We came here from the Voco hotel because they have breakfast and good coffee and the reviews have been practically perfect and we expected a good experience. The Voco does Buffett breakfast but $30/person, $20/person for people who stay and request “the day before”, so we came to this cafe. It’s a cute small cafe, the staff very lovely and nice. There was no heating which could improve the cold morning a little for people dining in. The coffee was excellent and the veggie holoumi toastie. I recommend this cafe. You can buy specialty milks and beans too.

Probably the best coffee on surfers paradise. And I say this after I tried so many places during my 4 day stay - this one was the best and they also make really good toasties.

I have been going to Olive for some time now. They have the best coffee around (I walk past 2 other cafes virtually every day to do so). The food is also delicious with good variety. Susie cares about her customers which reflects in the quality of her product. Support small business!

Great coffee!! Loved the option of maple as a syrup flavour! Granola bowl was delicious and the ham and cheese croissant was toasted to perfection. Service was super friendly and so good with our 3 year old.

Chai was a tad milky for my personal liking. Coffee was good though! The croissants looked absolutely amazing and huge! I wished I had time to have one.

The food was great, and the drinks were great. The staff even took the time out when I asked for a soy frappe drink to make sure that I didn't have any allergies. The first time I've ever been asked in Australia. Thank you

This place does amazing coffee and food. As someone who is very fussy about her coffee I loved this place. Food was generous portion sizes as well. Perfect stop for your morning coffee or breakfast

4.5 stars. Small menu but good coffee. Only one bit of shade when sitting outside so can be a bit intense under the sun. Açai bowl had chunks of ice in it.

Best coffee in Surfers Paradise. Since they opened two years ago, it has been a huge addition to the area. Best coffee, super friendly staff and excellent food options.

Been every morning on our visit to Gold Coast from Melbourne. As coffee snobs from Melb, the coffee was on point here every time! Loved it. The staff were super friendly and the food was yummy too. Can't recommend highly enough

No joke the best açai bowl and iced caramel latte I’ve ever had… I’ve been to places where they literally only sell açai bowls and this knocks them out of the park!!!! Tastes like Jesus himself made it HAHAHA - Will definitely be back

I visit regularly for work meetings or just a drink during the day. The lovely lady there knows her customers well and is always kind. They make a damn good chai and the croissants are toasted perfectly ❤

I have been going to Olive Cafe for almost 2 years. The service, atmosphere and friendly service is outstanding. I love that they a dog friendly cafe and always make time to say hello to my little mate and give him a puppychino. This place serves the BEST coffee I’ve had on the Gold Coast. 100% recommend to anyone living or visiting the Gold Coast.

Great coffee and service. Awesome pastry selection and cabinet food. It’s the best place to get a coffee around the area.

A wonderful team of happy and bubbly women behind the counter! Amazing coffee at a fast pace. Very welcoming atmosphere. Worth everyone’s time to pop in for a coffee.

Nice vibe in a handy spot. Good coffee and food, my friend said it was the best croissant she had ever had. I had gluten free granola with my açai bowl. We would return.

What a beautiful little space off the beaten path of what's left standing in the Gold Coast Surfers Paradise Boulevard. No competition at all in little strip nowadays. Lovely interior decor to keep it sweet and clean. Good coffee and great selection of food. Fresh pastries and enough food & drinks options to keep you happy. Perhaps I caught them on an off day or like many other businesses, they're feeling the staffing crisis too. Poor ladies appeared to be under the pump straight up but who I assume was the owner, still keep the vibe upbeat and gave great service. I will unfortunately mention that Ellen may have been having a bad day but service was definitely average there, sorry Ellen. In the world of today, service is the final piece on the top of cake for me. Definitely be back though.

What a lovely and incredibly clean little cafe. The coffee is fantastic and the toasted cheese, ham and tomato sandwiches were the best we’ve ever had. We have a prolonged stay at Q1 so we will become regulars here.

I'm assuming the owner is the one working the coffee machine. Either way, she knows how to crank that thing! I've ordered two lattes from them. One small and one medium. While the small was a bit too dilute for my taste the medium had the perfect coffee to milk ratio. Both coffees were delicious! Their bacon and egg roll hits the spot too.

Stumbled upon this cafe after our original plans fell through at Q1 and wow, what a blessing in disguise. Wonderful coffee and croissant for breakfast with both being really delicious. Staff were so friendly, really can't fault anything. Highly recommend!

Superb breakfast! Delicious coffees and sandwiches a short distance from the Cavill Avenue chaos. We enjoyed coffees, hot chocolate, 2 sandwiches (Reuben and a ham/cheese for the toddler). Wifey had an acai bowl with peanut butter. Couldn't fault anything. Will be back.

Had two breakfast burger/coffees specials. The burgers were very oily and the hot choc was cold and not very chocolatey. The staff (both women) were rude and unfriendly to us. When i asked for tomato sauce on the burger, the staff member rolled her eyes. Would not recommend this place if you want respect.

Great coffee, pleasant service! Wish they also did fresh juices and didn’t close so early. Came there at 12:15 and the place was shut

Excellent coffee and service- both my husband and I who are quite particular about coffee agreed that this coffee was the best we had up here(flat whites). And the lady serving was friendly and made me feel really welcome (thank you). Also, she was very efficient - juggling orders, making coffee and food! We also tried the bacon and egg burger (including one without bacon) - delicious. Will be back anytime we are on the GC!
