Beautiful hotel but not finished. Incredibly slow lifts. Stayed for one night in a twin room. Rooms themselves are beautiful with great showers, comfortable beds and great touches. The facilities are not finished. The pool was beautiful with lots of cute day beds however the pool bar is not the one pictured (there is a temporary makeshift one at present) and the spa is not completed either. This will be beautiful once it is completed, however guests should be advised before booking. I’ve seen lots of people talk about parking. We found this easy. Star casino parking on level 3M, they have their own entrance and it’s free so not sure of where people have been going. The biggest issue at this hotel is the lifts. There are simply too many rooms for three lifts and no stairs. The wait is too long (there were no issues with lifts not working when we were there) and this is a serious design flaw which hopefully they find a solution for. It’s understandable with COVID and a tight opening deadline (this place only opened Boxing Day) that things aren’t quite there yet (this is also very evident with the staff’s uniforms which don’t look professional) but hopefully Dorsett can turn this around before being branded with these issues.

I stayed Dorsett GC for 2nights for our wedding anniversary starting from Sunday and checked out on Tuesday. We booked the executive panoramic room (1bed) that includes breakfast through Dorsett website so I could get a good deal for the lower price. I was worried by reading all the bad reviews but it turned out that everything worked so well for us. I'm guessing it was because this hotel opened at the busiest season so there must have been teething problems. The pool was amazing, except that we could only use from 11am till 9pm due to maintenance construction in the morning which was okay. When checking in, we were informed that the complementary canape is available during our stay before so we enjoyed the free canapes and wine which was awesome. The biggest concern was the lift as there are lot of reviews complaining about the slow lift, however during our stay, it was super fast that we didn have to wait at all. Breakfast buffet was lovely, staff were very friendly and helpful. I feel sorry for the hotel and the people working there that they are trying their best to provide good service but looks like the reviews aren't so nice...... There was one small thing I didn't like was that there is no drinkable water in the hotel room fridge. Except for that, everything was outstanding. I would definitely comeback and recommend to my friends and family.

I’m so confused by these reviews below. Our flights were cancelled due to floods so we last minute booked Dorsett. From driving up it was gorgeous. Love the foyer and architecture. They were so lovely at reception and upgraded us to a bigger room. We went swimming in the pool which is just stunning with the infinity part over looking the city. The outdoor chairs are a bit yuck now and definitely need a clean. Our beds are SO comfy. Lots of pillows, bathrooms are gorgeous with a great brand of shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. Dispensers are easy and literally have instructions on them so don’t know why the below were complaining. Has a mini bar with coffee and tea etc. Clothes racks, draws pretty much everything. The fan in the bathroom doesn’t have a button but does eventually turn off itself after awhile. The linked casino and restaurants are great, we recommend the buffet to for breaky. 10/10 I’ll be back again.

Expect no hotel service from Dorsett. I've just checked in this afternoon Saturday 22nd January 2022 and left my luggage with the concierge. The car park is disconnected from the lobby reception, and requires a 750m drive back onto Gold Coast Hwy and onto Casino Drive. Printed driving instructions were handed to me to navigate to the 'yellow' car park. After making numerous phone calls to reception, house keeping, and concierge which have gone all unanswered, I went back down to the lobby to retrieve my own luggage that I left with the porter 30 minutes ago. The luggage was still outside and I had to bring my luggage to the room myself. Adding insult to injury, the porter asked me to return the luggage trolley. I provided the negative but constructive feedback to both reception and concierge, which was met with an apology but clearly there will be no remediation. This is a new hotel that opened on Boxing Day 2021 (less than a month ago) that does not have it's business operations in good working order. The positives are that it is a brand new modern hotel where you can still smell the fresh paint in the room. Pool area is very nice with cabanas and covered seating areas with a poolside bar. Views from level 6 are fantastic.

