    I walked in today, to purchase a watch, and was completely ignored by the staff members. (3 in total) So I waited, I was the only one in the store!!! along with another couple who were being served, by two of the sales staff, one of them being Donna, who was offering no assistance, just regaling all within earshot of how she had moved from Perth!!! A couple walked in and were immediately served, by (Donna) who turned out to be an extremely rude and flaccid young sales assistant!!!! I walked out in disgust and purchased a Seiko presage at another store, that at least showed a modicum of care. The Rudeness and hubris of the staff in particular (Donna) speaks for itself, a missed sales opportunity, with many others missed, no doubt, and many more to come. Michael Hill Robina, you need to have an attitude adjustment!!! You are not selling Rolexes!!! (Where they can afford to treat people a little more selectively due to supply and demand) Seiko's although a good watch, they can be bought from any street corner!!!! As they are not a premium brand at this price point!!!! Hence my very quick alternate purchase!!!!! cya!!!!!!!!! :)

    Poor customer service, assistant manager was extremely rude and disrespectful to customers. She kept talking to my mum as if she was dumb and hard of hearing. The attitude was appalling. I had to leave my mum to talk to the assistant manager and I could not keep listening her and the way she was speaking. Never had such a bad customer service experience. Utterly disgusting behaviour. The staff do not want to help you. They simply act like you are wasting their time and an inconvenience to their day. Gave 1 star as I could not give 0. Will never be going back to Robina Michael hill, in future I will be going to another branch.

    By far the worst Michael Hill store I have been to. The staff are very rude and it feels like you are interrupting their day by entering this store. Staff at this store need a customer service workshop or maybe even just some happy pills. Do yourself a favour and just go to a different Michael Hill store they will be more helpful.

    I have been stewing over this for a few weeks and am finally leaving a review because it bothered me so much. I visited the Robina store a few weeks ago while it was in the middle of the walk way (renovations?). Could have cut the tension with a knife. There was a very rude and grumpy lady who had a sour look on her face (quite fat with short hair) and judging by the looks she was shooting she seemed to have an issue with the other workers. I was there to buy a present for a 18th and had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for. The other workers were busy with customers and the grumpy one was the only one not doing anything. Do you think I could get her attention? She was to busy having a picnic to acknowledge me. I waited because their was one peice i was especially interested in so I waited. The blond lady asked the grumpy one if she could help me. I didn't hear her reply but could tell by the tone and look on her face that it wasn't nice. The blond lady was super nice and apologised and told me she would be right with me. The blond lady was very warm and helpful and showed me a few items that suited my budget. I settled on some earrings and later came back for a necklace she showed me. This isn't the first time I've been to this shop and received really poor customer service from this woman. the first time I just thought she was having a bad day but now i know she's just rude and obviously unhappy. She shouldn't be in customer service at all because her attitude stinks. To the blond lady - thank you for all your help. You were very lovely and listened to me. I'm sorry you have to work with someone as horrible as the fat grumpy one. I hope your bosses read this and fire her.

    Lovely ring but terribly disappointing experience. Would not recommend this store at all. Customer service very lacking after they get your money and they seem unable to resize a ring properly. Buying our engagement ring on the day the sales person was lovely and very helpful. But that is all I can say that's positive. Ring sent for resize, took 14 days, no phone call to advise it was there (I had to call and chase it). The woman I spoke to when following up was very rude, said my name wasn't in the system at all and "if" something came for me I would be called (it's an engagement ring for goodness sake, not a piece of costume jewellery!). After calling another couple of times the ring was finally in to collect. However the size wasn't right - I don't believe it was resized at all, it was the same as when I first tried it on. So it was sent away with "urgent" for another resize. I have collected today after another 10 day wait. It's still too big and not resized at all! I took the ring with me today it as I'm sick of dealing with a company that can't do a simple resize properly. Taking it to another jeweller to test size, it's still an L as it was initially! They upgraded us into a $500 care plan to cover the resize and a few little upkeeps, that they are botching up thus far. Care plan is a complete waste of money, wouldn't recommend at all. My advice, if you like a ring there get it...and take it to another, more professional jeweller, for accurate resize and better after sale customer service.

    Happy welcome, helped me choose a beautiful ring and earings. Great service. Really just happy to be acknowledged, after walking in and out of the Browns plains store a couple times a month the last 6 months. I've wanted many items (gold necklace and bracelet) from MH but ended up buying from Angus and Coote because BP store won't even say hello even when there's no customer in store. Couldn't help but wonder if it was my tattoos having them think I'm not worthy. Which is a shame. The ladies that used to work there called me by name for years before last year.

    Went in last Friday to buy a necklace, it was my first time buying an expensive piece of jewellery. The man serving me explained he matched the price of the necklace to what Michael Hill sells for online. I spent $4k to only find out online it is $3.6k. I feel like i got played so he could get more comission from a sale. Also, no box no keep it in or cloth or anything with the purchase? I have bought $50 sunglasses that come with a case and a cloth to clean the lens. It was the necklace and out the door.

    My husband Anthony and I always shopped here for all our jewellery and every time we get severed by Jo. She is incredibly patient, knowledgeable and friendly. She is the only reason we shop at the Robina store. Thanks Jo for always helping us find the perfect pieces for our special moments, you are the true meaning of exceptional customer service and it’s hard to find gems like you in retail these days.

    I spent almost half an hour waiting to be served. Was ignored by staff. There was one other person in the store. I literally was there to buy something for my mum she had already picked it out but I left before purchasing. I will never visit again, terrible customer service. I thought surely it was just me but I see there are multiple reviews. Have to wonder what is happening at this store...

    We have been coming to this store for at least 15 years. With the change over of staff it is the worst store I have been to in a very long time. Andy the store Manager is an arrogant, narrsasitic rude person, does not listen to his customers and argues with the customers saying we are incorrect when it was actually a fault on M Hills part with the diamond earrings. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

    Terrible customer service! The lady who was assisting us was very rude and tried to tell us that the engagement ring could not be resized even though it is part of the package. She then proceeded to tell us that we can have it resized but tried to push for a certain size as it would be “easier” even though it was still a size too big for me. She then mentioned the price of the ring in front of me when talking to my partner and was not professional at all. It then took 1.5 hours for them to sort out the paper work so it could be sent off to be resized. Very disappointing experience and thought the service would’ve been more professional.
