Went there to get some guppies. Asked a lady who was there for some help but was told that she’s busy doing something else . A young man came to the rescue even though he was serving someone. Very competent and friendly and if not because of this pleasant young man . I would have given only 1 star.

I only wanted to go to play with the puppies but it’s not allowed, which fair enough whatever, but while I was there I noticed they had heaps of fighting fish in tiny little iced coffee sized cups which is really depressing for the fish. I’m sure the plastic would break down as well. Rubbed me the wrong way & it’s not good to promote small aesthetic “tanks” to buyers. It’s not good for the fish :/

This place is amazing I have to disagree with one post on here.The store was clean not to many birds in the cages some people like to complain honestly my daughter got this beautiful baby budgie named her Cleo and so friendly staff there I will be in there definitely getting another budgie.

The young lady who manages the reptiles has excellent knowledge, she is also friendly.

Took a $20 fish back after 3 weeks as it was attacking my other fish. I was told by a young girl she would only refund $10.....absolute joke. A worker called Tye overheard it said he'll work with me so thank you Tye. You might want to train your staff better and maybe give them some personalities at the same time. Your unfriendly young girl was going to cost you more than $10 because I was never coming back. You can thank Tye for saving her arse and he's only been there for a short amount of time

Fantastic service. Went in there on looking for everything for our new puppy. Not only did I get everything I needed, but the shop assistant was very knowledgeable and spent quite a bit of time assisting me on everything from food, enclosures, flea treatments, toys, collars and leads even to shampoo. As I hadn't had a puppy for 13 and a half years, she explained everything and gave me some great advice, things I hadn't considered with my last dog. I will drive past the other big chain store (even though they are closer) to get to this store in the future.

Been dealing with the owner for years, great bloke, and now we have Dale, he looks after us every-time we do business in the store. One of the best on the Gold Coast, and I’ve been to a few, come check them out, even if it’s a bit of a drive for you! Same size as Petbarn, but an independent!

What an awesome place. The range of dog, cat, bird and small rodent supplies and accessories is very diverse and all very affordable. The staff are VERY knowledgeable and more than happy to share advice and knowledge. What also spun me out was the reptile and arachnic accessories, supplies and creatures also available. Watching a staff member feed a baby python was a highlight for sure. What I primarily visited for was for fish and aquarium supplies and I was in for a wonderful surprise. The range of fish available is awesome. There are of course goldfish but also tropical, and cichlid varieties. There was also some exotic species available which was cool. The aquarium plant variety was excellent and were all healthy and vibrant. A great place to go if you have pets as they have so much to offer and at prices that will suit every budget.

Kelly is great to deal with. Has a common sense approach and very helpful. A great asset to to this store.

He is so passionate and knowledgeable on all fishes has supported me so much. His kind and caring nature makes him the perfect man to take care of fishes and hobbiers Having received this kind of service from Ty and some other staff makes me want to return to the same place to shop

This is the shop for pet lovers! Accessories and equipment galore. Bought a few fish from the aquarium section from little ones to exotic. Had a few hiccups but thanks to Dale and Ty the new guy who helped me all the way to help my fish to be in perfect condition. Specially Ty who is so passionate to help with my fish handling dealing with fish diseases. I would recommend this shop to everyone into fish.... Cheers pet centre👍

Great service, friendly. Aquarium wise, great variety, good value, however 2 fish I've bought both caused a fungal infection which I've hade to buy treatment, and a crayfish brought hydra into a tank.

Looks like a good pet store, all their reptiles looked very healthy and the enclosures were all correctly setup. Got some treats for the doggies and our snake 🐍

Amazing customer service, especially from Kate. She was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with me. Friendly and helpful!