Unsure why this property has so many bad reviews... Room was nice, beds were a bit hard but oh well, we had a great view of the Gold Coast and pool area. Bathroom was stylish and big. Staff were extremely nice, always smiling and saying hello as you walked past. Housekeeping was done every morning for our stay. Only issue we had was finding our way around, was a little bit confusing for the first day, especially the elevator situation but after a while we got used to it. I really recommend paying extra for the buffet breakfast, hands down the best buffet I've had, so much variety and all the food was hot and fresh. I wouldn't recommend staying here for a long period of time, 3 nights was more than enough. The room being only a suite, forced you out more (no complaints) but would be nicer if they had a separate area for a lounge room.. I would recommend staying here if you're not too interested on staying in the busy star but would still like the easily access the stars features and also a great location. If you're planning on going to the casino or restaurant/s the star has to offer, than I'd just stay there instead.

Excellent experience. Great rooms. Both, king bed without balcony n 2 double beds with balcony. Polite staff, modern and clean hotel, good idea for free vouchers for drinks at their bar/ cafe. Was able to use all The Star amenities. Highly recommend it!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Dorsett Hotel, and I can confidently say that it exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication that continued to impress me throughout my stay. The attention to detail in the hotel's design and decor is exceptional. The blend of modern aesthetics with subtle nods to the coastal surroundings creates a harmonious ambiance that's both welcoming and visually pleasing. The rooms are not only beautifully designed but also equipped with all the amenities you'd need. Plush beds, high-quality linens, and a well-appointed bathroom ensured that my stay was as comfortable as possible. One of the standout features of The Dorsett Hotel is its great service. The staff members are friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making your stay memorable. A special thanks to Andy K who provided me with excellent recommendations for local dining and activities, and ensured I felt well taken care of at every moment. The sunset canapes in the executive lounge were delightful and the breakfast was also diverse and very fresh. Whether you're visiting the Gold Coast for a leisurely vacation or a business trip, The Dorsett Hotel is the perfect haven of luxury and comfort. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience on this beautiful coastline. I can't wait to come back and experience the pool which looked like a dreamy way to spend a sunny weekend!

Pros: Great pool. Well maintained. Modern and comfortable. Most staff are friendly. Cons: Staff are stretched thin by management, resulting in delays getting through when calling hotel reception - but they will get back to you. Only 2 staff on peak check in times, be prepared to wait (constant observation during our stay). Some bar staff were on 12 hour shifts (pretty shocking) but they were friendly and delivered great service. Breakfast buffet well below standard, with poor for selection of food. Especially fresh food. Particularly funny that they had a Mexican theme… with no Mexican cuisine. Location and entrance layout is poorly signed for Uber / ride share pick up - be prepared to receive calls asking where you are. Easier to order pick up at The Darling next door.

Firstly, I must admit that I was disappointed when attempting to get in touch with the reservations team. Despite calling 6 times on 3 different days, I always got a voice message. This was not the best way to start my upcoming stay. However, upon check-in, the staff were friendly and helpful, despite the process being a little slow. I appreciated the gesture of the staff handing out water while we waited, which added a personal touch to our check-in experience. The rooms themselves were nice and clean, and we had a great view overlooking the pool, even though it was unfortunately closed during our stay. The hotel did offer us access to the star hotel pool, which was a great alternative and made up for the inconvenience. The location of the hotel was fantastic, being situated next to everything you could want from shops, bars, restaurants, cafes, playgrounds, and other entertainment facilities. Additionally, the beach was also nearby, making it an ideal location for vacationers. Overall, while the initial experience with the reservations team was not great, the hotel's friendly staff, clean rooms, great view, and fantastic location made up for it. I would recommend this hotel to others looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay.

