We
had
$11.50
remaining
on
a
gift
voucher
and
decided
to
drop
in
and
have
coffee
and
something
to
eat.
The
coffee
was
nice,
the
almond
croissant
was
OK,
but
the
service
was
...
unusual.
The
total
order
was
$16.00
and
the
lady
serving
needed
to
get
her
phone
out
and
fire
up
the
calculator
app
to
work
out
how
much
I
owed
($16.00-$11.50
=
?)
OK,
so
not
everyone
is
good
at
math.
But
then
she
had
absolutely
no
idea
how
to
charge
me
an
additional
$4.50
and
so
asked
me
to
come
back
after
our
coffees
and
pay
the
remainder.
The
almond
croissant
was
delivered
to
our
table
stone
motherless
cold,
so
we
needed
to
take
it
back
to
get
it
warmed
up.
OK
...
so
none
of
that's
ideal
and
all
a
bit
inconvenient,
but
in
the
spirit
of
doing
the
right
thing
and
paying
what
we
owed
after
we
had
finished,
my
wife
approached
the
counter
to
ask
how
we
could
settle
our
account
because
we
were
not
planning
to
stand
in
line
behind
8-10
other
people.
The
girl
behind
the
counter
(same
one
as
it
happens)
says
"oh,
you're
the
voucher
people
...
do
you
have
cash?"
You've
got
a
great
venue,
nice
coffee
and
great
food
(last
time
we
were
there
I
had
the
street
wrap
from
memory,
and
it
was
fab),
and
you
are
clearly
popular,
but
when
your
staff
behave
like
that
I
just
feel
a
little
...
perplexed.
OK,
so
if
all
of
that
was
the
very
worst
thing
that
happened
to
me
today
then
it
wasn't
such
a
bad
day
...
but
the
service
from
your
staff
(well,
one
of
your
staff)
doesn't
make
me
feel
like
I
would
go
out
of
my
way
to
return
to
the
BB
for
coffee
again.
I
didn't
feel
particularly
valued,
and
there
are
lots
of
other
places
that
also
sell
great
coffee
and
food,
and
the
staff
make
you
feel
welcome
and
special.
Other
people
probably
would
have
just
walked
away
and
kept
their
$4.50.
If
it
was
such
a
problem
sorting
out
our
account
then
I'll
bet
others
had
the
same
problem
too
...
which
means
you
are
probably
losing
money.
Sorry
for
the
review,
but
I
thought
you'd
like
to
know.
:(
All
the
best.
