The venue is absolutely gorgeous, really gives Mediterranean vibes. If you want a cute photo for Instagram this is the place to be. However, the food and service on the other hand is a different story. We ordered some appetisers and mains and the both took awhile (45+ mins) to come out, the staff were very friendly though. The portions were appropriately sized but the flavours were very average. Needed a bit extra salt in most of the mains. If you are still intent on visiting, I would recommend the 'Bug Fettuccine' and 'Chilli and Garlic Prawns', they were the stand outs from our experience.

What a beautiful Mediterranean restaurant in Burleigh Heads. The food was great. Mostly share sized plates, but there are some larger dishes to share too if you're hungry. The drinks selection was also quite good as well. Very happy with the service as well. Parking is difficult as it is anywhere in Burleigh so aim to be a little early to have time to park.

I was really looking forward to dining here but honestly what a disappointment… I don’t like writing bad reviews but the food was honestly not good at all…. It lacked flavour and finesse and just not what you’d expect when paying a decent amount of money and considering their social media presence. Loved the interior design and service was okay. Wouldn’t recommend in my opinion but if you’re around, don’t let me stop you from visiting!

A+ staff, all super friendly, B+ food, good but pricey and small portion sizes. B- location, interior well decorated/styled but small, located on very busy road, with entry via the dingy rear laneway and limited nearby parking which may not be well suited for those with mobility issues.

Despite seeing so many average reviews I thought we would try Maman out because it looks so nice. So we had dinner here and the decor is just stunning. The staff were so friendly and down to earth. But unfortunately the food was just average. Now I understand what people were writing about, and it’s so unfortunate! I would definitely return for a pre-dinner drink, and have dinner elsewhere. The drinks were great. There was just a lack of flavour in the food (no I d didn’t have covid 🤣). It seemed as if the chef themself didn’t design the menu, so didn’t fully understand how each dish should taste. It seemed as if they were following a guide, but couldn’t follow through with delivering a delicious meal. Let down for such a nice place with great service.

We visited for lunch on Sunday 11 July. Greeted by friendly, helpful staff. Delicious food which was well presented and reasonably priced. Friendly and prompt service. Compliments to the chef for catering to my allergies. Great atmosphere, beautiful decor. Keep up the great work!

8/10 for this place. Was so so good. The food was incredibly delicious and fresh. We had a slow start to the night with wait staff taking a while to get to us. But once they served us they were on top of it the whole night. Recommend the ocean trout and the bug rolls.oh they were amazing.

There was a good option for kids and the dishes came very fast! Food was amazing and the waitresses were very kind and pleasant!

Went for lunch recently. Had a really enjoyable tuna carpaccio. The Morton bay bug roll was tiny and nothing special. Would not order that again. The burrata was nice sand the tarama was good. The Greek salad was just ok. I liked the restaurant and would go back.

We had read the reviews about this restaurant but have to say we were disappointed. There were lots of choices on the menu which I would say is getting up there price wise. Started with salmon and mango appetizer. $26 for four portions the size of a rice cracker. To me tasted like tinned salmon. Very disappointing and very expensive for what it was. We then shared the Mediterranean vegie stack. Nice but not remarkable. We also shared the large plate chicken and saffron rice. Again nice. Overall our experience was expensive for what we ate and underwhelming. The most disappointing aspect of our dinner was we were asked on arrival if we wanted still or sparkling water. I opted for sparkling and was given one small glass. Only to find I was charged $10 for the bottle on my bill. Given all the lovely places to eat in Burleigh I wouldn’t return to Maman.

This place is INCREDIBLE. How the world on Google has given them less than 4 stars both amazes me and makes me feel ashamed to be giving my reviews to people like that. We were served by Fernandi and she was an excellent hostess. The kitchen catered for our dairy-free friends and even took one dish back without fuss because another waitress wasn’t 100% sure it was dairy free. Less than 5 minutes later the replacement dish was on our table, further proving validity of my 5 🌟 review. Give this place a chance, that’s all I’ll say. You will find them featured on A LOT of eat-out forums and local guides.

My family and I recently visited Maman for dinner and we had such a great time. The restaurant is beautiful, all of the staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. The food and cocktails were excellent, good serving sizes and so fresh. We can’t wait to return to try other items on the menu!

We dined for lunch and this was our first visit to Maman. The service and food were excellent. We couldn’t chose a favourite dish as they were all amazing. Fresh, beautiful food. We will definitely be back highly recommended 👍🏻

Recently made a booking here over the phone 3 weeks before my birthday. I called the day before to confirm and was told the booking was made for the following day.. an error on the restaurants end as my birthday hasn’t changed. They were unable to change it because of a private function and showed no remorse. I was deciding whether to go ahead or change venues. After calling a number of places, I was able to book somewhere else. Maman called to check whether we would still be attending which I advised we would not and tried to charge me for their booking error! Which would amount to $420! Have been here a few times and loved it however after this instance will not be coming back. Was looking forward to taking friends and family but will not recommend to anyone again

Had the best experience at Maman last night. The ambience, food and service was 5 stars. Disappointed with myself that I haven't tried this restaurant earlier, as the review's were mixed. The food portions and quality is very reasonable. Bug rolls are amazing as was the mushroom risotto. We will be back for sure.

I love the decor and the menu is also great. I have been there a over three times now and I was never disappointed, I do recommend you checking this place out.

Was very impressed with this place from the moment we walked in. Very hospitable and informative without being over bearing. Food was outstanding and love our choice of the 3 course “ trust the chef” dinner. Not to mention the Bug role that matched a very well know Burleigh heads beach venue. Would highly recommend and we certainly will return very soon.

We are traveling here from New York and got lunch today with family and this meal was so amazing. Our server was Elyssa and she made the experience so special, we appreciated all her help and kind words. They mentioned that they recently changed their menu and there was 7 of us so we tried a lot of the new items. Everything was well balanced and tasted incredible. Highly recommend the Halloumi, Moreton Bay Bug Rolls and the Scallops (in picture). Also for drinks the Watermelon Margarita was INCREDIBLE.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, perfect cocktails (and mocktails) and lovely waitstaff. My husband and I enjoyed a late Sunday lunch here last summer and finally got around to bringing our daughters back here tonight and they loved everything as much as us. The google rating has confused me as both times we've visited here everything has been top notch. I feel there are a lot of people out there that don't understand the concept of enjoying and savouring good quality food over a well balanced time frame. Thank you for a lovely evening!

We came for lunch and the food & service was fabulous. It’s also gorgeous to sit with the skylights above! Totally recommend the apple crumble to finish it off! Delicious! It was my husbands birthday also and they gave him a piece of cake & sung Happy Birthday. Thanks for a great lunch Maman!