We stayed for 2 nights and booked 3 rooms. I like the room 10715 because of the sunset is very beautiful. It is also clean and tidy with good air conditioner. Unfortunately, they do not provide amenities such as comb and shaving kits. You have to ask the front office to get your shaving kits, they will kindly provide it for you. The location of the breakfast was quite confusing, the front office did not explain clearly, they only said : into the casino and turn left. Why didn't they say : it is in HARVARD BUFFET ??? The breakfast itself was very satisfying, they offer various kind of food, from Asian to Western food. They also provide ice cream and fresh smoothies. The waitress was very kind and attentive, especially the lady in the juice bar area, she helped me operate the smoothies machine with smile 😊 Overall,I'm very satisfied with Dorsett, and will recommend my relatives to stay in this hotel.

We had a great experience at the Dorset for a week It was great. Morning buffet breakfast was delicious they had so many fresh options. The pool is great so big and great for kids. The gym is so big and very clean. Why I didn’t do full stars is cause the buffet and gym are in another building if u are not interested in walking to another building next door but We liked it as it was good exercise, and it was very quick just to walk to the other building to see the restaurants, delicious buffet and a breakfast and gym. Easy to get to the beach great to get to the shops buy the tram right outside the hotel for good prices, and really good hotel rooms I definitely recommend 2 rooms for a family of 4 or more. Other then that great clean hotel

Rooms were great - location perfect and the staff were very helpful. We had a function to attend at Surfers Paradise so caught a taxi which were lined up outside the casino. Plenty of places to eat nice restaurants at the casino. There are also great places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. Rooms have everything you expect tea coffee milk there is a QR code you can order from the restaurant. Our breakfast were at the casino which was buffet style heaps of choices. Great place to stay and well recommended we have stayed there 4 times.

We stayed 9 nights in the Twin Panoramic room with our 4yo daughter. The location is second to none, within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, playgrounds and shopping. The pool is gorgeous with plenty of day beds and cabanas. The rooms are very modern and beautiful. There is limited room for clothes and toiletries however we made do. Housekeeping was a little slack at restocking coffee, tea and toiletries, however they were happy to provide when asked. Reception were responsive and friendly. The buffet breakfast is superb and had such variety. It surpassed my expectations. Being able to use all of the amenities (pool, gym etc) at The Star is such a bonus. Overall it has been a very lovely and pleasant stay. We would definitely stay again the next time we come to Queensland. Thank you!

This place is magical! First off, the staff are amazing, the amenities are plentiful and the quality of the hotel kept getting better each time you entered a new area. It was clean, modern, sleek and the rooms, whilst being small felt like they were well catered for and the view made up for anything lost in the space. Secondly, the food! We decided to pay for the executive breakfast in the morning which was well worth the $20 each. The selection, quality and quantity of food meant that we were not left hungry or unfulfilled during our breakfast. The staff were attentive, engaging and welcoming and the coffee, eggs and toast was well welcomed. Thirdly, the only thing that let the place down was our final arrival to retrieve our bag from their concierge area. We ended up having to wait upwards of 25mins to receive any kind of recognition that we needed assistance and I suppose whilst this issue could be considered small, when the hotel sets a standard as high as it did throughout out stay, i expected it to carry on until we had exited. Regardless of this, this hotel meet all of our expectations, above and beyond (side note: the pool is not heated, but often not required in QLD). The staff, food, amenities and consistency of service is all well within the price range of what we paid for the room on level 17. We have found our new favourite hotel, and will be back!

Underwhelming. Room service has a delivery fee every time you order anything and a minimum spend of $20. We just wanted 2 coffees but they didn’t equal the $20 minimum spend so we had to order hash browns as well. The hash browns arrived over cooked and cold. The fridge was tiny and there was no complimentary water. The balcony had no table and chairs so we couldn’t even use the balcony lol. Lastly, we were double charged for our room so the debit card used was overdrawn and caused us to incur multiple overdraft fees. Not to mention, that is our major bank card so we have been unable to use it for over 3 days now. Still waiting for our + $2000 to be “released” back into our account. Perks - lovely friendly staff, convenient and free parking. Great location. Coffee was great. Nice big bathroom with rain shower head and amazing water pressure.

