👍 Tour duration was good. Views were spectacular. Our tour leader, Daniel was good, knowledgeable and entertaining. The little bus was a bit bumpy at times but Daniel drove professionally. Very little snacks were offered but for the price, there should be more offered. Overall it was good. I recommend... The Springbrook National Park is so natural, magnificent, and educational as well. Many lookouts are arranged so just follow all the lookouts and you can complete a pretty comprehensive tour. Our guide and driver Bill is kind and nice to explain related geographical and ecological aspects of Australia and Springbrook. His knowledge covers volcanoes and lava geometry. He especially explained the formation of a giant tree. Thank you Bill.

This was one of the highlights of our holiday. Despite the rainy weather we had a fantastic day and saw many stunning waterfalls and rainforest. Unfortunately due to the cloud cover the lookout had poor visibility but this was no fault of the tour operator. Amber was warm, funny, knowledgeable and accommodating- especially to our two kids who talked her ear off! A must do activity and we highly recommend.

We had a great time going on the glow worm tour. We got picked up from our spot, then drove to have hot chocolate and cake at a place in the mountain then went on our tour. Got to see lots of animals including a trap door spider, lizards, lots of bugs and of course glow worms. Our guide Duff was great. Told some jokes and played some pranks which made it enjoyable. I went with a 7 and 8 year old who enjoyed it. I did ask and confirmed via email for a booster seat but they weren't on the bus when it came, lucky my boys didn't really need them but if you really need them- I would maybe call to confirm just before the tour.

We had a great time on our rainforest tour! The booking was so easy and someone got in touch with us right away to confirm our pickup point! It was very convenient to have us get picked up and dropped off to where we preferred. The tour was also very easy! It was a nice walk seeing different Waterfalls. The tour guides were also friendly and easygoing! This was a nice tour and I highly recommend this!

We had an amazing day at the Lamington National Park, the view was awesome 🤩. Our Tour Guide Amber was informative, entertaining and friendly. O’Reillys Tree Top walk was very worth while and hand feeding the different parrots 🦜 certainly an experience. Lunch at The O’Reilly Vineyard was a lovely way to finish the tour, relaxing by the creek and patting the alpacas. Certainly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour. Brilliant service. Gave an amazing overview of the Gold Coast. Stunning rainforest walk. Delicious lunch at O’Reilys Winery. The tour guide Bill was exceptional. We loved his knowledge and commentary of each area and he had a wonderful sense of humour. He made us feel so comfortable and was very obliging, informative and generous with his time. We look forward to doing another tour in the future.

We did the evening Rainforest and Glow worm tour with Eddie. Great friendly and knowledgeable guide as well as being witty. The night began by going to . a place called The Manor where we were treated to hot chocolate and cake before heading to the forest. We were handed torches which were vital for our walk in darkness to help us see where we were walking as we descended 101 steps to where the glow worms are. Utmost care and precautions need to be taken during the walk as it is quite unsteady at times and it would be easy to fall if one was careless. Once we reached the glow worms its was an amazing sight which was spectacular due to no moon seeping through the forest which made for absolute darkness and they lit up like an amazing starry light show. We also got to see the huge waterfall at night which lit up when torchlight shone and looked astonishing. Cant recommend this tour enough.

Really brilliant day out, made the more magical by Paul's amazing commentary and insights. The places we visited were breathtaking, and I personally didn't want to leave the last spot. My kids were most impressed by the amount of local indigenous knowledge being shared. We learned a lot on this trip and formed lifetime memories together. TIPS - We went in Winter (July) which was more magical as the sun was going down at the final spot - but do note that the hinterland in winter can be 10 or more degrees colder than the coast, so bring a coat. We had snacks and a drink stop on the way up, but the kids were glad I'd packed a small snack for the drive back down to the coast. Final wrap-up - if you are thinking of southern cross tours & specifically this trip, stop thinking and start booking. You won't regret it.

Went on the Springbrook and Natural Bridge tour.. Was very beautiful. Mark was an awesome guide. Good sense of humour and very passionate about his job and wildlife. The only issue we encountered was we couldn't see two out of four waterfalls due to low cloud cover - which was a shame. Other than that, would recommend.

Booked 3 tours in total from Southern Cross Tours: Night Glow Worm Experience on Mt Tambourine, Springbrook & Natural Bridge and Lamington National Park. Despite the unusual heavy rain on some of the days, our tour guides were extremely knowledgeable in adjusting our itinerary to still offer us a great experience. I especially enjoyed the trivia sharing on the flora and fauna and aboriginal cultures along the way, adding meaning to the whole trip. Special shout-out to Paul, our guide for 2 of the tours. His witty dad jokes and careful driving up and down the Scenic Rim made the trip worth remembering!

After poor weather required a change of plans, our guide Andy took us on an improvised “mystery tour” and ensured we were still able to see some spectacular hinterland sites including some amazing waterfalls and rainforest. The youngest member of our group was particularly looking forward to seeing the alpacas so much thanks to Andy for making it happen. Good customer service and communication from Southern Cross so would recommend booking with them.

