The woman who ran the place was very harsh with the dogs. I was quite taken aback by the abrupt way she handled her own dogs like disposable commodities when she was showing them to me. But unfortunately when I put my own poodle on the bench as I handed her over, the woman wanted to demonstrate to me that there may be extra charges for extra work so she picked up a metal comb and yanked it through the long hair on her face which obviously hurt my dog who let out a shriek! I grabbed the comb off her and said that I was more gentle and held the roots of her fur so as not to pull her skin. The woman said her fur was matted which it was not. I have curly hair too, it gets a bit tangled and the way she yanked the comb through my dog’s fur would have been very painful for anyone, dog or human! She then picked up my dog and took her out back out of sight. I asked where she kept her and she angrily told me she was in a cage as per Queensland’s laws. This is not true and the better places, where the groomers actually LIKE dogs have them out in the open in playpens or enclosed rooms. She wanted to keep my dog 12-4 whereas the better places take 2 hours and message when to pick up so as not to prolong the dog’s separation. This woman is rough and aggressive with dogs and I decided not to leave my dog unsupervised with her. Better to wait and get into one of the caring groomers than let her terrorise your pooch while you’re not watching.

I was recommended to Petz with Pizazz by a friend & I am so happy I made the change & listened to his advice. Louise & her dedicated Team are amazing!! They now groom my 2 dogs weekly & do an exceptional job, all people in this industry should learn from them. They are animal loving people with affordable prices. I have been a weekly customer of Pets with Pizazz for 11 years. They are the most professional groomers I have dealt with in my many years dog breeding and also as an AWL Volunteer. I see some of the most beautiful and artistic clips and colours too, every week when I am there. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. If you want the best for your pets, you can't go past Pets with Pizazz. Best Groomers I have ever dealt with.

I cannot recommend Petswithpizzazz enough the job that these guys do with both our dogs is first class. They both come back nails groomed coat perfectly cut and smelling fresh and clean. The prices they charge a more than reasonable especially my experience with other groomers who can charge you a fortune. We can have both our dogs done Gizmo and little CiCi for less than $140. To the one bad review here on Google I'm sorry that you experienced a service that was not up to your expectations or your dogs. We have only had positive experience from our visits to Petswithpizzazz and could not recommend them enough to friends and family, or owners with furry friends we meet down the street. If you want a professional experience and not some Fly By Night operator go and see these guys they will take care of your needs and your bestfriends.

Moved to GC nearly 5 years ago and had tried many salons for my fur baby and had some very bad experiences . Finally found Louise at Petz With Pizazz and I have never looked back. She is very professional and I highly recommend her and her staff. My fur baby always comes home looking beautifully groomed and happy. Louise makes us feel like family. Looking for the best groomer for your pooch? Well you have found it. I have been going to Louise at Petz with Pizazz for over 10 years. Before I found Petz all the dog washers were the same. After a couple of days the dogs would well smell like dogs. But not a Petz. They come out smelling so good and the grooming is to another level. Go and see for yourself. You won't regret it.

Our Charlie has been a regular customer of Louise & Geoff for the past 11 years. They are the only dog groomer who we trust and who Charlie feels comfortable with. (We have sure tried a few) They are always gentle and patient with him, and we have ALWAYS been extremely happy with the quality of their work.

This was my first time using 'Petz with Pizazz'. Louise is fantastic. She gave my 12 year old medium sized dog one of the best grooms he's ever had. The cut was a perfect length making him very comfortable with the heat and humidity up on the GC. The care and attention shown by Louise and her team was first class.
