I wish it was possible to rate this place as a zero star because that is what it deserves. Everything has been a disaster from the second we moved in until the second we moved out. We arrived and the place was absolutely filthy. There was a layer of grime and dust on all of the counters, the floors and the place took at least 2 hours to clean. The sink in the kitchen leaked causing the wood under the sink to rot and mold. You would walk into the apartment after a day of not having air circulate and the apartment was humid and would stink of mold. They need to do more than just renovate as there is mold in the walls and it needs a complete knockdown. I had inquired about a 1 bedroom unit and was told that we would have a one bedroom unit but when we arrived, we had a two bedroom unit and thus the increased rent. We were then locked into the rental term and could not get out of the lease. Upon leaving, the body corporate wanted to charge 750 for the bond clean, which upon further investigation into other cleaners, was at least 250 dollars higher then other cleaners in the area. We had the option of going with another cleaner but they have the right to fail the clean at which point we would be charged the 750 even if we went with our own cleaners. We kept our place very clean and there is no way that we incurred 750 dollars worth of cleaning. Complete joke. This place is disgustingly dirty, the management are completely unreasonable and hopefully I will deter future Bond students from renting here. There are other much more affordable, nicer options in the area.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Property manager is incompetent. Apartments are left in poor condition on entering (layer of grime on everything), and every fraudulent tactic is used to claim back money from the bond. See reviews below supporting this. After hiring a professional bond cleaner who has done a complete clean, property manager will charge an additional cost at a very unreasonable price for things such as dusting behind the television even when these areas were checked to be clean, or attempt to charge cleaning for damage already exisiting in the apartment. For a more pleasant, hassle free experience there are far better housing options in the Varsity Lakes area.

Since taking over the management rights at Central Park Apartments, Peter and Maisie have been fantastic to deal with. Very responsive to any maintenance work needed in the apartment we leased. Our kids are now finished their degrees and we have finished our time at Central Park Apartments, however we would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to rent in the area. Great location, lovely and quite and across from loads of green space.

Just moved out after staying for over a year. The new property managers are great and helped smooth out my moving process. They’re absolutely professional with their work and are a pleasure to deal with. They’re very understanding of the conditions of the unit after taking over from previous management. The property’s common grounds are maintained well, cleaned very often, greenery and swimming pool well maintained and just really well looked after overall. The property itself looks new after the renovations, paint job and cleanup all over. Overall a pleasant stay.

Since the time that Peter and Maisie took over Central Park Apartments management, they have been nothing but great to me! Maintenance requests were attended to in a timely fashion and they have overall made living at Central Parks a great place! I would highly recommend renting in area for anyone looking to rent!

Central Park Apartments was great for my first time being out of home. I had a 1 bedroom apartment which was spacious, clean and furnished. All of the inventory was in good working condition. The area is lovely as it is so close to everything, a major shopping centre a short ride away, public transport and shops within walking distance. Bond Uni was only a 2 minute walk from home so it made everything so convenient. The mangers made moving in and out so easy, especially as it was my first time being out of home. The complex was always clean and the gardens well maintained. I would recommend living here to everyone.

We just moved out after living in the complex almost 2 years. The new managers are very friendly and easy to work with. Any problems with the unit was fixed promptly. Great location, walking distance to Uni and shops. All of neighbours have been very respectful and friendly. We loved living there, and will miss our little unit.

Just moved out of Central Park apartments after a couple of years. I have nothing bad to say about the property or management as everything was absolutely amazing. The new managers were a pleasure to deal with and maintained the property amazingly. Peter and maisee are incredible managers and people. you will be missed.

Great, friendly management and nice apartments. There is a positive atmosphere in the complex and people get to know each other quickly. The property and gardens are well maintained. Parking spot is provided when renting which makes living here so much easier. As I have a disability, it is important to me that there is a lift in the building. Also, I have an Assistance Dog so I was positively suprised how welcoming everyone was to her as I experienced a lot of disability discrimination in previous accommodations. Great place to live, definitely recommend.