On 1st Octorber 2023, I had the pleasure of embarking on a remarkable journey with Amber to explore Natural Bridge and Spring Brook National Park. The experience was nothing short of enchanting. Amber's expertise extended beyond just guiding us to these breathtaking locations; she also ensured our comfort by providing snacks and water throughout the trip. I managed to capture captivating moments at the Glow-worm cave, Purling Brook Fall, and the lush forest. Along the way, Amber's kindness shone as she rescued a snake on the road and paused to introduce us to the charming kangaroos. An unforgettable adventure, thanks to Amber's care and knowledge.

Booked less than 24 hrs before the trip via Klook and it was easy and convenient to confirm the booking. The staff was really helpful as we got a bit lost trying to find the meet up point, can easily call for assistance as their numbers are provided. The tour itself was great, Daniel our guide was full of information keeping the group entertained. Ride was smooth in a cozy group of 12 pax bus. Everything was nice and on schedule back at 4pm. Rainforest walk, bird feedings and alpaca feedings were so fun, the animals are really enthusiastic. The food (not inclusive in package) particularly the Fisherman’s Basket For Two was amazing, really fresh! Scenic views on the way to the park as well

I had Daniel for the evening rainforest and glow worm tour - he was amazing! He was super friendly, very knowledgeable and made sure we all got to see the wildlife around us. We got to see a snake, spiders, glow worms and much more. He even showed us a lookout with some stunning views. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone! Thanks Daniel!

I did the Natural Bridge & Springbrook Waterfalls tour back in April and had a blast! Our guide Andy was very informative and funny, we were kept hydrated and fed with water/snacks, and saw some amazing views at the lookouts! Highly recommend this company :)

We did that Lamington and Springbrook tours on seperate days. Each tour had different tour guides and they were very good at their jobs. The tours were very enjoyable and the guides very knowledgeable. It takes a lot of time and research to relay the information to us on holiday. Great job Andy and Jamie. Thank you for a great tour.

Worth to see! Beautiful Nature and point views that you don’t want to miss. You probably would want to go there again by yourself to take your time exploring more. Tour guide Amber made the whole experience real exciting and was professional. Recommended!

I toured Orelli National Park with my travel guide Bill, and it was great that he gave me the names and explanations of all the birds I saw in the park. It was also nice that I happened to see wallabies and koalas in addition to alpacas and parrots during the tour.

Went for the evening glow worm tour at Mt Tamborine. Mike explained the journey really well, was on time and we had a smooth experience. Nice cake and drink at The Manor. The experience was surreal to experience what its like to walk through at night. Saw a few insects along the way before seeing the glow worms in the dark next to Curtis Waterfall. Cool trip.

If you love waterfalls and spectacular views, this is the tour for you. There are steps involved and a bit of walking. Either have lunch before you go or bring something as snack time wasn't until about 3pm. Our tour guide Eddie was amazing. Very knowledgeable, friendly and super caring. We were lucky enough to have Adam with us too - he was in training - what a lovely guy. So pleased we did this tour. Thank you Eddie, Adam and Southern Cross.

Lovely trip. Duff was very knowledgeable and funny. He turned every simple thing into an interesting fact. Knows the bush really well. The afternoon dessert was also delicious in an astonishing place. Overall we had a lovely experience and I recommend this afternoon tour.

We had an amazing time on our Taste of Tamborine tour today my husband and Mr 5 had a great time. Our tour guide was informative and great with Mr 5. Would 100% recommend the tour to anyone. The only thing id maybe recommend is a change of lunch venue the food was nice, but not great, but this is no refelction on the tour company, they did an amazing job in all that they did from the first contact to the drop off. Thanks again from the Arthurs

Amazing tour in the rainy rainforest at night that we never experienced during entire life. Especially, Harry's detailed explanation was greatly awesome like the oasis in the middle of desert. His guide also was considerate all the time until he drove us to the cafe again. We'd really appreciate everything.

We had a great day out with Southern Cross Tours on our Lamington National Park Tour. Our guide, Harry was animated, energetic and extremely knowledgeable, throughout the duration of the day. This was good value for money with pick up and drop off, travel, lookout, rainforest skywalk and bird feeding experience included. The winery and alpaca farm were a nice way to end the day. Thank you for a fabulous day out.

Very enjoyable day on the Lamington National park, O’Reilly and vineyard tour. Just the right pace with comfortable vehicle, regular stops and interesting local and historical information from our guide. The winery is beautiful, love the alpacas. Spectacular views along the way. If you are nervous driving on windy roads, do this tour and let the professionals take care of it.

We’ve been to the Gold Coast numerous times on holidays but this was our first time doing the glow worm tour and it was the best!!! So great to see the bush at night and all the wonderful things that live it. Our guide Duff was amazing and had us laughing throughout our session. Highly recommend experience!!!

Booked glow worm tour here finally and got our funny and knowledgeable guide Harry 😊 It’s hard to find guided tour end of the year as we booked quite late, here is highly recommended. The trip is well planned, we explore the rainforest to see sugar glider, spiders, gecko, waterfalls and definitely the glow worms 🦎 Beautiful nature! We also stop for 20 mins to have some coffee ☕️ and lovely mystery cakes 🍰 (recommended)!!! The cafe’s atmosphere is amazing. Harry made the whole trip really enjoyable😜 Wanna say a big thank you at last!
