Went to this club during NYE and let’s just say they miss the expectation by miles, given that people had to purchase tickets from $38 and up to attend. 1. The dj is terrible, the entire night it felt like I was listening to car radio. And he repeated songs constantly. You’d think they try to at least get a decent sj for NYE special event. 2. Drinks were low quality. Took tequila shots and they tasted like half water 3. Young crowd where no one danced 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe because the reason #1 4. The only reason I gave 2 stars was the bathroom, it’s nice and not as gross as most clubs.

15 of us boys hired booth with VIP service for our friends bucks party on 26/08/2023. All of us literally said that this was hands down one of our best clubbing experiences we have had (and we are bunch of 30 year olds). Everything was perfect with the music, security, management, bartender, and the patrons. Will not forget this!

Coming from Brisbane, this club was not good. Entry was expensive, drinks were an okay price but tasted funky (not in a good way). The music was probably the most basic and unexciting that you could get. The design of the place itself is cool and the vibe of the people was nice, thats about all that was good about it though. Dissapointing.

Got a booth the other night and it was awesome service by the staff! Come here quite a bit and was convinced to give the bottle service a nudge, hands down the best experience I've had in a nightclub, and there's nothing I love more than a good sesh on the weekend. Katie and Lachie you guys are *beeping* legends. I'll be back soon

Absolute joke of a club. Effectively stole $1500 from us, have never seen poorer service or ruder staff at any venue in my life. Would rate 0/5 stars if I could. Avoid like the plague

We celebrated a birthday, hired a booth. The shot boats, treasure chest were all amazing. Staff were so friendly, especially Katie at the bar, the music had us dancing all night. Can highly recommend for a special celebration ❤️

front paydesk man was so rude to me. i booked $40+ for 2 people for a VIP club pass ONLINE and he said he didn’t know ANYTHING about it. thankfully, there was the information poster about the VIP club pass in front of me and i called him out about the privileges. he didn’t even want to give me the wristbands until i asked him for it! PIECE OF ADVICE: if you bought the club pass, PLS INSIST on wristbands! • house spirits are $12 (not a complaint, just a comment for people who have not experienced this club)

They have a photographer walking around asking if you’d like a keyring. I purchased a keyring and asked for the original photo however they said that they cannot give it to me even though i saw them transfer the photo from the SD CARD to the computer to print out the photo for the KEYRING. I said SMS, Email and LINKEDIN worked. They tried to say $30 for the OG PHOTO, even though i paid for the keyring. Absolutely ridiculous, bunch of scam artists.

Probably the best nightclub in the Gold Coast, great music most of the nights I have been and a very cool aesthetic. Would recommend to the younger crowd (18-35) but if you're old and like to move your hips then here's the place to be.

We came from Melbourne, and were unsure where to go. After a few failed attempts, we found ourselves here, greeted by Shiny, an amazing bartender who had a smile that lights up the whole place. Thank you Shiny we love you xxx Jack n Lana

Had a class night here. Prices were reasonable and the staff were very nice. Casey was able to sort out a problem I was having with what to order and she was spot on with my choice. This is going to become my regular spot.

A group of about 120 people went to Lost Kingdom last night to celebrate end of season, and the crew there, especially Lachy, really looked after us and made sure we had a great night. They genuinely tried to make the experience enjoyable, and it was very! The music was unreal, and no complaints were ever made. Huge recommendation by me!

Security refuses to accept driving licenses as proof of age, will only let you in with a passport. Keep this in mind if you plan to go here, otherwise it'll be a time waste. Club was nearly empty, probably for the reason mentioned above (not many people could get in) Edit: The security looked at my driving license and seemed unfamiliar with the features that constitute a real ID (such as a reflective coat of arms). Following this, they spoke to the security person at the venue next door and acted on their advice to deny entry, which indicates an inability to make independent decisions. Furthermore, I have used my driving license in a number of venues across the eastern coast of Australia (NSW, VIC and QLD) which included bars, alcohol stores and clubs, and have never had an issue both before my encounter with Lost Kingdom/Retro’s (the neighboring venue mentioned within the reply) and afterwards. Thus, the inconsistency between Lost Kingdom and other venues leads me to think that the application of QLD’s Liquor and Gaming Laws is occurring incorrectly within this club. The alternative is to suggest that other clubs, bars and liquor stores are not operating in accordance with these laws, which is a rather substantial accusation. Therefore, it appears the issue is with the club's security as opposed to my ID. Also, a number of clubs on the same street in Surfers Paradise allowed entry and were completely satisfied with my driving license ( such as Cocktails, Empire etc)
