I have had an extremely distressing experience with this practice. My first encounter with the receptionist, Catherine, was one of the most distressing and humiliating encounters I have had. It took me a lot of courage to seek medical support to get assistance for my current needs. I took a chance with the Gold Coast Womens Health clinic as this clinic prides itself stating 'all of our staff members are highly experienced in the medical environment'. However, from my experience this stands so far from the truth. The receptionist could not understand why it was so important to keep my records personal. When queried about some of the clinics processes she simple said it was not their problem and to check it with the third party. Her tone and judgmental comments through out the conversation were extremely hurtful. When asked what my 'problem was' I responded by asking how she was so culturally insensitive to which she responded 'whats that'. I do not understand how a women's health medical clinic can afford to operate like this. I am deeply concerned for others who are in my situation trying to seek help from this clinic.

The receptionist is one of the rudest people that I have ever encountered. Absolutely no compassion or people skills! Travelled an hour to go to this place. I went there thinking being a womens clinic I would have been treated with respect and be given the time for someone to talk to me about my issue. the second visit I had to have a procedure and the doctor was going to proceed without reading my notes she had know idea until I reminded her before she started. I was rushed in and out so quickly it was like a production line and when I tried to get information about my condition I had the doctor impatiently tell me that “stressing” about it is what is causing the pain.. I was also almost denied a basic procedure that Medicare pays for that I requested for my piece of mind,. I was made to feel stupid for asking and had to offer to pay for to get it. The receptionist, I want to say again, who works in a place where compassion is needed was beyond rude. I Watched her be rude to elderly patients and then to me . By that time i could not wait to get out of there I returned the doctors call a few days later and the same receptionist answered. Her dislike of her job was so evident that I simply told her she needed to get one and hung up. When I finally spoke to the doctor I was offered the procedure I HAD JUST HAD and I had to tell her she had already done that! Tried to get a referral to go somewhere else and when I was looking for the name of the specialist I was told I was holding her up and to send an email. The email was returned saying they could not do that via email and to ring and make a phone appointment. Another way to make me pay! I’m starting again with another doctor. Disgraceful! I will NOT EVER go there again.

Review by Christian Jordan for Gayle Jordan A very poor experience with Dr Montana at 0900 this morning. After telling her why I wanted to see her she said I can only have one thing done in the 10 minutes allocated to me. I had a folder with information on my condition which I was happy to leave with her and needed my blood pressure taken and discussed with her. I didn’t get a chance to talk about anything she told me I could have one of the other, not both. I said I’m paying for this service so I don’t understand the 10 min time limit. She brushed me off saying, so is everyone else and she suggested I see another dr. When the conversation got out of hand she led me toward the door and put her hand on my shoulder and pushed me out into the corridor. At this stage the practice manager came out and took me into her office. We discussed what happened and I was so upset I called my husband to come to the office. As we were leaving she yelled through her open door, I have my lawyer involved! And I replied, So have I! Never in all my experience of going to the doctors would you expect this behaviour from a woman dr in a women’s health practice. Now awaiting a reply from the practice manager.

Called today to book an appointment for my partner and was confronted by an extremely rude receptionist who showed no compassion or care. It was clearly explained to the receptionist 3 times that my partner was not experiencing any Covid related symptoms however the receptionist still continued to interrogate us and treat us like Covid patients. The receptionist was reluctant to provide us with an appointment as she was extremely paranoid about Covid symptoms and kept being extremely arrogant and rude. No doctors clinic should ever treat patients in this way. This clinic needs to be audited by the Queensland Government and rethink their business practices as they are going against all the ethics of doctor and patient care. It’s no wonder why they have so many terrible google reviews. Shame on you Gold coast woman’s health.

Saw Dr Kilmartin on Friday, and paid full price for her to ignore my medical history, pretend to take note of my results and then to proceed to tell me the history report I compiled to make it easier, needs to be in dot points, surprise surprise, it is, but she didn't read it. She then proceeded to tell me she didn't want to give me advice in various ways and that I should ask other doctors for referrals. She said she didn't want to be our doctor because she doesn't work often and then recommended a random other doctor in the clinic. So I made an appointment with this other doctor as soon as i'd finished with Dr Kilmartin, and later in the day after speaking with my family, this clinic was too expensive and I was not going to get the care I needed and soresolved to cancel. Friday afternoon, no one picked up my call and then they closed. Monday morning at 8am I called to cancel and was on the hold line for literally 40 minutes before they answered. They then told me I didn't even have an appointment and laughed about it. I would not recommend this clinic to any women or anyone with chronic health conditions that needs medical care. They seem to be using the "women's" title as a ploy to overcharge as a specialty and have little to no organisation or compassion. (I don't want to be contacted)

I’ve tried 6 different doctors at this clinic trying to give them a chance. I’ve had disappointing experiences every time. Like being laughed at, criticised for my own personal informed decisons, not listened to, gas lighted. I’m really losing my faith in GPS ability to properly assist me with my health concerns.

Really rude receptionists and Doctor. Showed no care, or compassion, shut down very quickly and didn’t allow me the chance to explain my situation. After receiving my results soon, I will not be coming back to this unprofessional practise, and will be sticking with my regular GP. Shameful, GC Women’s Health.

I had a fractured back last year. Wasn’t even offered a back brace or to see a Physiotherapist or anything. Still suffering with pain Daly over 12 months on. I also took my daughter too see doctor Donna another time. We where told to Isolate at home. She would call us. She never called. The doctors here use to be good. But the place has really gone down hill.

I’m glad the doc I had dug deeper and did more tests to give me piece of mind. Expect to be sitting in the waiting room for an average of 20 minutes. My doctor was in a meeting and had no idea when was getting out. No one should be expected to sit for an unknown amount of time on top of already waiting 20 minutes. I heard one lady say she was supposed to go in 20 minutes before me! Feeling as though they are careless towards time and clients responsibilities

I have been a patient of GCWH for over 25 years, starting in their Southport Practice before relocating to Broadbeach. During Covid I started under the guidance of Dr Corinne Lingard and am very pleased with their service, and her treatment.

I’m extremely grateful to Dr Sweety Syed for her kindness, respect and understanding to my situation as a 61 year old woman who was in a state of despair and confusion after being shut down by my regular GP who refused to treat my post menopausal osteoporosis with hrt, which is known to be one of the recommended treatments for osteoporosis. My regular GP was quick to give me a shot of Prolia after being surprised with my diagnosis of osteoporosis in my lumbar spine. I was in a state of shock because he told me that I was at a high risk for fractures if I don’t get it treated immediately. He never explained the side effects or even gave me any other alternatives to treat my osteoporosis. He was quite aware of my medical conditions which was exacerbated after getting the shot. This shot made me more debilitated, which increased my anxiety and depression. When I first phoned the Woman’s Health and explained my situation, I was immediately reassured that I was going to be in good hands and was given the first available appointment, which was amazing because I was not sleeping from the anxiety and the fear of not finding a solution to treat my osteoporosis. I was not disappointed at all and was greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionists which brightened up my day. It didn’t take long and I was greeted by Dr Sweety Syed who made me feel like a human being again with her friendly and warm personality. She took the time to explain the type of hormones that is most suitable for me and reassured me that I will be monitored to make sure that I’m doing well. I’m happy to say that since I’ve started hrt, I sleep well and feel more at ease and less anxious knowing that I’m being treated by a professional doctor who has knowledge about women’s hormones and a clinic who really cares about their patients so I do highly recommend Gold Coast Women’s Health in Broadbeach any time. Much appreciated!
