Cover was $30 cash to go to the rooftop, majority of people on the rooftop didn’t pay the cover, it’s very person by person if they decide to charge. They give you a voucher for pizza, which is useless if you’ve already eaten. Robbery. Rooftop is okay, service at the bar is mixed. Toilets both male and female do NOT have seats - so if you’re a woman and need to use the bathroom you should go somewhere else. Definitely not worth spending your time here, go to another bar.

I can now see why you make customers pay in advance. Pub counter food is better cooked, tastier and served in a timely manner. We went for a Mothers day dinner and I e of the main meals came out 20 minutes after everyone else's and we were all done. The popcorn chicken was severely undercooked, the spanner crab pasta was both tasteless and undercooked too. M** had two cocktails that were 80% ice cubes and were so sour. Who makes a cocktail based on a glass full of ice cubes? I had the Watermelon sour and it was sweet - go figure. You got the sweet potato fries right, but I could have got these at any pub. The service is non existent, order and pay at the bar yourself and the reception guy doesn't have a clue. Overall, this place is best kept for the over priced wood fired pizza and cocktails for the mini skirt millenials that want to be seen in Burleigh. Do yourself a favour and go to ABY restaurant along the Burleigh stretch and get better meals and cheaper drinks. Total flop!

They are lucky to get one star. Service at the establishment is appalling. I could not believe how long it took to cook a 3 minutes Aah McCain pizza. The staff were rude and not accompanying what so ever. Would not recommend to my family dog to eat out of this place. And that’s just the food. Shout out to the bar staff, takes 14 minutes to make one drink. Really appreciate you having fun and having a deep and meaningful conversation with every patron, however it would be greatly appreciated if you could just pour my drink, sir. To the owner, I have never written a negative review before but in this case I find it necessary. Great venue, but overall the staff looked confused, and restroom was appealing. We had a huge disappointment dealing with the manager, Billy. To be precise, he showed as childish, argumentative, extremely rude, he also seemed poorly experienced in the industry. Overall, I wouldn't go back or recommend to anyone. Anyway good luck for the future, I just thought you should know, to make things better.

Stopped in last Friday night with a Christmas party group. We arrived around 7pm and there was only one bar attendant. Ordered a cosmo and were seated in a booth - very cute. Cosmo was good, live music was nice. Wouldn’t mind going back to try the food.

I cannot explain the incompetence of the weigh girls at this joint. Ordering 1 hour before other guest and not being served for an hour and a half later? The cook must be under so much pressure, however, when does management step in and take control over simple logistics of a restaurant & bar. As I said, it’s a restaurateur & bar. Not an Amazon logistics warehouse. This place needs to restructure and learn to offer more to their consumers when they are in the wrong as they were many times on this night. Your sincerely. Red.

Pink Monkey has views, vibes and the most delicious cocktails! The team and Manager Boston make you feel like family; they’re always up for a laugh and just generally welcome you into the business. Pink Monkey is a place for EVERYONE ( unlike burleigh pavilion who discriminate on people’s small religious neck tattoos depending on how they’re feeling on the day). Do yourself ( and your party) a favour and go straight to Pink Monkey for a good time and fantastic cocktails!

I went here because they have great Pizza ! But when we bought our drinks we thought they over charged because it didn't add up. When we addressed this, the bartender showed us on the till they have a surcharge every Saturday just because it's Saturday. We paid an extra 5 bucks for two drinks. And they also have a charge to go up stairs. Do yourself a favor and get the pizza to takeaway. Or go somewhere else that doesn't charge you to breathe.

I wish the option to give less than 1 star existed, I booked a specific table for my birthday celebrations weeks in advance confirmed numerous time the table requested was booked, paid a deposit to secure the booking. Turn up on the day and the owner has decided to give the table away to friends of his. What a way to treat paying customers who do the right thing. staff here are really wonderful, sadly set up to fail under appalling management.

Had my birthday party at Pink Monkey, Fev who was managing that night was amazing and I could not have asked for more. Food was delicious, drinks were flowing. Highly recommend the rooftop bar for a party. We all had a great night.

Jimmy is the best and friendliest bartender ever. We had a gold package and he made our night. His service and bartender knowledge with drinks made the night a 10/10. Couldn’t recommend him more.

Highly recommended. 5 star service. Friendly happy and helpful staff. Delicious food. Really well priced, unique and tasty cocktails. And ambiance in abundance!!! We were there in the late afternoon and enjoyed the live acoustic music, some pizzas and cocktails on the rooftop and the spectacular views of the beach, the full moon rising over Burleigh and the sunset! Families enjoying pizzas for an early dinner, groups celebrating birthdays (young and young at heart!) and our group of middle aged chicks drinking too many cocktails!! The vibe turned into a real nightlife hot spot after dark. A DJ, lots of people watching and plenty of locals having fun!

It might be called Pink monkey but it is managed by gorillas! Aggressive doorman looking for a fight. Not everyone is bad mate! How about you don’t tar everyone with your aggressive brush and actually read the room - no need to single people out who are just there for a family dinner , spending good money and supporting local. Anyway it’s not like the place was actually even that busy and your heavy handed approach left a sour taste

Went to the ladies lunch on a Saturday. Was such a great vibe the waitresses were amazing and so friendly. Good views of the ocean and Burleigh. Loved how they continued to serve the food and beverages and made sure everything was okay. Only thing would be the tight space of seating but the more people the better vibes! Recommend the ladies brunch.

