor person but as the years fly by we realise we are not indestructible. There was a very minimal waiting time .. good communication .. basically the service provided was what you would expect from any business. These guys so far have just done it a little better.

Great service. Always pleasant and as accommodating as possible . Only downside is that it is not all bulk billing anymore but the service is great. Attentive caring staff and health professionals who always have time to do their best. Highly recommend this practice.

We had a new doctor today and he was the first doctor to check history and confirm details with me and remove irrelevant info. Was happy to listen to me about my concerns, made a quick diagnosis but I didn’t feel like we were rushed or just being churned through.

I went to for vaccinations. I booked just one day before by app. Car parking is little small and it was full. I need car parking beside road .but inside building are big. And big medical clinic. There are many room for clinic. And very easy access booking and check in. They had small children table on waiting room. I used Hot Doc App for booking. Many choice of COVID-19 vaccinations. Doctor looks very experienced. And friendly. I waited waiting room 20mins from my booking time.

An all round medical centre . Everything you need is there . A shame they took bulk billing off at doctors as does become expensive but the amenities are what I need . Friendly, professional and obliging. Achala at Paradise smiles is excellent . Always warm welcome, incredibly professional, knowledgeable. Highly highly recommend. Paradise smiles is 5 ⭐️

Dr Kish is a real gentleman and explains everything extremely well. Very professional and punctual. My first time at the centre but I will definitely return, a very good experience. Thanks to all the staff including the very professional ladies at the front desk.

Tried to make an appointment for myself immediately after my sons appointment on a Saturday. We both work every second weekend so our time is limited. When I mentioned I needed a cervical screen I was informed that none of the Drs would perform this procedure. When I asked why I was told it is their personal preference. WHAT , since when do Drs Choose what services they offer as a GP . This is a simple procedure which has been done by Drs for years . Very disappointed at the lack of general care offered by general practitioners at this practice. I will be finding a new one .

I am new to the GC and was very comfortable with the my first meeting with Dr Silva at the One Stop Medical Centre Hope Island. The staff at reception were also extremely pleasant as well. My next appointment with Dr Silva is next Monday when she will have results from X-rays and blood tests which she sent me for.

Lovely Medical Center and friendly staff. I would appreciate not to be put on hold for more than 5 min when either making appointment or get results. More staff at counter would improve customer service. Thanks

I only see the Dr here for scripts, I get better attention at my old medical practice in Ipswich, they are more thorough and clued up on what I require for my health. It is worth the hours travel time to see an Aussie doctor. After suffering a stroke 3 months ago, the Dr at My Health City was nonchalant, making reference that I was aging and strokes can be expected...wow. I am 65.

  • 1/5 Lucinda W. 1 year ago on Google
Unfortunately the Receptionist was very rude. I understand having a change in billing policy but there is no need to speak to people like they are a waste of time when they didnt know. I wasn't informed when making the appointment and I had no issue when I was told at the desk. But the Receptionist was condescending and rude for absolutely no reason and it was literally 8am in the morning. I walked out and went to a different clinic as a walk in, simply because of the Receptionist.
