Visited this place over Easter! The staff was happy to answer questions. Reasonable ticket price. A good option to keep your little ones occupied for 15-20 mins. Also located alongside 100+ shops in Carrara Markets. More varieties of Butterfly would make the place more interesting. Thank you

Firstly ,it’s quite small and not many butterflies. Secondly , teenage kids and adults are touching the butterflies yet my 4 year old got yelled at and was too scared to do anything after that. Thirdly, no activities or educational stuff , we can just watch in our own garden.

Super rude front desk lady, her tone of voice was super condescending, it is also a ridiculous amount of money. Would not recommend

A fairly large butterfly house with limited temperature control as far as I am aware, resulting in limited activity from the butterflies on cooler days. However the staff were passionate and answered all our questions thoroughly....would recommend and looking forward to coming back again.

The Gold Coast Butterfly House is an incredibly unique place to visit with a passionate and friendly owner and beautiful butterfly’s and garden. We visit often with my 4 year old daughter and depending upon how busy it is, time of day and time of year she is able to feed a butterfly or two. There are always beautiful butterfly’s and an extensive education section. Often you can see butterfly’s laying eggs and even hatching. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting Carrara Markets on a weekend.

Amazing range of tropical plants. Palms, heliconias, cordylines and so much more. Plants I've never seen on the Gold Coast and some I never knew about

Very pretty place! 9$ for an adult ticket and I stayed for about 20-30min. I would've stayed longer but it was busy with families with kids, but I still got to see a lot.

Disappointed as it was Shut at 11am when it says it was open on Google Saturday 26/2/22 To the owners response: Actually fellow store holders said you were meant to be open as they were and that it was unfair to them. I do not know your situation but assumed the other stall holders knew what they were talking about. Also your response was extremely rude and unprofessional.

A wonderful environment to observe butterflies and learn how to create butterfly gardens at home! What a great way to get kids to connect with critters and the environment

Lovely place to visit. Beautiful butterflies.

Great little place. Lots of beautiful flowers and plants. Butterflies were lovely. Place isn't very big. We had a private booking so we got the place to ourselves for about an hour. It was very very slippery!!!! Wouldn't pay for a private session again - too expensive and not worth the amount we paid but it was very educational and the lady at the desk was lovely.

An amazing experience so quiet and peaceful and definitely recommend checking the market out too
