Great sport facilities. Two giant halls which can be converted to multiple indoor courts to serve different purposes. There are multiple cafes inside which provide an option for a light meal. Plenty of park spaces available but terrible public transport support. For a sports centre which can host up to thousands of people there are only buses nearby and the closest stops, depending on the direction of travel are 750m and 500m away. I get it that this facility is underused most of the time but I would argue it's an indirect result of having to drive.

Attended the wheelchair rugby championships, Unfortunately there were multiple ignorant, rude and unhelpful staff members at the venue. With disabled clients they refused to heat food they needed to bring with them due to dietary requirements and the venue also has no cash option to purchase tickets. This may just be for this event but again handled with rude staff. Very disappointing. Do better.

Great for major events such as international futsal competition. Cafe open during busy periods. Lots of court space but not much seating. Air Flow on a hot day can be limited.

Clean facilities, looked after by protective services due to being a government building. Air-conditioned, plenty of toilets, great coffee at the Cafe, the staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The basketball courts are clean, nets are in good condition, well lit, I believe there is 15 courts. Can not fault this centre at all!

I loved playing basketball and volleyball here with friends. The booking system is easy to understand and the service at the centre is very kind and helpful. The court condition is always pristine.

Good facility and parking for sporting events. Nice choice of food places. Would love some more comfortable seating when waiting for long periods of time for kids sporting events to start.

One of the most phenomenal multi dimensionsal sports facilities in Queensland that I have been to. 2 massive halls covering Basketball, Volleyball, Futsal and numerous other sports. Excellent cafeteria, ablutions. Light, open, airy with underground parking. An outstanding facility.

Had an event here and it was nice. Besides the bottle refill station being only at the front. Would help if the installed one inside the basketball court area for easier access.

There were a few events on at the same time and they don't have the capacity for them to run smoothly. The car park was full and the exit was blocked with traffic cones so lots of cars were driving around looking for a park or a way out and it was chaos. After the event we were stuck in carpark traffic for 21 minutes before we reached the exit. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean for how long the wait was to get in. Waited 35 minutes for a coffee. Audio worked well.

Here with highschool mate and their friends. Parking is tight. Only one sprained shoulder for the day. Had some volleyball and basketball going. Noticed at least four other groups here.

High quality basketball facilities. Shoot around is cheap. Olympic quality courts. Cafe open during events. Really lucky to have such a great facility available to my son.

Wow. What a venue, multi purpose home of indoor sports and function centre, and home to the Qld Sun's AFL team. They have purpose built venue at rear of complex, with built in pool and clubhouse/training centre. However the main complex, the Gold Coast &/or Carrara Sports & Leisure Centre has two major halls, one is divided into eight basketball courts for this week's events with a large viewing galley above accessible from stairs in foyer. Other hall has 5 courts with 6th area for training, and can be set up as a 6000+ seated Stadium. Upstairs are a number of smaller office function spaces overlooking courts, with catering areas attached. Foyer had three catering kitchens for use and a main Cafe set up at North end overlooking ovals and into hall two. Numerous toilet/ changeroom facilities flanked either side of foyer for all courts. And it all sits atop an undercover carpark. Very nice venue indeed.

Both managers were extremely rude and unprofessional when demanding to see my medical exemption for not wearing a mask while attending a 5 day tournament. One of the 3 reasons being anxiety so to be treated like this after coping it for 2 yrs is wearing very thin, thank God there's Lexapro! They called in security on the last day to target me and refuse me entry if I didn't show proof, about to come to blows before the meat head agreed he was in breach of section 94H of the privacy act and allowed me entry but this was after turning away 2 people prior. He said management had told him because they were a private organisation they could ask for people's private medical information, he admitted he knew it was BS and they were open for being sued

There was quite alot of free parking and the halls were spacious with lots of seats. Unfortunately the lighting was much better suited to sporting events and to bright for a cheer and dance stage situation. We were so far away and it was so bright everyone felt detached from the events. With only one small kiosk and thousands of people the wait was 45 minutes and when food arrived the hot dog was cold as we're my daughter's hot chips!

Plenty of free parking which is fantastic and not expensive to catch uber if no car.