Me and my friends came to pink monkey for dinner and drinks. Our reservation was for 6:15 however we got there at 6. We placed our food order at 6:13 at the bar and our food didn’t arrived until 7:40 after we notified staff multiple times of our wait. After a while the bar manager came over and was extremely lovely and apologetic and gave us a round of free drinks. If the food came out on time I’d give this place 5 stars.

Bailee is the best bar tender I have ever had! The ladies lunch bottomless drinks was everything and more 🙌 anything and as much as we wanted. Highly recommend this venue. Great music too.

Saw the rooftop bar from the street and thought that would be a great place to have a late lunch and beer. It was all reserved. Vegan cheese on a vegetarian pizza plus fresh baked bread with houmous and chili oil was absolutely delicious! Avoid the ginger beer.

Pink monkey was great, went here for a farewell dinner and the atmosphere was great with live music with which we got a song suggestion in to say farewell to our friends. Food was great (pizza) however the wait at the bar was the only issue with this place, the drink was worth the wait!

So upsetting, disappointing, and just disgraceful. Booked a dinner for six people at 6:45 for my birthday, was so disappointing to learn that they had double booked, had to wait in a massive line, waited 30 minutes for a table, and the table they provided we could only sit on one half of the table. They kept letting people in when they had a line of 30 people that had booked a table that wasn’t provided. So embarrassing as the host to deal with this. Left after one drink. Very thankful for the young lady that tried her best to accommodate us, as well as dealing with other rude customers.

The bottomless brunch was the best I've ever been to! The drinks were flowing (no wait time) and food came out in perfect timing. The tunes were awesome and the staff provided amazing service.

Booked a table for dinner with my partner on a Saturday evening,was really excited as we had never been before. When we arrived, nobody was aware of our booking, the lady at the door told us to go to the bar and they could “help us” , went to the bar still nobody knew about our booking. Asked for a menu- found a table which I ended up having to ask for a cloth and wipe it down myself. Only half of our food came out which we then had to remind staff twice what the rest of the order was, then had to go back up to the bar to ask for cutlery. The pizza was average not worth $30- the seasoned greens were nice but I mean how can you screw up vegetables really? margaritas were nice however be aware of the extra surcharge,the live music was good but the very poor communication and lack of service was shocking,wont be returning, expected way more.

Been here for drinks & food now and it goes alright. I would come back but it’s not my first choice. Pizza is very thin. 5/5 for customer service though! The 2 staff working upstairs on 17/5 around 7pm were amazing!

Got there about 4pm and it was pretty good while it wasn't busy. Great live music and decent drinks. But as soon as it got busier, the service got a bit slack. Taking our drinks before they were finished, not making eye contact at the bar (choosing a certain type of customer to serve first). Only redeeming quality was Kahu (sorry if I mangled the spelling). They were so amazing in every way. We had some pizza which was pretty great. At around 6:30 my sister-in-law tried to use the bathroom and security told her without a wristband, you would have to go downstairs (and out) to use their facilities. But if you leave, each customer must buy a whole pizza or pay $30 entry. Not sure if this was a way to move customers on after a little while or just a money making tactic but I'm not sure saying 'you cant use our toilet' is legal.

Accidental find on New Years Day night but enjoyed beautifully prepared meals including the yummiest hummus with fresh pizza baked flat bread, pan cooked schnitzel and superb sweet potato fries. They also do fresh pizza-oven pizzas which look great. For a place that looks more like a bar come nightclub looks can be deceiving. Please thank the chefs

went here on friday night and every staff member was amazing! both up and down stairs. everyone was smiling, happy and super helpful. been a very long time since i’ve seen a workplace like that! shout out to Nicholas who went above and beyond when my friend orderly incorrectly & helped him fix the meals up. thanks legend!

Great place with an exceptional vibe. The condition of the toilets however are inhumane. You can not let the amount of people into the club with the amount of toilets available. It’s a health risk that is the same week after week. Sort it out please!!!

Great little place had good music and a good atmosphere. Drinks where a little pricey I thought for a small bar the standard spirit was approx $14. But overall it was a good place to hang out with some friends.

GF Pizza was disappointing- well presented but super bland in flavour, cold and hardly any topping. Had a good experience here once before but I don't think we'll be back.

Cute little rooftop bar, the pizzas looked amazing. This place would be great for a Sunday sesh on a nice sunny day. The cocktails were a bit average though, my espresso martini was weirdly sweet; so I'd stick to beer, wine or spirits.

Well-done bar food is how I'd describe this place. The menu wasn't incredibly special or anything like that but all the basic were done incredibly well. The chips were nice, crispy and we'll salted. Pizza and gnocchi were nice. But the Mushroom Arancini were a stand out to me, little morsels of joy. The ambience was nice. As for the service, in line with the other reviews, the staff really do not look like they know what they are doing. Not that they were rude to us, just a little bit awkward.

The music was really loud. No one greeted us, gave us menus, took orders from us until we asked. Had to order drinks at the bar. When we found only one staff member on the floor (poor girl) we had to wave her down and ask to order the food. Plus side the food was good and received it quickly.