We are now staying here to celebrate my husband’s birthday! It was such a good choice!!! We love these facilities of Dorsett such as a pool(heated one) and restaurant. Especially, we met a lovely staff, Emma! She is so professional and kind of us! She prepared sth surprised for my husband as well. We are really HAPPY to stay here. Definitely we will come back on my birthday👍🏻

Great location, well-maintained, staff service is genuine, helpful without being pretentious for an upscale establishment - hopefully the genuine helpful attitude is maintained in the future. Overall, my overnight stay was fabulous. Also, book the buffet breakfast at Harvest Buffet in advance to save - I did but word of caution - it is a good buffet for family - for couples or singles, you might prefer the Dorsett's own buffet on one of its upper floors, I will definitely do that next time.

What a fantastic stay! My partner and I visited for a fun staycation and our expectations were more than exceeded! We waited in the lobby bar whilst our room was being prepared, and the lovely Caroline made wonderful cocktails for us. She went above and beyond and was really helpful in giving us some handy tips around the area. We will be back!

On arrival, check in parking was full so had to stop in taxi space. Went into the door alongside assuming it was the correct door and waited for 10 minutes to be told we should have gone to the next door. Our mistake however a couple of others made the same mistake so better signage would be good. Parking instructions and poor signage in car park also made it difficult to find hotel entrance once in the car park. Room was basic and sparse but clean and neat. Air con struggled and couldn’t get the room below 22’ also air con fan blew straight onto the pillows. Room had a good view, faced west so we kept the curtains closed but still hot during the night. Bathroom was clean and modern with plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. All information on room, dining and facilities was only available on the TV. Went to the pool but it was closed, however we were within the time on the gate for open hours. Only food venue in the same building was the Jin Bar where they had a very reasonable happy hour and limited snacks. Good selection of restaurants in next building however the one we had decided to attend, the M and G was closed on a Friday night with no explanation. First night was very uncomfortable due to being too hot, a very hard bed and non supportive pillows however was very quiet. The next morning i called house keeping and asked if we could get a mattress topper. I was advised that they didn’t have any but would put a doona under the sheet when they made up the room. I gratefully accepted but when we got back late that night it hadn’t been done. Other than this, the staff were friendly and helpful. Close to tram stops and Pacific Fair shopping centre. We stayed here because it was convenient as we were attending a show at the Casino. If we stayed again, would bring our own pillows and a mattress topper.

Customer service was next to none! Paul at check in was lovely & had our room ready to go super early at like 10:30am. Made our stay extra special! Room was clean & bed was comfy. Pool area & casino are always fun too. The entertainment is great. Location is right next to tram which is helpful. Will be returning.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The view was breathtaking, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d like to give a special shout-out to the reception team, who went above and beyond their duties to accommodate my individual needs. The front office staff deserves a round of applause for their outstanding service. The rooms were sparkling clean, modern, and well-equipped, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect for my family, and we had an unforgettable time. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic experience

Very much enjoyed our stay! Rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Great location, parked the car and didn’t have to drive again until we left. Waking distance to great restaurants and the tram makes it super easy to get over to surfers. Executive lounge was lovely - beautiful breakfast and evening canapés with a view. We will be back - thanks!

From check in to check out the experience with Dorsett was great. Pros: Location is great Rooms clean and very well presented Lots of restaurants that are easily accessible within the casino area Buffet breakfast is a MUST the variety is some of the best I've ever seen. Cons: Bed was a bit too firm for my taste. Not marking them down on this as it's a personal preference thing. Overall a great stay and we'd definitely go back.

Had an absolute blast of a stay at this amazing hotel! Absolutely gorgeous views and incredible pool to lounge around by in the sun. Everything is super modern and feels very luxurious. The breakfast on level 19 at the executive lounge was delicious and super fresh. The stuff were absolutely delightful and very helpful. Wanted to thank Daniyar specifically who made our stay so very welcome and took such amazing care of us! Cannot recommend this spot enough 🤩

We arrived early and they checked us in without any problem at all, they also gave our child a teddy bear. We were so lucky to have two different pool where the children had an amazing time! Not alot of breakfast/dessert choices. Close to everything shops and restaurants. Parking was great and not overly priced.

