Very friendly and helpful staff, we had Santa photos done this year with our Bearded Dragon Daryl, it was busy with lots of people and their pets yet still the staff were happy to help.

In store on Sunday afternoon with my son, and have to say Grace was amazing and so helpful - she treated my son so respectfully, answered all his questions, didn't rush us - she was just delightful to deal with. I'm a regular at this place! I'm in a wheelchair and have 2 small dogs that are my life. The service in here is second to none. The variety of goods is mind blowing. It is however, quite a step up from Kmart. It's a specialty store, so can be a bit dearer than some are used to. But you get what you pay for, and they sell a variety of the best. The staff's knowledge base amazes me everytime I go in there. So friendly as well, you feel like a part of their family! If your pets are everything to you, and you want the best for them. Give the folks at Pet Destination a visit and they'll take care of you.

Staff here are super amazing! They have so many kinds of fish to choose from and staff have a pretty decent amount of knowledge. They also stock loads of products for other animals and have a grooming section. Will be back in the near future.

Went into this store today and had nothing less of a delightful experience, was shopping for some new dog food and was offered amazing service and advice on a range of different dog food options (even got help carrying the big bag out to the car 😂). Would recommend giving this place a visit, was very clean and tidy as well!

Extremely helpful and professional service. My daughter wanted a goldfish or two including a new tank. With a little guidance everything was organised and one very happy young lady. Gave my daughter a good basic understanding of fish and tanks and maintance required. We will be returning for a few additional items soon...

One of the better pet shops on the Gold Coast, has lots of fish, Snakes, birds, spider, mice, rats, guinea pigs and axolotl. Also turtles. I would recommend this shop if you're looking for a reptile as a pat also has lizards.

Literally the one stop pet shop. Victoria and her team are super kind, patient and knowledgable. They take the time to explain products and I love it’s a family run business. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for our pets needs.

The only pet store on the Gold Coast that had what we were looking for. The young girl who helped us was so wonderful and insightful and even helped us carry everything to our car. I was thrilled to hear it was a family run business and will be getting my constant support going forward. Prices were great and the range was fantastic. Left feeling super impressed.

Victoria and the team are extremely helpful and professional. We frequently bring our cockatiel in to trim his nails and wings and always have an exceptional experience and always feel valued. Victoria is always extremely helpful in answering any questions we might have.

Just had my cocketiels wings clipped,Vicki the manager wanted to cut his wings next to an open door. I said could you do it in the room , well the attitude from all the girls was disgusting. Oh she has done it thousands of times they all said and hasn't lost one yet.I will never go to this place again just shows how much they really care about animals especially when there not their animals.

Just went to this shop for the first time and from the moment we walked in to the time we walked out the girls were absolutely amazing and friendly and knew their stuff. Definitely coming back.

The owner of this shop is so greedy and completely lacking any customer service skills. I have purchased many expensive things over a couple of years only because of staff like Vicki that work for him..his only saving grace. On several occasions a little bit of common sense courtesy and or resemblance of compassion would have rendered true loyalty and sharing good reviews about this store instead of disgust and negative reviews. The last straw was today.. I had to surrender several expensive fish as I'm urgently relocating due to a family situation and also needing small travel cage for my parrots. The greedy owner charged me for a second hand bird cage that I assume some other poor consumer surrendered their bird in. He will make well over a hundred plus dollars from my fish when he sells them on.. and the audacity, wanted to charge me $15 for the cage, big man offered a $5 discount like he was doing me a favour. Somebody please teach this man some customer service.. grrr .,🤬🤬🤬🤬

The girls here are great! Always friendly & really helpful...(+ the new fish guy seems to know his stuff). Great for bulk turtle & fish food, big selection of water plants, fish, & reptiles! Big warehouse style shop...well laid out. It's great to be able to support a locally owned small business!

Absolutely love going here. The tanks are always clean, staff friendly and my little 18 year old dog loves going there. As a nurse at GCUH I often send friends and relatives there as somewhere to go for a walk as it is like a mini wildlife sanctuary. Me & Milo (the dog) recommend this place unconditionally.

My bird always has so much fun picking his new toy out from here, Staff are always so friendly they don't mind if you bring your pet in they have awesome home made doggy biscuits too which personally look better than the biscuits I eat. Could not fault them in any way

This is a brilliant place We met our little cinnamon green cheek conure here and couldn't be happier with him. He is so well rounded and was able to be handled straight away. He's fit into our family like he's known us forever and I have no doubt it's because of the breeders that these guys have chosen to use and their continued care at the shop. Everything we bought was great quality and Vicky was amazing, giving us valuable advice, making sure she protected the bird while still being respectful to us. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic after sales service. Something that seams to be long forgotten. I purchased a filter a year ago that had a fault. This was covered under warranty and was fully replaced without issue or delay. The staff was fantastic and caring to ensure to let me know how to care for my fish with out a filter for a week. Thank you to the pet destination team.

Staff are very, friendly and well educated. The prices are a bit high but all in all, its a great pet shop to purchase high quality pet needs.

Came into this store today with my mother, who wanted to buy some of their $80 a bag chicken jerky as it’s a great product. Unfortunately the three staff they had on were to busy talking about how good the hair dye was of someone who wanted change for the dog wash outside. So I left the bag on the counter and went to a location that actual serves paying customers. This interaction occurred at 1430hrs on the 20/08/2022. I hope the manager takes some action against these jokers taking Saturday rates for a ride! Won’t be returning as obviously a 3:1 staff ration can’t seem to get a simple interaction done.

The staff are super helpful and you can buy feeder fish for your Oscar's. I had a dispute once and it was handled professionally. Plenty of stock for all types of pets/reptiles/birds, fish etc.

I've only ever been the fish section however I can say with certainty it's the best shop in my area and my go-to. I was entirely uneducated on fish keeping a month ago; however after a number of visits im now confident with a sound knowledge on how to keep my tanks healthy, I absolutely need to thank the staff of pet destination for the time taken to help me through my newbie phase of the hobby, ESPECIALLY Louis, who has been very patient and especially informative and helpful, have been to a number of stores on the coast, Louis has been the most helpful by a mile! Cheers guys!

Lovely staff. I went to just look after a hospital visit, but I think I'm going to buy a pair of breeding Texas FISH..... plus they sell scorpions and other tropical critters. Pretty cool!

In all honesty - this place is 25 minutes out of the way for me, however I still choose to only use this pet store because of its incredibly friendly staff and their prodigious customer service I can tend to feel quite lost when looking for supplies for my pets but the team at pet destination always make sure I’m well looked after and walking away with exactly what I need. I’ve formed a great relationship with them that has allowed me to create an even better relationship with my fur family - 10/10 would recommend

Our amstaff needed a new harness, being animal aggressive, it's sometimes difficult to get one fitted. The team at Pet destination were amazing! Super helpful, excellent product knowledge. We were in & out in no time! Thank you
