Dogs only have a few dog beachs to use in SEQ yet fishing spots are in abundance! Why do they allowing fishing in the dog area!! Dogs don't need to be hooked by accident when swimming and fishing people pulling in their lines! Or Dogs chasing the a caught fish. Pick your thousands of available fishing spots in SEQ and leave the very few Dog beach areas we have safe please

I drive all the way from Brisbane to bring my dogs who absolutely love it. We have nothing like this in Brisbane. So many lovely dog owners who seem to have their Mutts under control. The waves are amazing and my dogs go absolutely bizerk running up and down and riding the waves. It’s truly beautiful and makes you realise how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful country. It’s worth spending time with your dogs as when they’re gone you will regret it. In fact it’s better to spend time with them than some people haha. Take the time and bring your pups down they will love it.

Fantastic dog beach which was very clean and spacious, with plenty of other dogs to socialist and play with. Lovely spot to watch the sunset and a few small walks to explore. There was ample parking which was a short 5 walk away, although the area did get very busy quite quickly. Brilliant place to take your dog for some exercise and play.

Great spot for all dog lovers. Somehow everyone knows the rules and follows them. Only had friendly and understanding encounters with other beach visitors. Everyone there to relax and enjoy their dogs having such fun.

Perfect place for the beach loving human dog family, to enjoy a swim or walk along the sand. My only complaint is some beach goers, forget it is an off leash dog beach and complain about dogs approaching them.

A great beach for dogs to run free and have a swim and meet other dogs. Very relaxed atmosphere and great sunsets too. Everyone seems to love this place from dogs to kids to adults. Worth a visit for sure.

Really clean considering it’s a dog beach! It’s a really beautiful spot to see the sun going down. We love this end because of the seaway and the jetty and there are large rocks my son loves looking in.

Great place to bring your puppies, beach is a little rough but and is best suited for those with boards.

Amazing beach for dogs to enjoy the water and play in the sand. Lots of friendly dogs and owners. Champ had the best time, even being on his 5 metre lead. Champ is nervous around dogs, and most owners were so understanding. Highly recommend

Beautiful day spent here with friends. Loads of people with their dog's out but all really well behaved. It was fantastic and you felt safe too.

Great for letting your dogs run off steam! Just wish people would clean up, there are still people of all ages walking as well!

Beautiful off leash beach for anytime of the day. There's a number of trees which provide shade for yourself and the dogs whilst you rest; and the beach is wide enough to get a good walk and play in foor the dogs. Occasionally have seen owners not recall their dogs and heard others have a few bad experiences when visiting on busy weekends. (Just something to be mindful of)

It’s a dog leash free beach and lots of surfers too. Great place to visit if you are a dog lover. Walk to the spit and you will see the entrance for the beach. *A cafe next to the car park*

Great place to take the fur babies. Every breed of dog is down there all loving it! For those with kids...don't let them go into the dunes... That is a notorious male meet up spot.. unfortunately we have seen some very gross acts done up there in broad daylight with kids meters away on the beach

I love going here. Dogs are allowed. You can swim with your dog. Your dog have freedom to play with new friends. Very friendly environment. Near surfers paradise and a good place to unwind the weekend

Usually plenty of parking, great to have the taps and hoses to wash the sand off after a good run on the beach.

πŸ‘ A lovely spot for a day at the beach. The water is calm, there's plenty of space to set up and parking is okay. My only wish is that the toilets were closer, rather than across the road in the park.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Stunning beach, even in the winter, golden sands & great views. Not too much of a tourist trap despite the location. You can easily spend an hour or two just walking along the beach.