The room was impeccable with comfortable bed and pillows. Reception staff was fabulous - they usually are at any hotel but it was particularly helpful here. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast on level 3, the lights in the bathroom that automatically turn on when you walk in there at night and loved having a balcony to let in some fresh air. I don't usually like to stay at hotels, however, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our stay at the Dorsett was pleasant despite a few minor complaints. The deluxe twin room was clean, comfortable and spacious yet lacking in some much needed storage space. The reception staff were friendly and tried to accommodate our requests but there were obvious communication flaws as we received emails stating that an early check-in and cot would be provided. However, neither of these requests were acknowledged at check-in. While waiting for our room to be prepared we tried to get a coffee at the small Cafe behind the reception desk, but unfortunately it closes at 12.30pm. We were able to wait on level 6 at the pool deck but once again the cafe/bar was closed and the opening hours are only from Friday to Sunday. In my view, extending the trading hours for guests to enjoy basic pool-side refreshments would contribute greatly to the overall experience.

Just had 3 day weekend and stayed in one of the twin panoramic rooms. Pros: Loved the location! Food, drinks, bars and restaurants all great! Also loved the pool! Cons: bathroom in our room was super hot, almost sauna like and impossible to cool down so annoying when trying to get ready to go out. Pillows way too hard. The hotel has 3 lifts and there is no way they could have all been in use as most times they were either full or we had to wait 5-10 minutes! Extremely frustrating. Recommendation for the hotel: start table/sunbed/louge service for food and drinks in the pool area. If the above “cons” were not an issue, loved everything else about the hotel!

Lovely hotel rooms very clean & modern, fantastic pool! Good location central Broadbeach can walk around to shops, restaurants, bars & beach. Welcoming professional staff. Comfiest pillows as well, we had great sleeps. Will be staying again the next time we are in the Gold Coast. Parking is available for $20 a day you just use the casino parks they have a lift attached for hotel access, only con is that on busy nights it’s hard to find a park but this is to be expected so plan ahead for that! :) happy with our experience

We checked in and had been in the room for an hour when a housekeeper let herself in to check our room over. After we told her we had already been checked in, she was very confused. That night, at 7:30pm, we turned one of the head down to put our children to bed and the bottom sheet had blood on it. We called the housekeeping who said no one can help us but they will deliver a sheet so we can change it ourselves. We paid $400 a night to have to change our own bed. Not acceptable. The hotel was lovely but the service was not.

Nice room and the view from there. Very well presented and looks good. Staff was very helpful and nice. Except that below average experience. The reservation system is faulty, waited more than half an hour to sort out the room. Not even drinking water bottles provided. A fridge with just some milk. Lost a dress which was hanged in the changing room before swimming. The biggest confusion is the parking. Good luck to find a spot once you spiralled and spend half an hour to find a spot in the maze. Overall experience.. I'll never miss the hotel and never want to go back! Hope the lost & find dept. gets back the dress and mail it to us.

Absolutely loved our stay! Your amazing front desk agent, Holly I believe her name was, was extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful and really started our stay in such a relaxing and wonderful way! Thank you. Will be back for sure. Room was beautiful and the pool was the best pool I’ve been in for a long time! Stunning.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Dorsett in Broadbeach. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The Hotel, the staff, the food, the pool nothing but outstanding service . A shout out to Justin at the Jin Bar & Cafe amazing service. To the staff and management thank you for such a warm welcome. I am a fussy person and glad to report it won me over. You also must try the Executive Lounge and include this amazing value indeed.

Overall our stay was great. We thought that our parking for the car could have been better arranged. We were wanting car parking as part of the stay package. But we had to pay extra. The pool deck experience was awesome.

