😐 Each time I have gone on the board walk to the end there is always a guy who looks as though he is camped on it, which stops you from going right to the end. Could the people who run it please move them on. It should be available for all to enjoy. People often mention walk, museum,

Beautiful and sacred. What a lovely walk. It was Sunday so the museum wasn't open but we will be back when it is. The path is well maintained and there are hundreds of butterflies. It was quiet and we listened to the bird life and the water lapping the path. Very special. Had a peaceful time.

Would have love to go into the cultural centre. Unfortunately it was closed. Maybe next time.

couldn't find the board walk but did find the stumps that was once a boardwalk

Worth a look. Lovely easy grade short walk through the last patch of bush in Tweed. A variety of plant communities AND one of the few remaining bora rings on the coast, near the Minjungbal Aboriginal Museum. (But dogs prohibited as its a Nature Reserve). Pity about Crown Lands ripping out the "Walk on Water" boardwalk through the mangroves... hopefully they'll rebuild it soon

Drop in here every few years: always hopeful but. In desperate need of government funding. Museum needs curating and updating. (Signs had fallen onto floor, text felt out of date). Mangrove track in disrepair. Signposting, lighting and better info signs needed. An important site needing attention.

Very nice walk, and the museum gives a good amount of info but is a little high on the price for a one room museum. So all by all, i would recomment going here and see for yourself if you would spend the money on the museum

It is a must see if you care to learn a bit about Australia's indigenous history. Make sure you visit the small museum for $7.50 before the free walk. Mossies are in abundance there and are in full attack mode. Make sure that you cover yourself in repellent it is a must. They will carry you away.

👍 A great place to visit with your kids. This is center is open on limited days and it's opening times are in NSW times. If you are traveling from Queensland you need to factor this. Unfortunately I got my timing wrong and missed a chance to see the centre. But the staff was very friendly to direct me...