Lovely experience in a brand new hotel, modern, bright and clean. We stayed in the Deluxe King Panoramic Room - bathroom with electric blind was amazing, room itself was slightly small had no wardrobes no mini bar not even a water bottle though this didn’t affect our experience but for food and drinks we had to walk next door ( Star casino ) . we had to check in every time we went inside it felt like casino staff were watching us . Hotel definitely needs its own restaurant / Bar open all day till late. Breakfast at harvest (next door ) was very nice Coffee wasn't the best. Sharing swimming pool with next door was great.Staff at the hotel was very nice and friendly ( Thanks Martin ) for your help.

The rooms are well appointed, but not very practical. Room service isn't great - ordered a wine and cheese board which was provided without glasses. The biscuits tasted stale. The leftover wine wouldn't fit in the provided fridge. No complimentary water. The TV streaming option didn't work, or rather we got halfway through a movie and it stopped working, the inbuilt movie selection isn't good in substitution. The provided WiFi is patchy. The staff woke us up cleaning outside the room earlier than checkout time. Parking is via the casino which wasn't explained when queried. Bed is comfortable, shower is good. The bathroom fan is pretty loud, and you can't control it. Not enough lifts to service the building, so cramped lifts, not a great time for that. No express check out. It is a nice room, with some practical problems, but for the price/position all the details need to be better to compete.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at the end of August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! My initial contact with their reservations team was excellent! A Big shout out to Maddy! She was based in Australia and was easy to understand, very polite and extremely friendly. She made the booking process seamless and cleared any doubts I might’ve had given the mixed reviews! She was awesome! While the room was small it served our purposes. It was clean and new and had everything we needed for our stay. The best thing about the room was that it had an outdoor balcony which was fantastic as we don’t like air conditioning and it was a treat to have fresh air. No bottled water in the fridge wasn’t an issue for us as we consider Australian water very good and safe to drink! All the facilities were excellent and the breakfast was delicious! Would definitely book again!😊

I'm certain the people writing these reviews have never stayed in a hotel before. The photos don't do the rooms justice. Imagine complaining about a service fee for... Service? Ha! Beautiful, brand new rooms, with a stunning modern design. My wife and I couldn't be happier, and we had a mountain view. Service is excellent and the downstairs bar is great, especially when the star is a little busier. All round great stay, my only complaint is that the drop off air was hard to find, but it is pouring down rain! Enjoy your stay.

Booked a room for my family, visiting me whilst working on the Gold Coast. Service and cleanliness were exemplary. We really enjoyed the pool setting and gym facilities. Location is great, easy walking distance to Broad Beach, Pacific Fair and tram stop. Unfortunately, car parking was difficult because of the shared spaces with casino guests. Also, because there are only three lifts, there were sometimes extended wait times. A minor issue with payment at reception upon check-out, despite excellent handling by staff prevented a five star rating.

My husband and I stayed at Dorsett a month ago, the room was beautiful, clean and the little personal touches ( our son was getting married and they left a little note to congratulate us) was very much appreciated. The location is perfect, close to everything. The buffet breakfast was amazing and had a wide variety food… definitely did not disappoint. The staff were very helpful, service with a smile. Highly recommend. Thanks again T&M

Lovely hotel and facilities! Location is convenient, quick 5-7 min walk to Broadbeach, restaurants, shops etc. Stayed in the Executive twin panoramic room with 2 kids for 3 nights. The beds are only double size, quite small for a family of 4, queen size beds would be better. The breakfast was delicious and evening canapés and drinks were great. The pool area is nice, good to have a nearby restaurant and bar. All staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

Sadly I was disappointed with my experience. As a stay at home mum, I look forward to my one weekend away per year and was influenced by social media to stay here. The car park is not ideal - I pulled up to concierge and was told they couldn’t take my bags to the room and directed me to the car park. Having to cart all my things from the car park, back to the lobby, back to the room while 4 Bell Carts sat at the front entrance. Not a good first impression. The room was nice. Definitely not $500 per night clean (hand marks all over the windows, hair in shower), no water in the room, the beds and pillows are not comfortable, no room service. Very budget feel with an expensive price tag. I’m not sure exactly what I was paying for. Location was convenient but overall I wouldn’t stay here again. Gave 3 stars because the staff were friendly and the location is good.

The staff here were absolutely phenomenal about helping out with some booking issues I had during a business trip! Things were quickly cleared up inside a few minutes. The overall accommodations are also fantastic, with the room having a gorgeous view of the Gold Coast from the balcony! The rooms were especially nice, with one of those lovely rain-style showers. If I'm ever in the Gold Coast again, I would definitely rebook!

What a great experience and valentines getaway for my wife & I Super impressed with the beautiful welcome from Romeo the front Office manager, who come out behind the desk to go out of his way to make us feel welcome! 20 mins in the room then one of the front desk agents called to see if I was happy and if I needed anything. Loved it! Executive lounge was a beautiful experience and highly recommend for everyone to opt in! Poolside was busy but very enjoyable! Can't wait to come back!

Hard to find - lack of signage. Still under construction. No disabled parking for guests. Letters falling off the lift lobby walls. Signs peeling in the lift and can’t be read. Executive lounge is meant to have tea and coffee and some snacks 24hrs. Nothing to be seen. Coffee machine off and not even a biscuit left out. Pool level closed for renovation. Don’t bother wasting your money we are here for 5 nights, checked in tonight and over it already.

Stayed with our younger son, the staff are wonderful, the rooms are very clean and the location is second to none. The shower was so luxe with great pressure and temperature. No microwave in room which can be an inconvenience when traveling with a young child but no real problem. Right next to the casino which was great for buffet breakfast. Room service was prompt but unfortunately food was not warm. Would recommend staying and would stay again 🥂

This is the first time we stayed at the Dorsett hotel so close to the casino.!Staff are friendly and helpful especially the Manager Mr Romeo Buencamino he greeted us on arrival with his friendly nature and made us feel very welcomed. Stayed in an Executive King room, is modern, clean and comfortable. We definitely be back and highly recommended. Amazing experience.

The Dorsett is my favourite place to stay. Owesome location with luxurious pool overlooking Broadbeach. All the staff were great, special thank you to Sarah for providing exceptional service and also recommending a nice restaurant in the area.

Modern rooms close to the casino and short walk to Broadbeach. Drain smelled a bit when we first got to the room. Could walk out onto the balcony which was nice. No breakfast included but plenty of cafes across the road a short walk away. Parking is in a building behind but you can pull up to check in first then drive back onto the highway and take the turn at the next traffic lights.

Stayed at this hotel for four days. Everything was great. I wish we had access to the pool though, however it was under maintenance. The room was comfy and pretty modern. Hotel design is beautiful, easy access to many restaurant, Casino, and close to a nice area with a lot of cafes. Staff are friendly and professional. smooth and easy check in, check out. Highly recommended!

I have received the most exceptional service ever from Daniel at the reception after our arrival. I booked this accommodation for myself and my sister as she flew overnight and I asked if it was possible to check in a bit earlier as she was tried. He was so accommodating and made sure we were looked after. I really appreciated it especially as this was a catch up we were doing after our father passed away 2 weeks earlier. It was so nice to receive a wonderful customer service. Can't praise him enough. We will definitely be back again one day for another stay!

From check in to check out our experience at Dorsett Gold Coast was exceptional! I had asked if I could check in earlier as we had a wedding and were lucky enough that they made this happen. Very happy with our room and view which was fantastic! The staff were all so helpful and polite and we just had the best stay! We can't wait to come back!! Thank you Dorsett Gold Coast!

Had to check in by myself with a screaming newborn. The reception staff were so friendly, gave my baby a little teddy bear and tried to help calm him down before coming out and taking my bags from my car and taking them up to the room without me having to ask as they could see my hands were full. The staff later called the room and made sure I settled in okay and if they could do anything else. It was so appreciated. The room was gorgeous and clean. Buffet breakfast also had a huge selection.
